Here is an example: during the casting process, if the molten iron temperature is too high or the pouring speed is too fast, it is likely to cause pores or cracks in the casting.

In addition, during the cleaning process, if the sand and metal burrs on the castings are not removed completely, they may injure the workers' hands or eyes.

The third safety hazard in the foundry is the poor environmental safety.

The working environment in the foundry is very poor, with noise, dust, harmful gases and other pollution. These pollutions not only affect the health of workers, but may also cause fires and explosions.

For example, if the dust in the workshop is too high, it is easy to explode once it encounters open flames or electric sparks; and if the harmful gas in the workshop exceeds the standard, it will cause workers to be poisoned or suffocated. Because of the above hidden dangers, casting is a very difficult job and is very harmful to the human body.

While designing the casting equipment, Wang Haoran also designed noise reduction, sound insulation, dust removal and ventilation equipment for the casting workshop.

In addition, he also formulated strict process operating procedures, safety management systems and various emergency plans.
