"It's so normal that he even gave up the position of the leader." Emperor Ziwei sneered. It was not surprising to have an international student, but if an international student could get the position of the principal, then there must be a big problem.

"He is just the leader of the Western Sect." Jieyin Zhunti smiled slightly: "He is not the leader of Buddhism. If he gives in, then so be it. The Great Emperor does not need to care."

Just as Taoism originated from Laozi rather than the Three Pure Ones, Buddhism was not founded by the two saints in the West, but its source is Buddha Shakyamuni.

The Buddha combined the words of the six teachers of the heterodox religions, and after comprehending materialism, the seven elements, the theory of life, determinism, agnosticism, and Jainism, he suddenly realized Bodhi and founded Buddhism.

Cultivating the Four Noble Truths of "suffering, origin, cessation, and path", walking the Eightfold Path, observing the Twelve Links of Dependent Origination, and ultimately realizing the Three Dharma Seals of "impermanence of all dharmas, no-self in all dharmas, and nirvana is tranquility" is called the Tathagata, the World Honored One.

The Buddha was preaching under the Bodhi tree, and a group of great Arhats and Bodhisattvas were practicing the Dharma. However, due to their lack of wisdom and blessings, they could not attain Buddhahood in one step. So they spontaneously formed study groups to discuss with each other and exchange ideas. This was the religious group.

As time passed, the sect gradually grew stronger. While subduing the gods of other religions, it also introduced the concept of Shintoism, and thus Buddhism was officially formed.

Since then, after countless kalpas, flowers bloomed and withered, Buddhism took root, but people only knew about the Tathagata Buddha in the Western Paradise and chanted Amitabha, but did not know about Sakyamuni.

Amitabha Buddha represents infinite life, infinite light, and infinite Buddha. He represents the resonance of the virtues of all Buddhas in the ten directions and three periods of time, past and future. To see Amitabha Buddha is to see all Buddhas in the ten directions; to contemplate Amitabha Buddha is to contemplate all Buddhas in the ten directions.

Amitabha Buddha is the foundation of all pure lands in the ten directions and three times, the source of the cycle of merit and karma, and is also known as Vairocana Buddha.

The Buddha has three bodies: the Dharmakaya Vairocana Buddha, which symbolizes the Dharma, the Sambhogakaya Vairocana Buddha, which symbolizes Buddhism, and the Nirmanakaya Sakyamuni Buddha, which symbolizes the Buddha.

However, the Guide Taoist is the spokesperson for Amitabha Buddha in the ancient heaven, which is a bit like the relationship between the Heavenly Dao and Hongjun.

As for the Taoist Master Zhunti, when Sakyamuni attained enlightenment, the Bodhi tree behind him absorbed a bit of Buddha nature and was transformed into a human being. Later, he became a disciple of the Buddha and practiced cultivation. Thanks to the important status of Bodhi in Buddhism, he is often regarded as the official seal of Buddhism.

For ordinary matters, Amitabha Buddha as the legal person and Bodhi tree as the official seal can settle the matter in one word, and there won’t be any big waves within the Buddhist community.

Even if the leader of the Western Religion is given to Taoist Duobao, it is only an internal matter of the Western Religion. As long as Taoist Jie Yin can put pressure on himself, other gods and Buddhas will not care.

However, when it comes to the issue of the future Buddha and the successor of Buddhism, all the great Arhats and Bodhisattvas will start to act up.

The great arhats and great bodhisattvas are different from the arhats, bodhisattvas and Buddhas of later generations. Only those disciples who participated in the conference under the bodhi tree where the Buddha preached the Dharma and were recognized by Sakyamuni are qualified to be called a great character, and their status is extraordinary.

In other words, the great Bodhisattva Maitreya, the great Arhat Ananda, the great Arhat Kasyapa, the great Bodhisattva Manjushri, the great Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara... these great Arhats and great Bodhisattvas all directly take Sakyamuni as their teacher, and are Buddhist disciples who own the original shares of Buddhism.

Jie Yin and Zhunti can be the leader of Western religion, but not the leader of Buddhism.

"Really not?" Emperor Ziwei shouted, and the avenue roared, like thunder in the sky, thousands of stars falling, with the great majesty of the Emperor of Heaven.

However, Jie Yin and Zhunti were both masters of spiritual cultivation, so they remained calm even when Mount Tai collapsed. They just put their palms together and said, "No change, no change!"

If this were changed, Mount Sumeru would be split into two halves.

"Then I will have the same title as Dou Mu and be ranked among the twenty-four heavens."

Emperor Ziwei spoke calmly, and his original majesty and momentum were restrained and turned into nothing.

At his level and position, there are very few things in the world that can attract him, just a few, such as the position of the Emperor of Heaven and Pangu's Dao Fruit. The rest are just clouds.

If Buddhism can really offer the position of Buddha, Emperor Ziwei can still consider in-depth cooperation and both parties can join.

However, the only thing the two Western saints could offer was a mere Chakravartin, so they could only cooperate temporarily.

"That's good, that's good."

Zhunti Taoist heaved a sigh of relief, and said with a bitter look on his face: "Then I will inconvenience your Majesty. Although I am an outsider, my Buddhist sect will definitely support your Majesty in becoming the King of Fengdu."

"Alas, the prejudices of this world." Zhunti Taoist sighed and said, "Originally there is nothing, so where can dust gather? Only when you get rid of all external things can you see the true heart of Bodhi."

"This is the Buddhist way, not my way of God." Emperor Ziwei was unmoved and changed the subject.

Buddhism talks about emptiness, Taoism talks about the way, and Shintoism talks about faith. Their fundamental doctrines are different, so how should they deal with each other? Once there is a conflict, it becomes a dispute over the great way.

"My Buddhist sect has ten Yama Kings who can help Your Majesty." Zhunti Taoist pondered and said, "They are foreign demon gods who specialize in dealing with little ghosts and governing the underworld. They can be called the gods of the underworld."

"Ten Hells, that's not enough." Emperor Ziwei then asked, "Don't use some foreign methods to fool me. I need the fundamental power of your Mount Xumi."

"I have a great wish, Ksitigarbha, to grow a blue lotus on the sea of ​​blood." The Taoist Jie Yin suddenly interrupted, smiled and said, "You can assist the Emperor of Fengdu."

"Ksitigarbha?" Not only Emperor Ziwei was surprised, but even Taoist Zhunti was surprised, because Ksitigarbha has not returned to his position in this era.

"Fellow Daoist Jieyin, are you trying to fool me?" Ziwei Emperor asked back, "I want a great Bodhisattva, not just any Bodhisattva."

"Good, good, Your Majesty, calm down." The Taoist Jie Yin smiled knowingly and said, "After the deification, the great bodhisattva will return to his position."
