Homecoming from Hogwarts

Chapter 1181 Harry is held hostage!

As Harry rushed forward following Hermione, what was swaying before his eyes were not two groups of angry people.

It was the big-nosed face of Argus Filch, the castle warden of Hogwarts.

He remembered that in his second year, before Nick invited him to attend his 500th anniversary celebration, he was dragged to Filch's office for dirtying the floor.

There, he discovered that Filch, a 'famous' Squib, was planning to take a 'magic crash course'.
Specially teaches squibs how to cast spells.

When I told this to Ron and Hermione later, Ron laughed at it.

Now, everything that was happening made Harry understand why Filch, who was already old and not at risk of unemployment, was still trying so hard to master magic.

Squibs are extremely low in the wizarding world, even lower than the Mudbloods that pure-blood families always talk about!

The strikers deployed by the Ministry of Magic in Diagon Alley were all wizards who had survived the brutal war a few days ago.

In another scenario, Harry would have undoubtedly called these people heroes.

But the strikers who dared to fight against the Death Eaters and dark wizards who followed Voldemort attacked a group of weak people in public. Although they were indeed provoked -
"No, don't do anything to them!"

Hermione screamed and rushed forward, but the angry strikers were not listening at all.

"This is dangerous, kid, this is not the place for you!"

The striker, whose arm was held by Hermione, pushed him away, then swung his wand fiercely, and the red light from the tip of the wand knocked out a protester.

It is clear that these workers have been feeling resentful for some time.

The strikers' harvesting like straw did cause them to panic for a while, but at this moment, a tall, dull-looking man raised his hand and shouted,
"Liwei, the Ministry of Magic wants to kill us all to cover up its tyranny, but we will never give in. We will fight them to the end for our families and our lives!"

Then, the civilians, whose anger was ignited, howled and swarmed forward regardless of the terrible curses that were attacking them!

Although these were all duds that could not perform a complete magic, it had to be said that the scene was quite shocking when hundreds of strong and angry young men rushed forward waving all kinds of "weapons"!

The wizards who were watching the commotion were all panicked and hurriedly retreated to the back.

"This damn mob thinks they can scare us like this!"

The striker who pushed Hermione gritted his teeth and cast a Stunning Spell at the wizard who shouted.

But the dull and sturdy villager was surprisingly quite agile. He lowered his head and dodged the stunning spell!
The strikers from the Ministry of Magic did not actually kill anyone, they just wanted to control the situation. However, faced with an influx of civilians whose numbers were twenty to thirty times theirs, their wands were useless even if they waved to create afterimages.

However, if civilians could resist wizards through numbers, there would be no wizarding world.

The strikers, who had been tempered by the war and had a tacit understanding, all teleported away.

They appeared at a farther distance, standing in a large circle and surrounding these "unarmed" people.

"Don't do anything to them, they're not, what are you doing, Ron!"

Many villagers had already fallen, but Hermione still hoped to prevent this tragedy. She shouted at the striker, but Ron suddenly pulled her and made her stagger.

"What are you going to do!"

However, Ron was not looking at Hermione, but at a dark-skinned young man with thick fingers.

Unlike his companions who were panicking and didn't know what to do after being surrounded by the strikers, this young man ran towards them with a clear purpose.

"Don't you see that she is speaking for you?"

Harry immediately flashed in front of Hermione, his voice threatening.

"Harry, Hermione, Ron and Lavender, how are you spending your summer vacation?"

Amid the cries of crying and shouting as well as angry yelling, this good-looking young man called out their names accurately and greeted them.

Harry thought he was hallucinating, but the man's swaying eyes did give Harry a sense of familiarity.

"John, we don't touch children. That's an agreement!"

A fat woman who was throwing bottles of corrosive liquid at the hitters passed behind John and shouted something hurriedly.

"I know, I'm telling them to leave!"

The young man in front of them responded, and Harry learned from this brief conversation that the young man's name was John.

"Do you know us?"

Hermione raised her wand and slashed it, blocking a spell that a striker was throwing at John. She asked in astonishment. "What a pity you didn't recognize me--"

Being in an extremely dangerous situation, the man looked dazed. He shook his head as if inadvertently, dodging a spell by himself, and then looked at Hermione calmly.

Harry opened his mouth and it opened and closed soundlessly.

"Oh, you are!"

This very personal performance made a figure jump into Hermione's mind. She covered her mouth and lowered her voice, with a look of disbelief.
"Luna?!"

"it's me--"

The man called John nodded nonchalantly, seemingly unaware of how much shock and confusion he had brought to Harry and the others!
"Lu, Luna, but, what's wrong with you?"

Ron stuttered and his eyes bulged out of their sockets in shock!

"Polyjuice Potion!"

Hermione reacted immediately.
"But why do you pretend to be one. One."

Luna was about to say something, but suddenly she sensed something and looked at the row of fireplaces embedded in the wall.

Hoo, ho, ho!

The rows of gloomy fireplaces suddenly burst into green flames, and in the flames, strikers appeared on the drop-off platform one after another.

And judging from the stern expressions of these strikers, they were obviously not here for a proper negotiation!
The people who had been taught a lesson and were running away in fear became even more panicked. They ran around in disarray, and the attackers who appeared reacted quickly and joined the suppression team!
Harry had already seen camera lights light up in the crowd of onlookers in the distance, and from the frequency of the flashing lights, it was clear that what was happening was making the Daily Prophet reporters quite excited.

Seeing people falling one after another made veins bulge on Harry's forehead. He had to act, otherwise, today's events would most likely turn into a scandal that would shock the wizarding world.

"We have to do this another way, Harry!"

Hermione's mind became clear again, and she stopped Harry who wanted to rush up and fight with the striker.

"We can't stop this, these hitters won't obey our orders!"

"You mean, we should go to the Ministry of Magic to ask for help!"

Harry asked eagerly.

"That's good, but many people will get hurt during this delay!"

Hermione took a deep breath and looked at Harry with burning eyes.

"I'm sorry, Harry, I have an idea, but I'm afraid it will require some sacrifice on your part?"

Harry blinked, confused.

At this critical moment, Hermione had no time to care about the laws of the Ministry of Magic. She moved her wand slightly, turning the spatula in Luna's hand into a dagger, and then pushed Harry into Luna's arms.

Before Harry could react, Luna understood what Hermione meant first.

The dagger in her hand was placed swiftly on Harry's neck.

The cold touch made Harry shiver a few times, and he immediately reacted.

"Are you going to--"

"I don't think you'll mind, Harry!"

Hermione asked urgently.

"Oh, sure, just oh, okay!"

Harry took a few deep breaths.
"Just do as you wish!"

"This is really crazy. I don't think Sirius will be very nice to you when he finds out!"

Ron shook his head, looking ridiculous.

Hermione had no time to care about anything else. Seeing that Luna and Harry were already in place, she dragged Ron and Lavender back a few steps, pointed her wand at her throat, took a deep breath, and the next second, a piercing scream rang out.

"Stop, someone is holding Harry Potter hostage!" (End of this chapter)
