Chapter 45 The Aurors

Bill led Sherlock into the Burrow. They were two years apart in age and two grades behind in Hogwarts.

"I heard that you also got twelve O's in the Wizarding Level Examination? Then you applied for the Ministry of Magic's Auror?"

The children of the Weasley family, except for the fourth and fifth George Fred, who are somewhat troublesome, the oldest two brothers, Bill and Charlie, are gentle people.

It's just that the eldest pursued independence of personality, and finally chose to go to Gringotts, Egypt to be a curse-breaker. The second child liked rough power, and went to Romania to become a dragon trainer.

Facing Bill's question, Sherlock nodded flatly.

"I originally wanted to go to the Ministry of Magic to apply for the combat department of the Auror Command to increase my experience, but they thought it would be more suitable for me to stay in the civilian department to study magic. In the end, because of disagreements over the position, I resigned after working for more than a year .”

Bill shrugged.

"Actually, even if you don't become an Auror, it's pretty good to be a curse breaker. Our profession is not boring to sit in the office and wave a wand, but to go out and have many adventures."

"Becoming the professor of defense at Hogwarts is my greatest ideal. I applied for Auror only because Professor Dumbledore thought I was not qualified at that time. Now I have become the position I want to do."

Naturally, Sherlock, the original owner's most peaceful ideal, cannot change his words easily, and Bill expresses his admiration for this.

"I didn't expect that Professor Dumbledore would actually hire a young man in his early 20s as a professor, especially a professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts. This is enough to show that he believes in your ability."

"It's natural."

"However, regarding your joining the Order of the Phoenix, my parents, including others, seem to have different opinions from Professor Dumbledore's. It is estimated that they will have disputes over this matter during the dinner."

Sherlock frowned slightly.

"Why is this again?"

"I don't know either, but the dinner is about to start, and you should know the reason soon."

The Burrow is said to be a Burrow, but it only looks dilapidated and simple. In fact, it can usually accommodate seven children and a pair of parents. The number of rooms and the size of the living room are not small.

After Bill took Sherlock around briefly in the Burrow, they walked out of it and came to the garden.

A long table with a length of more than ten meters has been set up here, and a light-colored tablecloth is spread evenly on it. In addition to the rich food, there are three vases placed at the same distance on the table, filled with Flowers of various colors.

Many people have already come to the garden, there are about twenty or thirty of them.

Sherlock saw a crazy old man with a limping leg, a magical eyeball, and a fierce face, and a tall, bald, dark-skinned middle-aged wizard with gold earrings.

Standing and chatting with them was a young witch with a pale heart-shaped face, vivid emerald green hair, bright black eyes, and wearing the weird sister shirt that most rebellious girls her age would like. Obviously a lively person.

And when Sherlock saw the trio of all three young and middle-aged, the dark-skinned wizard also noticed him.

He saw that Sherlock's gaze was a little heavy, but he couldn't hide the surprise in his eyes. He stopped talking with the disabled crazy old man and the young witch, and walked quickly to Sherlock's side.

"It's been a long time since I saw Sherlock. The last time we met was two years ago, when I said goodbye to you at the Ministry of Magic."

The middle-aged wizard seemed to know that his personality was cold and he didn't like too close contact with others, so he just gave Sherlock a hug.

Sherlock didn't evade, he recognized this wizard with a very obvious appearance.

This person appears in the diary and photos of the original owner.

Kingsley Shacklebolt, one of the Aurors close to Dumbledore, also took good care of the original owner in the Ministry of Magic, and was one of the few people the original owner was willing to contact.

And that disabled crazy old man was also someone Sherlock had seen in the original owner's diary.

Alastor Moody, one of the famous Aurors of the British Ministry of Magic.

He is best known for not using the Unforgivable Curse illegally in the fight against the Death Eaters during the height of Voldemort's power in the 70's, and for reintroducing many of the Aurors who had joined the Death Eaters.

His crippled eyes and legs, as well as scars all over his body, were left over from his heroic battles against Death Eaters and Dark Wizards.

From the fact that he was willing to persuade the Auror who became a Death Eater to change his ways, it can be seen that Moody was a brave, tolerant and conscientious wizard when he was young.

But as he got older, he slowly became suspicious and short-tempered.

However, in the Ministry of Magic, he is very compatible with the original owner. He believes that if he joins the Auror combat department with the original owner's ability, he will definitely become a bright new star in the Ministry of Magic in the future. For this reason, he has helped the original owner many times. Department submits the application.

It was precisely because of this that the relationship between the original owner and him was even better than that of Kingsley.

After Kingsley came to Sherlock, Moody and the young witch beside him gathered together.

"I haven't seen Sherlock for a long time. I heard that you have become a professor at Hogwarts."

Moody's voice was hoarse and rough, befitting his appearance.

"I have known for a long time that your ability is sufficient for this position, but if you continue to stay in the Auror Command, you will definitely have a brighter future."

"My ideal is to become a professor at Hogwarts. Even the Minister of Magic does not have such a bright future in my eyes."

When Moody heard Sherlock's words, not only was he not angry, but he laughed out loud.

"Even if two years have passed, you still look the same."

Kingsley introduced the young witch to Sherlock.

"This is Nymphadora Tonks, a Hufflepuff who is a year younger than you. She just graduated from Hogwarts last summer and is currently participating in Auror's professional training. Her talent is very Yes, she will become an excellent Auror in the future, and at the same time have righteous ideals and aspirations, so I will bring her to meet Dumbledore at the party today."

He wanted to introduce Sherlock to Tonks again, but Tonks interrupted him excitedly.

"You don't need to introduce Senior Forrest to me. I've known him since the second grade, and I even confessed my love to him in the fourth grade."

As soon as she uttered these words, the wizards around her stared at each other, not knowing what to say for a while.
