Chapter 57 The Holiday Begins

Not surprisingly, Harry and the three of them were kicked out of Professor McGonagall's office.

They completely ignore that no one will believe their words if the facts are not in front of them.

Even they themselves were completely sure of Sherlock's crow mouth talent after passing the first few discoveries and the next three tests.

And now they don't talk about convincing Professor McGonagall to believe them, even how to persuade her to work with them to ascertain the facts from Sherlock is a problem.

Just when Harry and the others left Professor McGonagall's office in a daze, they were all worried about what Hermione should do next.

Hermione herself suddenly pulled herself together, and said in a firm voice.

"I can't stay at Hogwarts!"

Harry and Ron turned to her in shock.

"I, I know you're dangerous Hermione, but you're not going to drop out of Hogwarts, are you?" Harry stammered.

Hermione shook her head.

"I'm not quitting school, but I can't stay at Hogwarts this Christmas."

Hearing what she said, Ron and Harry's eyes lit up immediately, and the previous loneliness and depression were instantly swept away.

Their previous ideas had always fallen into a dead end, and they subconsciously believed that Hermione must stay at Hogwarts Castle this Christmas holiday.

But in fact, even though she has signed on the detention list, she can return temporarily and take the Hogwarts Express back home to spend this Christmas holiday.

Anyway, the vacation hasn't started yet, so it's still too late to go to the professor and regret that he wants to go home.

And as long as Hermione leaves Hogwarts, even if Sherlock's crow's mouth effect remains, she will no longer be at risk of being attacked by monsters in the Chamber of Secrets.

In the end it was Hermione who figured this out on her own.

"That's right! What Professor Forrest said is to wish you a happy Christmas holiday. As long as you leave Hogwarts on Christmas and hide this period of time, there will be no more danger!"

Harry said excitedly, and Ron finally showed a smile on his face.

Now the three of them feel like they are alive after a catastrophe.

Harry even felt that when he protected the Sorcerer's Stone in front of the mysterious man last year, he was not as excited as today.

Professor Forrest is terrific!

This is the only thought that arises in his mind at the moment.

The matter of changing my mind and choosing to go home during the Christmas holiday is still easy to solve.

They found Professor McGonagall again, crossed Hermione's name off the list of students applying to stay in school, and confirmed that she would be able to take the train back to London from Hogwarts the day before the Christmas holiday.

After this incident, in the remaining days before the holiday, Harry and the three of them did not dare to test Sherlock again.

Even when they usually meet and greet each other, they are frightened, for fear of being greeted and blessed suddenly by Sherlock.

Finally, the day before Hermione left, she seriously urged Harry and Ron.

"You don't need to do any unnecessary operations on the potion that is being brewed in the bathroom. Just make sure that there is enough fuel under the crucible every three days. Remember not to talk to Forrest on Christmas Day. Meet the professor! If there is really no way to avoid the meeting, you must interrupt him before he can say Christmas greetings to you!"

"If you don't even have time to interrupt, then hide in the lounge immediately after being blessed by the professor, and don't come out until the end of the blessing. But none of you will become the Slytherin heir who opened the Chamber of Secrets." Judging from the previous situation, at least it will not be life-threatening."

Hermione explained a lot, the most important of which was to warn Harry that they must not test Sherlock's crow's mouth when they were not at Hogwarts.

They were really scared. They thought it was a fun thing before, but after Hermione had an accident, they realized how terrible it was to be blessed by Sherlock.

With Hermione gone, the Christmas holidays have officially begun.

And Sherlock, who finished compiling the senior exercise book before the holiday, finally had time to relax.

But no matter how busy he was before, he never let go of his surveillance of Neville on the Marauder's Map.

But after he noticed Neville's abnormality, the castle seemed to become calm.

There had been no attacks for two consecutive weeks, and Neville's whereabouts were normal on the Marauder's Map.

Before the holiday, he didn't do anything unusual except go to the classroom to attend classes normally. After the holiday started, he stayed in the dormitory except for eating. He was much more honest than other Gryffindors who jumped up and down in the castle every day. .

But the more he was like this, the less Sherlock doubted him.

After the holiday started, he made a point of watching Neville, who came over to eat, several times at lunch time.

I found that he seemed to have undergone some slight changes compared to before.

He had probably recovered from his cold, and instead of showing an unnatural pallor, he had become ruddy.

The temperament of the whole person has also become a little more relaxed. Although he still looks very timid, he doesn't have the feeling of being frightened all the time before.

Sherlock could feel that something happened to Neville that caused his change this time, but he couldn't know what it was.

On Christmas Day, when Sherlock woke up early in the morning, he found that there were all kinds of gift boxes piled up in front of his bed.

These are basically sent by members of the Order of the Phoenix. As a new member, he will naturally receive a lot of care this year.

There is only one gift that Sherlock himself sends out at Christmas, which is the Christmas candy that Dumbledore sends every year.

This is a habit that the original owner has maintained for five years after he discovered that Dumbledore showed an extraordinary love for sweets.

Sherlock carefully read this incident in the diary, and did not interrupt this habit, and thoughtfully included a small greeting card in the gift, which read:

Merry Christmas to Professor Dumbledore.

His simple gifts were unpacked, and most of them were books about magic, a hand-knitted sweater from Mrs. Weasley, and a knitted hat from Professor McGonagall.

Sherlock put on a sweater inside his robe, and walked out of the office with a dark blue knitted hat on his head, ready to go to the auditorium to help arrange some decorative decorations.

As a result, before he reached the corner of the stairs on the first floor, he saw Dumbledore in front of him, with a gray beard, carefully standing up from the ground while holding the stairs.

Sherlock was taken aback for a moment, and then realized that when he was going downstairs just now, he seemed to have slipped accidentally!
