Chapter 90 Meeting
"Homelander, still alive?!"

Tony blurted out, looking more excited than Norman, or rather, more excited than anyone else present.

Because everyone else had already learned the news from Fury, only Tony, who was late, knew it for the first time at this time.

"Yes, I can't go into the details here. I will pass the information to Mr. Osborne."

Norman nodded to Fury as a token of thanks.

Seeing this, Tony didn't know what to say and felt relieved.

If Homelander unfortunately died, he would probably feel guilty for a while, after all, it was he who asked Harry to help.

"Everyone!"

Fury emphasized his tone, put his hands on the table, leaned forward, and said in a deep voice: "From this demon incident, there are more and more mysterious events threatening humanity and the earth. It has reached a point where we can no longer ignore it."

"These incidents cannot be solved by us alone or by a certain organization. We need to unite and gather all our strength to fight against such mysterious incidents! Therefore, I propose that we establish a superhero organization to deal with such incidents."

When these words were spoken, Tony almost laughed out loud. It turned out that this was what Black Egg was planning. He actually wanted to recruit all the superheroes under his command.

I have to say that Fury has a really good appetite and he is not afraid of overeating.

Except for Jessica, the young girl who was not very worldly-wise, the others all frowned.

Norman was the first to clearly express his refusal: "I'm sorry, Director Fury, your suggestion is very pertinent, but we are actually affiliated with the military, so the decision needs to be made by General Ross."

Mordo also shook his head: "I hate what the government has done from the bottom of my heart. I will not join you."

"Well said."

Tony clapped his hands and said without hesitation, "I don't like them either, so I decided to set up a superhero league called the Illuminati! What do you think, Mordo? Why don't you join the Illuminati and save the world with me?"

Mordo remained noncommittal: "I'll think about it."

Fury did not even stop Tony from poaching people in front of him. After they finished talking, he smiled and said, "Since no one wants to set up a new organization, can we at least cooperate? For example, share intelligence and make some deals that are beneficial to both parties. For example, if we encounter difficult problems, we can cooperate to fight against them."

This is Fury's real purpose. He deliberately made a proposal that was difficult for everyone to accept in order to pave the way for this cooperation.

The Osborn Group has a lot of technologies that SHIELD is interested in, and the magic in the hands of the wizard makes Fury envious.

"Of course that's no problem."

"me too."

"Master Mordo, what about you?"

Mordo nodded: "As long as it involves supernatural forces, you can ask me to take action."

"I heard that there are not only you but many mages. Can you also..."

"Sorry, no. Our duty as mages is to defend against more terrible enemies. My actions have violated the principles of mages. The Supreme Mage will never allow more mages to betray their duties like me."

"Sorcerer Supreme?" Tony was a little concerned about this title.

"The Sorcerer Supreme is the most powerful wizard in the world."

"understood."

Soon, this simple meeting came to an end.

Norman and others were going to take Harry back to Osborn Building. Tony wanted to go with them, but was declined by Norman.

"Why? Perhaps I can give you some advice on treating Harry."

"I don't recall Mr. Stark having any medical accomplishments."

"Hehe, I'm a genius, isn't it normal that I know everything?"

Tony smiled and spread his hands, saying, "If necessary, I can also build him a real body of steel." "No, thank you."

Norman said goodbye with a smile and left with Uncle Ben and the others.

Mordo also said goodbye and left. He sensed some unusual auras here, and he was afraid that he would not be able to control himself and cause trouble for those auras.

Soon, Tony and Fury were the only ones left in the conference room.

"Tony, you seem to have some issues with Osborn."

“I should say that I have issues with a lot of people.”

Tony shrugged. "Osborn is an excellent man, but unfortunately he went the wrong way. The reason why humans control the earth is not because of their own strength, but because they have learned how to use tools."

In his opinion, modifying the body is far less important than creating more weapons.

Their differences are also consistent with the two voices within the military, one side insists on carrying out the super soldier program, and the other side wants to develop cutting-edge weapons.

Fury naturally knew the differences between the two factions. He was neutral and would use whichever one was more useful. Who stipulated that super soldiers could not use super weapons?
Perhaps, the ultimate correct answer is for the two factions to join forces.

Fury didn't want to waste time on this question, and smiled and said, "Tony, your performance last time changed my opinion of you. Although you are very selfish, you also have a selfless side in your heart."

"Oh, you don't think I'm willing to sacrifice myself for others, do you?"

Tony sneered: "I just hate that demon, that's all."

"No matter what, you are a hero who saves the world. You deserve the title of Iron Man."

"Don't keep flattering me. Just tell me what you want to do."

Facing Fury, who had a black face and an even blacker heart, Tony was extremely alert in his heart.

Fury shook his head: "Okay, come with me. There is something I think it's time to give it to you."

Tony had a vague sense of anticipation in his heart, and then an ordinary-looking storage box was handed to him.

"Yes, you are right. These are the things your father Howard Stark left behind in SHIELD. Now, everything is handed over to you."

Tony took a deep breath and took the storage box with trembling hands. He thought he would be calm, but he still couldn't let go of his father.

"You can read it here, or take it home and read it slowly."

Fury left the room, leaving Tony alone, and went to a back room.

There was only a table in the secret room, and on the table was a piece of parchment.

As if sensing Fury's arrival, the parchment flashed red and a line of words appeared: [Sacrifice the demon vines in exchange for the answer to a question].

"Devil vines?"

Fury took a deep breath. He had indeed collected quite a few vines, but most of them had withered and lost their biological activity. They were not even worth studying, so it seemed worthwhile to sacrifice them to the parchment.

Anyway, since it's not a devil fruit, it shouldn't be a big problem, and he does have many questions he wants to figure out.

Fury had Agent May bring some vines over, all on parchment.

A familiar red light suddenly flashed, instantly illuminating the entire room. With a power that could not be ignored, it quickly spread out and covered all the vines above.

The parchment was like a person who had been hungry for many days, and it swallowed up all the vines in an instant.

After a brief calm, the parchment emitted an even brighter red light, and under the nervous gaze of Agents Fury and May, it slowly floated up, with two deep red dots slowly appearing on the front, like a pair of red eyes.

"Nick Fury, nice to meet you. You can call me Holy Lord."
