The Secret Code of Monsters.

Chapter 415: Banquet

Chapter 415: Banquet
The barbecue in the evening is definitely not the same shop as the barbecue in the daytime.

Or not in the same dimension.

When night falls, the land prospers again.

Men, women, children.

There are no 'gentlemen' or 'ladies' here, and there are no rules about who can go where and who can't go where - there are no such rules.

All, all.

There is something for everyone to do in the pub.

The "BBQ Hands" was very lively.

Men and women with coal-dust on their faces stopped at the door, picked out a clean bucket from a row of buckets, scooped up a handful of water to wash their faces and hands, then, arm in arm with their friends, pushed open the door and shouted Old Moore's name loudly.

Women were more gentle and washed more carefully - but they mostly wiped their children's faces, nostrils and between their teeth.

Use the bucket specially reserved by the men to wash the children.

Then comes yourself.

They laughed and walked into the tavern with their sisters.

The children became even more noisy.

After all the adults had finished using them, they would secretly soak the strips of cloth and swing them back and forth at the door. Then, some parent, who might be someone else, would rush out and scold them, kick them a few times, and grab them by the collar and carry them away.

The pub was bustling.

The rooms on the second floor can hear it.

There was no way Rose and Roland could be missed - Kingsley was a little embarrassed.

He doesn't like such occasions very much.

It was too noisy and he couldn't think.

"A qualified detective must ensure the accuracy of his judgment in a variety of situations and keep his thinking brain working."

Roland is talking bullshit.

Kingsley knew it, too.

But the rookie detective agreed anyway.

"Let's go! Quickly, quickly!"

Rose fluttered about the room like the Goldfinch Gates until Kingsley blew out the candle and followed Roland.

The first floor is a spacious tavern, where the men and women who come down to the mines can have fun.

Therefore, the tables and chairs only need to be able to bear the weight.

It couldn't be rougher.

Peggy was busy like a little bee, going one way and the other at the call of old Moore - she saw three people coming down from upstairs, and many people saw it.

Everyone suddenly fell silent.

"It seems that the people of Inns Town don't welcome pretty girls."

Rose shouted loudly.

Someone started whistling.

Towards Roland and her.

Then there was the laughter of the men and the thumping of wine glasses on the table.

"Come down and have a drink! Pretty 'girl'!"

they shouted.

"Their mouths are just like their hands. The coal ash is dirty, but the flesh and blood underneath is clean." Peggy was worried that Roland would be angry, so she walked forward and led them to a seat.

In the middle of the wall.

"I won't be offended by these words."

Some of the women at the tables along the way reached out to pull Roland's sleeves and trouser legs, and some of the older ones were even bolder, putting their hands in places where they shouldn't be, repeatedly, with varying degrees of severity.

Rose felt very comfortable here, like a fish in the sea.

"Don't touch my man!"

She glared at the women fiercely.

"Then you have to prove that this is your man first." A woman retorted: "Prove it to us, right? Everyone?"

Others started to make a noise again.

Even Kingsley began to smile.

"You haven't 'hooked up' this gentleman yet, have you?" The women kept shouting and teasing Rose.

Kingsley looked stern, Rose blushed, and only Roland whispered to them what "put on" meant.

It seemed that no one cared that he was blind, and no one cared whether the blind man was cursed. The Father of All Things did not seem to have much market in this mining area. Or perhaps the flesh and blood had suffered enough and had long understood the truth of life:
Nothing can follow them forever except damn pain.

Especially the blessing of the All-Father.

It is absolutely impossible.

"Where are you from?" Someone asked the same question as Peggy.

"Simanlis."

"Wow."

Someone booed.

Maybe no one has ever been to West Manlis, but that doesn't stop people from making a fuss.

"It seems that our little Peggy has found true love." The women joked: "Sir, you have to be careful. This girl has big hands and feet. When she climbs up and presses you--"

Rose gave her the middle finger.

The scene at this moment reminded Rose of the days with the Elephant Gang, the days when she and her companions were galloping on the streets.

"You blended in quickly," Kingsley ordered the food and looked around at the dirty, messy and noisy environment. He had to lean forward and shout loudly to communicate with the people at the table. "So, the two people from West Manlis took a train from London that didn't go through West Manlis."

He smiled strangely: "I have an acquaintance who lives in West Manlis, and all the business this time comes from her."

she?
Rose was curious: "Your lover?"

Kingsley's expression became even weirder when he mentioned his lover.

"Never."

He replied.

"Hey! Where are you guys going? Traveling?"

someone asked.

"Almost." Roland tilted his head and answered loudly: "Walk around and stop at interesting places."

Someone else said, "There's nothing interesting here."

"You don't have the final say." Roland raised his eyebrows.

There was laughter all around.

Soon, wine and food were served.

From Peggy's tray to Roland's table, you have to pass many tables along the way.

These lovely miners, both men and women, began to put things on the tray: the men went for Rose, the women went for Roland - and some with more unique tastes went for Kingsley.

Of course, they were all impressed by the performance of these three after they went downstairs.

The dress was extraordinary, but not contemptuous.

So, when the plates arrived at their destination, they were almost piled up into a small mountain: although they were all worthless steel brown bread, or two or three glasses of cheap light beer.

"For Paige's new friend!"

Men and women raised their glasses, while the children ignored the atmosphere and stuffed the black wine on the table into their mouths.

Peggy…

It seems to be more popular than they thought.

"I wish you a happy holiday! Sir and Madam! The people in Innstown are very kind. If you have any questions, just look for Peggy, right?"

"Of course, know-it-all Paige! Paige who's old enough to find a man!"

The blonde girl who was the center of the topic was not shy. She hummed a song all the way and served some fine wine and bread to every seat. She even asked for some meat.

He was mumbling something while walking.

Like these miners, she has broad hands and feet, as well as a rough and hard heart.

So, after the busiest time was over, she dared to sit down next to Roland with a glass of wine.

Someone started to make a fuss again.

"Have a drink, Mr. Dawson."

She touched Roland's cup with her wooden cup, and under Rose's annoyed look, she grabbed Roland's hand and placed it on the cup handle.

"I'll help you."

she says.

Someone whistled.

"If you want to pick the flower of Inns Town, you have to drink at least two large barrels!"
