I became a weirdo in Marvel

Chapter 140 Acting Skills

Chapter 140 Acting Skills
On the second floor of the pub, there were many empty bottles scattered on the floor and the air was filled with a strong smell of alcohol.

Under the dim light, Eddie stood there staggering, his cheeks as red as ripe apples and his eyes blurred, obviously drunk.

"That stinky woman, what's wrong with me!"

Eddie burped, his voice hoarse and full of anger, his fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white.

"How am I inferior to that pretty boy? I'm more handsome, richer, gentler, and more loyal than him, but you chose him instead of me! You are really blind!"

His voice echoed in the empty tavern, carrying with it a deep sense of loss and unwillingness.

Every word seemed to tear his heart apart, the pain and anger intertwined together, as if to devour him.

Amy stood aside, her eyes flickering, as if she was thinking about something.

She was a beautiful woman, with long eyelashes casting a faint shadow under the light, and her eyes were complex and deep, as if she found some resonance in Eddie's drunken words.

She sighed softly and said softly: "She is indeed blind, you don't have to be so sad."

As she spoke, her hands searched Eddie's body back and forth without hesitation, her movements gentle but with a hint of urgency, her fingers sliding through his pockets, groping for his wallet and keys, her movements skillful and secretive.

Eddie was so drunk that he didn't notice Amy's little move at all.

He just continued to mutter to himself, as if he wanted to pour out all the pain in his heart.

"Why, why did she do this to me?"

Amy paused for a moment, a complex emotion flashed in her eyes. She patted Eddie's shoulder gently and comforted him softly: "Don't think too much, Eddie. You deserve better."

Eddie just grunted and didn't answer her.

After waiting for a while, Amy was sure that Eddie was really asleep. She raised the corners of her mouth slightly, turned around and walked downstairs lightly.

She didn't notice that Eddie quietly opened his eyes and glanced at her triumphantly the moment she left.

If it was the old Eddie, he wouldn't be able to drink much.

However, since he took the assassin's potion, his willpower has been significantly improved, and he can still keep a clear mind even when drunk.

Despite this, he remained cautious and did not move, fearing that there might be surveillance around him.

He continued to maintain the original posture, but his ears were perked up, trying his best to catch the movements downstairs.

Although the distance is a bit far, at least some sounds can be heard.

On the first floor, Amy was already sitting at the bar.

The old bartender, still concentrating on wiping his glass, glanced up at her and asked expressionlessly, "How's that boy?"

"The feelings are quite genuine, unlike those people. And he doesn't have any messy stuff on him." Amy replied with a hint of confidence in her tone.

The bartender frowned slightly and reminded: "Be careful, there are more and more strange faces appearing here recently. Who knows if they are real tourists."

Amy chuckled and soothed him, "Don't worry, I know what's going on. I'll try it again tonight, and if there's no problem, I'll take him to church tomorrow."

"So urgent?" There was a hint of surprise in the bartender's voice.

Amy's eyes turned cold: "You know we are in great need of sacrifices now."

Hearing this, the old bartender was silent for a moment, a complex emotion flashed in his eyes, but he quickly regained his calm.

He continued to wipe the wine glass in his hand, even though it had been wiped spotless. Amy's mouth curled up into a sneer, she stood up and completely opened the half-closed door.

The pub is officially open for business.

An unknown amount of time had passed before Amy went upstairs again, and she found Eddie lying on the floor, holding onto a table leg.

Amy chuckled but glanced behind her without leaving any trace.

Two drunken men were following her upstairs, with staggering steps and confused eyes.

"Amy, I finally meet you, why did you come up here alone? Come on, have a few more drinks with me!" One of the big men grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth.

Another big man caught a glimpse of Eddie lying on the ground, and a mocking smile appeared on his face: "Hey, why is there a man lying here? Could it be your old lover?"

"He is so skinny and looks useless. He should just play with us two brothers." The big men's laughter was vulgar and harsh.

Listening to their increasingly obscene words, Amy's expression turned cold, and a trace of disgust flashed in her eyes: "Go down and drink your wine, or go home and act like a spoiled child with your mother, don't get drunk here."

"Hmph, damn bitch!" Enraged by Amy's cold words, the two big men rushed forward, grabbed her hands and pressed her down on the table.

A cold light flashed in Amy's eyes, but her expression instantly turned into panic. She struggled desperately and said, "Let me go! Don't mess around!"

The vibration on the table was transmitted to the floor. Eddie curled his lips secretly: "I didn't expect this woman to be such an actress. If I hadn't heard that there was a test, I would have believed it."

He pretended to be woken up, snorted in dissatisfaction, and staggered out from under the table.

The two big men looked at him in surprise, but suddenly he opened his mouth wide and a lot of vomit spurted out, splashing on the two men.

Amy quickly seized the opportunity, dodged to the side and escaped.

The two big men looked down at their clothes stained with vomit, anger and disgust intertwined, their faces turned blue and they almost vomited.

"You bastard!" one of the violent men roared and kicked Eddie to the ground.

The two men surrounded him angrily, punching and kicking him, as if they wanted to vent all their anger.

Tired of fighting, they finally stopped, stood up panting, looked at each other with disgust, and hurried away.

At this time, they had lost all interest and were left with only embarrassment and anger.

After they left, Amy walked forward, covering her nose, and looked worriedly at Eddie who was lying on the ground groaning. After making sure that he was not dead, she breathed a sigh of relief.

She hesitated for a moment, but ultimately did not have the courage to help the messy Eddie clean up the mess. Instead, she went downstairs and instructed the old bartender.

"Is this your trick?" The bartender walked in and looked at the mess in front of him. His face turned pale and anger almost burst out of his eyes.

He tried to suppress his anger, his voice low and questioning.

"It was just a small mistake, and the result is good. I am 100% sure that this guy is just an ordinary person who came here for tourism."

Amy raised her eyebrows: "Or do you have any opinions?"

"."

The bartender took a deep breath, said nothing, lowered his head and walked towards Eddie.
