I became a weirdo in Marvel

Chapter 168 Godzilla

Chapter 168 Godzilla

Daisho Iwata is an ordinary worker at the Fukushima nuclear power plant. He is 35 years old this year and has no wife or children. He is still single.

As a result, he was often assigned to work the night shift.

He didn't care about this and was even happier because there were usually no leaders patrolling at night, so he could slack off, secretly watch videos of his idols, and cheer for them.

These little entertainments became the few bright spots in his life.

That night, the moon was bright and the stars were sparse, and the wind blowing through the nuclear power plant was very loud.

As usual, after finishing his work, Daisho Iwata found a secluded corner, took out his mobile phone, and started watching videos.

The idol girl on the screen had a sweet smile, which seemed to dispel the loneliness in his heart.

Suddenly, the ground shook violently.

Iwata Daisho's body and his vision were shaking violently, as if the whole world was shaking.

He staggered, unable to control his body, and fell to the ground. His cell phone slipped from his hand and fell to the ground.

The screen was still showing the beautiful dancing of the idol girls, but Iwata Daisho had no time to watch. Only one thought flashed through his mind: "Earthquake?"

He knew very well what an earthquake meant when working in a nuclear power plant - it was a harbinger of disaster and a shadow of death.

His body reacted almost instinctively. He stood up quickly, staggering left and right and trying to run towards an open space.

However, the next second, an unforgettable scene appeared before his eyes - the nuclear power plant buildings collapsed one after another, and the flames licked the earth like the tongue of a devil, and in the firelight, a giant monster that was more than ten stories high slowly appeared.

It looks like a lizard that has been magnified dozens of times, but its feet stand upright on the ground. Its lower limbs are thick and its upper limbs are as short as those of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Its skin is covered with bumps and is as hard as rock, exuding a suffocating atmosphere of fear.

Daisho Iwata's heart was beating so violently that it seemed like it was going to jump out of his chest. He had never seen such a horrible creature, not even in the most bizarre movies.

Every step the monster took made the earth tremble, as if the whole world was trembling under its feet.

"What kind of monster is this? How did it appear here?" Daisho Iwata's mind was filled with questions and fear.

He knew he had to escape, but his legs felt like they were filled with lead and he couldn't move.

The scene before me was too shocking, like a nightmare from which I could not wake up.

The monster let out a deafening roar and swept its huge tail across, destroying everything around it.

Daisho Iwata only felt a strong shock wave coming towards him. He was knocked to the ground with his ears buzzing.

Despite this, he tried his best to get up and ran away from the monster.

Every step he took was like a race against death. The fear in his heart was like an invisible hand, tightly grasping his heart and making it almost impossible for him to breathe.

Suddenly, a huge shadow enveloped him. Daisho Iwata turned around and the last scene of his life came into his mind—a giant foot as big as a mountain fell down.

Godzilla didn't react at all, as if he had stepped on an insignificant ant. The only thing in his mind was the fragrant nuclear reactor.

In the past few months, it has generally only been able to eat waste from nuclear reactions. It is already extremely hungry, and its fifty-meter-long body is full of emptiness, and it is in urgent need of filling its stomach.

Anything that stood in its way was crushed into pieces by its rage.

Soon the No. 1 nuclear power plant was completely reduced to ruins, but Godzilla was not satisfied and moved his target to the No. 2 nuclear power plant not far away. The Sakura government responded quickly. When Godzilla was on his way to the No. 2 nuclear power plant, several fighter jets roared in and fired countless missiles at this unprecedented monster.

The missiles hit Godzilla, splashing flames as bright as fireworks. It didn't cause much damage to Godzilla, but it was full of ridicule.

Godzilla was very annoyed by these fly-like fighters. A hint of irritation flashed in his eyes, and suddenly a blue light began to glow from his tail fin, and spread along the dorsal fin on his back to the back of his neck. His entire back was dyed with an extremely dazzling blue light.

Thump, thump, thump, thump, thump—

Godzilla opened his mouth wide and hot, dazzling blue flames spurted out, forming an extremely powerful column of light that instantly cut through the night sky and swept across as his head swung.

Without exception, those fighter jets were hit by its atomic breath and turned into even more brilliant fireworks in the air.

Godzilla raised his head and let out a long roar, his voice full of pride and joy. Nothing could stop him from eating anymore.

In stark contrast, the Sakura government was as silent as death.

After a long time, a message was finally sent to the most powerful country in the world.

"A monster as big as a tall building? I don't have time to care about these things now. Push it away. I'm not the only general in America!"

General Ross threw the documents in his hand aside, his heart filled with anxiety and uneasiness.

Bruce Banner, who might appear at any time, was like a sword of Damocles hanging over his head, making him terrified every moment.

Staring at the adjutant in front of him with bloodshot eyes, General Ross slammed his palm on the table and said in a thunderous voice: "Haven't you found out his whereabouts yet?"

The adjutant's body trembled slightly, obviously frightened by the general's anger.

He lowered his head, his voice trembling a little: "I'm sorry, I'm incompetent and failed to find out Bruce Banner's whereabouts. It's like he evaporated into thin air."

"I don't need to hear your excuses, I just want results!" General Ross's voice was like a knife, piercing people's hearts.

He panted, trying to calm himself down, and continued to ask: "Where's Betty? Has she arrived?"

The adjutant answered cautiously: "Miss Betty said her experiment is not finished yet."

"Which is more important, the experiment or her father's life? You have to bring her here even if you have to tie her up!" General Ross's roar almost shattered the air in the room.

"What are you still standing there for? Go quickly!" His voice carried an irresistible command.

"Oh, yes!" the adjutant responded quickly and turned around to leave.

"Wait a minute!" General Ross pressed his temple, a look of struggle on his face: "Don't bring her here yet, arrange for her to go to the next barracks."

"Yes." The adjutant nodded and quickly left the room.

After the adjutant left, General Ross leaned back in his chair like a deflated balloon, with a complicated expression, sometimes angry, sometimes hesitant.

He had been proud all his life and never bowed to anyone, but now he had to bow to a poor young man whom he once looked down upon. This humiliation was more painful than killing him.

General Ross would not surrender until the last step.

He clenched his fists and said to himself, "Bruce Banner, you better be as strong as they say you are."
