Chapter 73 Family Drama
Chapter 73 Family Drama
"Thor Thor?" Ian asked casually.
Seeing Sol's dejected look, he knew that Loki had come to see him.
Hearing Ian's question, Saul looked up suspiciously: "You know me?"
"Of course I know you, Prince of Asgard, Thor Odinson!" Ian nodded.
"I'm no longer the prince of Asgard, and I'm no longer Thor!" Thor shook his head sadly.
He obviously hasn't recovered from Loki's blow, and he didn't even ask about Ian's identity, nor did he wonder why Ian knew his identity.
Seeing Sol like this, Ian also lost interest in talking: "Forget it, let's talk about it next time!"
When he left, with a light finger, a sunrise mark appeared on Sol's wrist.
Sol rubbed the mark on his wrist and found that the sassafras could not be removed, so he ignored it.
Judging by experience, this should be a simple tracking marker and not harmful.
Sol is not surprised that Ian marked him. If outsiders arrive in Asgard, they will also be monitored throughout the process.
If it was the former Thor, if someone dared to mark him, he might explode, but it's a pity that Sol no longer has that kind of spirit.
Ian didn't care about Sol's reaction, and walked out of the base.
It wasn't until he walked outside that Coulson couldn't help asking Ian, "Is he really the legendary Thor?"
"Of course!" Ian nodded affirmatively.
He didn't explain in detail, but Coulson still believed most of it. After all, as Ian, he wouldn't use such things to fool them.
"I suggest you don't interfere with Sol's matter. No matter how Odin punishes him, it's just their family business. He is always Odin's son!" Finally, Ian left a suggestion for Coulson.
Leaving the temporary base of S.H.I.E.L.D., Ian and Aisha drove to a nearby town and found a place to park with a good view.
While setting up the camp, Aisha asked, "When shall we go back?"
"Stay for two days, and we'll go back after the play!" Ian replied.
Staying here is naturally to ensure Thor's smooth return to Asgard, otherwise wouldn't the mark left on Thor be in vain?
The function of that mark was never monitoring, and Ian was not interested in monitoring Saul.
I don't know if it was because of Ian's suggestion that Saul was quickly let go by Coulson, and Ian watched him being brought back to the town by Shavig.
The next day, before the family drama in Asgard started, Ian saw an unexpected person first.
"Tony, why are you here?" Ian asked quite unexpectedly.
"Of course I came to see you! Brother, you won't forget, right?" Tony asked.
"Forgot what?" Ian looked at Tony suspiciously.
Tony had such an expression as expected: "It seems that you really forgot! You left all the energy company affairs to me, but ran out to travel by yourself, brother, you are not mean!..."
In fact, Ian really forgot about the energy company. After he gave Tony the money and blueprints, he never cared about the energy company's construction progress.
If Tony hadn't found him, he didn't know when he would remember to install the equipment!
"Okay, after watching today's scene, I will return to New York to install the equipment!" Ian promised casually.
The core equipment of the three buildings is not a big project, even if it is rubbed by hand on site, Ian does not need much time.
Tony didn't notice Ian's assurance, but he grasped the point instantly: "A play? What good show is there today?"
"You'll know later!" Ian didn't answer.
Tony is not as easy to fool as Coulson, a few words will definitely not get rid of this curious baby, and Ian is too lazy to explain repeatedly.
It would be better to let him see the facts with his own eyes first, and then explain it much easier.
Ian and the others didn't have to wait too long. Not long after breakfast, they saw a sudden gathering of wind and clouds in the distance, and then a colorful beam of light fell from the sky.
"What is this?" Tony was about to put on his battle armor and fly over to have a look. It didn't look like a natural phenomenon.
But Ian grabbed him: "This is the Rainbow Bridge, a remote space transmission device!"
"Rainbow Bridge?...Einstein-Rosen Bridge?" Tony thought of the corresponding thing.
"The principle should be similar, but the technical content is very different! The Rainbow Bridge is an artifact of Asgard, which can teleport back and forth from any corner of the universe!" Ian briefly explained.
He has never seen the Rainbow Bridge with his own eyes, so he can only explain it according to the legend.
"Asgard?...the domain of the gods in Norse mythology?"
Seeing the information Jarvis searched, Tony still couldn't believe it.
Ian changed the angle and explained to Tony: "If the myths and legends are difficult for you to understand, you can also put it another way:
Asgard is an alien planet, inhabited by a group of aliens who call themselves gods. They have an extremely powerful civilization, are famous in the universe, and have left legends on the earth."
With such an explanation, Tony immediately understood: "So it's a group of aliens!"
"Actually, based on their racial longevity, personal strength, and science and technology, it's not a bad idea to call them Protoss!" Ian corrected,
"The earth is nominally the protectorate of Asgard. It is precisely because of Asgard's protection that no alien civilization dares to invade the earth with great fanfare!"
Although what Ian said was true, this fact made Tony feel uncomfortable: "The earth still needs aliens to protect it?"
Ian nodded affirmatively: "In a sense, yes! It has been like this for thousands of years since Odin became the conqueror!"
Tony would like to say that the earth does not need the shelter of other people, but he is obviously not qualified to say this now.
So he didn't continue to talk about this issue, but shifted his focus to the present: "So, what's the situation today?"
"A family drama, an experience that Odin arranged for his son, Thor!" Ian simply replied.
Thinking of Tony's character, he warned in advance: "Don't take it lightly later, and evacuate the people first! Let the rest of the matter be resolved by themselves as much as possible!"
"Will there be a fight later? Why didn't the civilians be evacuated in advance?" Tony asked.
"What reason did you use to convince them? These poor people are not as easy to talk to as urban residents!" Ian asked back.
Liberal democracy is not a joke in such a remote place. There is no sufficient reason. Even if the army is called, they dare to take out guns to resist.
Of course, if the money is enough, these people will definitely cooperate actively.
But Ian wouldn't do that, even if he had too much money to spend, he wouldn't waste this money!
"Okay!" Tony calculated the population of the town and didn't ask for trouble.
Anyway, the town's population is not large, and there is still time for temporary rescue after the incident!
