Chapter 26 Some Supplements

As to whether the early Beidou monks knew about the Emperor and the Heavenly Court, I would like to add a little more here.

Many people must think that since the Beidou people know the Nine Secrets, and the Emperor is the last of the Nine Heavenly Lords, how could the Beidou people not know him?

In fact, this is another misunderstanding of falling into the God's perspective.

When was the first time in the original novel that the Emperor was mentioned as one of the Nine Heavenly Lords?
This was said by Xiaoyao Tianzun during the battle between Ye Fan and Xiaoyao Tianzun. Ye Fan was shocked when he heard this from Xiaoyao Tianzun.

I will go to the original text, in Chapter 1751 of the original book:
"The Emperor's Secret of the Word of All is indeed unparalleled, but it is not necessarily invincible."

"What?" Ye Fan was surprised. The "Jie" Secret in the Nine Secrets was actually created by the Emperor? No wonder it was so amazing!

"The last of the Nine Great Celestial Lords changed his name to Emperor Lord after he lived a second life. Not many people in the world know about this, but as someone who lived in the mythological era, how could I not know this?"

Before Xiaoyao Tianzun said this, Ye Fan, a great saint, had never heard that the Emperor had such an identity.

It can be seen that except for a very small number of people, the world does not know that the predecessor of the Emperor was the Nine Heavenly Lords.

Then there is the Heaven. Do the Beidou people know about the ancient Heaven?
Let’s go to the original text.

Chapter 337 of the original novel:
"This was built in imitation of the legendary ancient heaven." The Great Xia Prince introduced, and he was obviously a frequent visitor here.

"Why haven't I heard of the ancient heaven?" Ye Fan asked.

"More than 10,000 years ago, the Qing Emperor mentioned that he wanted to build a heaven and had outlined such a structure, but he eventually fell," Yao Yuekong explained.

"Could it be that the ancient heaven really collapsed?" Ye Fan had doubts in his heart.

"Impossible, the Green Emperor just mentioned that." The Great Xia Prince shook his head.

It is clearly stated here that all of the Beidou people's knowledge of the ancient heaven comes from a sentence said by the Green Emperor, and they know nothing else.

It can also be seen from here that the term "Heaven" has been circulating in the world, but no one knows what it means.

So I say again, don’t have a God’s perspective and think that Beidou people know everything. In fact, Beidou people are quite ignorant.

How ignorant are they? I quote a passage from the original text, Chapter 521:
"When the ancient royal family reaches the ultimate realm of cultivation and transforms into a human form, they are honored as emperors. This is the first time Ye Fan and his friends have heard of this. In the past, they have always been generally called the ancient kings."

In other words, the Beidou human race had never even heard of the Ancient Emperor until the ancient race came into the world, and only then did they know that there had actually been an Ancient Emperor in history who was comparable to the ancient emperors.

Some people may think that this is simply Ye Fan's lack of knowledge and does not represent Beidou people. Let me give you another example:
Chapters 378 and 379 of the original novel are too long to be included here, so I will briefly describe the content:
During the gambling stone battle, Ye Fan cut out the Holy Prince. At the scene, only Taoist Chilong recognized that he was the Fighting Holy Ape. The others, including the powerful people of the Ji family, had never heard of the Fighting Holy Ape clan.

Naturally, they had no idea that there was a Fighting Saint Emperor in ancient times.

Although Taoist Chilong knew the Fighting Saint Ape, he had never heard of the Fighting Saint Emperor.

He was considered to be a person who knew all the ancient tribes very well, but all he knew about the Fighting Saint Ape tribe was:
This clan is very small, and there were only two or three of them in the ancient times. They practice the Nine Revolutions Heavenly Skill and will be very powerful when they grow up.

Then, after the Holy Prince was cut out, the Taoist Red Dragon, the powerful Ji family and the third largest bandit joined forces to capture it and subdue it to become a war servant.

If you look at it from a God's perspective, doesn't it seem ridiculous?
The son of the Holy Emperor of Fighting is going to be taken as a war servant by three powerful men?

However, Beidou is like this now. Even the living fossils who know the most about ancient creatures have never heard of the famous Fighting Saint Emperor.

So as I said before, the Beidou people's knowledge of history is limited to the past 300,000 years, and they know nothing about anything before that. They have never heard of the Emperor, the Immortal Emperor, and the like.

Even the most knowledgeable Black Emperor has never heard of the Immortal Emperor. Can you believe it?
Yes, you read that right. Before the ancient tribes came into being, the Black Emperor had never heard of the Immortal Emperor.

Original text as evidence, Chapter 521:
"I have really never heard of the Immortal Mountain, but there is an Immortal Emperor in the ancient legends." The monkey thought for a long time before he came up with this almost imaginary character, but he was not sure whether he existed.

"The Immortal Emperor. How dare you use such a name?" Even the big black dog was shocked.

"It is said that the first generation owner of the Immortal Phoenix Medicine was the Immortal Emperor. According to legend, he almost surpassed the gods, and many people do not believe that he existed." The monkey shook his head.

Heihuang was shocked when he heard the title of the Immortal Emperor. He was shocked that someone dared to use the word "immortal" as the emperor's title. Obviously, it was the first time he heard the name of the Immortal Emperor.

I think after reading this you can understand how ignorant the people of Beidou are.

There is the South Gate of Heaven in Shenxu, but the people of Beidou believe that it fell from the fairyland.

In their perception, the mythical heaven is as illusory as the fairyland. It only exists in legends and it is impossible to confirm whether it really exists.

Let’s look at the 1001st chapter of the original novel. In this chapter, Ye Fan survives the Dao-slaying Tribulation. The Ancient Heaven Palace appears in the tribulation. The original text describes it like this:

"Ye Fan was silent for a while. Is there really an ancient heaven? What I saw before me was magnificent and boundless."

Here Ye Fan still regards the Heaven as from the ancient times.

It was not until Ye Fan returned to Earth and saw many relics of heaven that he slowly realized that there really existed an ancient heaven in history, but he could not be sure of the exact era in which this heaven was located.

After he heard the words "The Emperor is dead, the gods of all realms will be in chaos, the Heaven will collapse and fall apart in one day" on a relic of the Heaven on Earth, he realized that there was an "Emperor" in the ancient Heaven, and then this emperor died and the Heaven collapsed.

But he still doesn't know who this "Emperor" is.

It was not until Ye Fan entered the Ninety-Nine Dragons Mountain Immortal Land that the name of the Emperor appeared for the first time.

The Beidou people knew even less than he did, and even the ancient myriad clans did not understand it well.

Chapter 894 of the original novel:
"That green tripod has existed since the ancient times. Even the various tribes of the ancient races don't know how old it is. It often appears and disappears. Several ancient emperors have pursued it. The broken tripod has immeasurable value and is said to contain the secret of becoming an immortal."

After the opening of the Zhongzhou ancestral temple, the ancient tribes frantically searched for the Green Tripod. However, they did not know where the Green Tripod came from. They only searched for it because they believed that it contained the secret to becoming an immortal.

Judging from the plot after The Great Saint, among the ancient tribes, only those at the level of the Great Sage knew that the Green Cauldron belonged to the Heavenly Court, but they also did not know what era the Heavenly Court was from, let alone the Emperor.

It was not until the saints from outside the domain came to Beidou and told many secrets that the human race and the ancient races gradually learned that before the Immortal Emperor, there was an Emperor who founded the Heavenly Court, and this Emperor’s name was Emperor Zun.

In fact, it is not difficult to understand. After the collapse of Heaven, the Immortal Emperor ruled the world for a long time. He would definitely find ways to erase all traces of the Emperor and Heaven, engage in literary inquisitions and the like, tamper with history, and slowly make people forget the Emperor and Heaven.

This is a routine operation in changing dynasties. You must know that the Immortal Emperor was respected by the Emperor, but he betrayed the Emperor. This period of history is not glorious.

As the supreme god in the eyes of all ancient races, how could he have any stain on him?

Therefore, all traces of Heaven and the Emperor must be erased by all means.

It is normal that people in later generations, especially the creatures of Beidou, have never heard of the Emperor.
