The Northern and Southern Dynasties was a very fascinating era, but it was also an era that historical authors rarely wrote about, which also meant that this book might not be a popular one among the general public.

Such books can currently only appear on subscription-based platforms. After all, authors also need to make a living, and the names of people from the Northern and Southern Dynasties are enough to discourage ordinary readers.

I have joked with other author friends before that at the current situation on Qidian, and even in the history section of the entire network, as long as you mention Lao Zhu, you will have a guaranteed 1000 subscriptions. And friends who have read the previous book know that Fei Niao is only very familiar with the history of Ming Dynasty, and can even recite it by heart, but in the end he still chose this era, the content of which in the history textbooks does not even take up two pages.

This is probably because when Feiniao was reading historical materials, he was attracted by the interesting history of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and he couldn't help but introduce this history to everyone, so he chose such a difficult era.
