Prehistoric Calendar
1936. The prehistoric calendar is finally over.
The prehistoric calendar is finally over.
Chapter 2019 of Prehistoric Calendar started on July 7, 11. Four years have passed since I started writing Prehistoric Calendar. Finally, I have finished a book of nearly 1 million words, Prehistoric Calendar.
In fact, if you read this book from beginning to end, you can see that I have been looking for changes, balance, and writing style in this book.
To put it simply, I want to find a balance point between you and me in the writing process of this book, and find a point where the book is good-looking and I am willing to write it.
I will always remember the pain of the infinite future.
What should a book look like so that it is both good-looking and I am willing to write it?
The Age of the Macroverse may serve as an example.
There are parts of Xia Xing Tian Xia that can be filled in.
When it comes to this prehistoric period, I will try this balance point with every major chapter.
From Wu Mingshi's Long Aotian style mixed with comedy.
Hao's heavy style adds illustration.
The ancient epic feeling coupled with the lightness of the ending.
I'm always trying to find a balance.
From your feedback, to subscribing, to rewards, to leaving messages, I have been paying close attention.
Obviously, expository style is the first to be abandoned, because most people don't want to write too detailed and trivial.
Some of the funny style can be retained.
There can be a sense of heaviness, but to accompany the plot, the epic sense requires a lot of foreshadowing, which requires a good sense of proportion. And the lightness in the last episode means that the plot develops rapidly, and some side details are not described at all, just like in ancient times. The fist is so straightforward, which is actually what you like the most.
Although I am 40 years old, I can still improve. As long as I want to, as long as I have this desire to improve, then I can find the material for improvement in every book.
This idea started with Infinite Dawn, and then a few books, especially the Great Desolate Period, to find the balance point and obtain the materials for progress. This business is really not a loss.
Then the topic returned to the prehistoric calendar."Prehistoric Chronicles" has several shortcomings. The first one is of course that it is too long. Although the three eras and the three protagonists are entangled with each other, it is obviously not suitable for online novels.
The second issue is naturally the sequel. As the most important book to complete the infinite world view, it must be based on the original setting. And because the time span spans more than ten years, there are indeed situations where the setting is compromised. This is partly my own fault, but I have also learned my lesson. I will try my best to finish it in one book in the future. If I want to complete the world view, there cannot be a protagonist, or at least there will be few connections between the protagonists.
Third, I wanted so much and was so eager to describe all the ideas and settings in my heart, such as the power system, the soul system, the enemy and friend system, time and era, etc. in the infinite world view, that I spent a huge amount of space to describe it. It is still my fault to describe and explain, but it affects the story. The next book must learn this lesson and use less explanation.
The above three are the shortcomings that I think need to be corrected the most. I learned my lesson and thought about it carefully. Again, I can still make progress, but I need to accept my shortcomings first.
Then there are some things about the last episode of Honghuangli. I know that there must be friends who want to ask Jun and Chu Xuan, as well as the battle of the Silver Land.
There were actually four battlefields in that battle, corresponding to the prehistoric calendar, the human calendar, several future calendars, and the sublimation calendar. Jun's battlefield involved the sublimation calendar, which is the scene in the book where all the wise men in the future collectively fight. In the book It has appeared, but it was only one-sided before. When it comes to Jun, especially when Jun transforms into Chu Xuan, this must be described in detail. There are too many spoilers, especially when it involves the last book of the Infinite series. content, so there is no description in the Battle of Kaitian, but it just roughly leads to this point.
At this point, the prehistoric history is over.
There is only one last book left in the Infinity series Universe, but not the next one.
Because writing such a book is really tiring, very tiring.
I'm full after eating, right?
So I plan to write the next book. I will first use the information I have learned from the three books of Infinite Dawn, Xia Xianxia, and Ancient History to see if I can break through myself and make progress, and write a book with this attitude and mood. This new book.
A new world view, a new group of interesting people, and an equally interesting setting and story.
A story that begins with death and ends with death.
I will start writing this article around September 9st. I will take a break these days and sort it out.
So, friends, partners, everyone who has been with me until now.
See you in the next book on September 9st.
