A life of clearness

Chapter 1 Preface

Chapter 1 Preface

The usually deserted Liuguang Sword Sect rarely becomes so lively.

This was the second time Rong Qing had seen such a lively scene. The main sect disciples who were either staying at home to practice or going out for training had begun to return to the sect half a year ago, until today, when the grand ceremony began.

Liuguang Sword Sect is located at the North Pole of this world, with snow falling all year round, and the extreme cold prevents ordinary people from entering this place. But it is no problem for cultivators, and the people who are welcoming the grand ceremony at this moment are all powerful cultivators, so this bit of cold is naturally not worth mentioning.

Rong Qing lazily leaned on a huge exposed black stone. On top of the stone was a spiritual plant, with huge light golden leaves spreading freely, adding some color to this monotonous place. She wore the hood that came with her Taoist robe, and did not emit any pressure from her body, but the disciples passing by were all people with sharp five senses, so it was no reason for them not to notice it, and they all bowed down to pay their respects.

Rong Qing nodded slightly.

The disciples also keenly sensed Rong Qing's displeasure, and without saying much, they just said "Greetings, Uncle Yu" and went about their own business. Even if there were some who didn't know her, after seeing the fixed embroidery on her Taoist robe and the talismans wandering around the collar and cuffs of her clothes, they knew that this female cultivator was a senior of the same generation as the Sword Master in the Sword Sect, so how could they not dare to greet her.

Rong Qing's cultivation was under many restrictions and could not be spied on. But she knew that her cultivation of half a step into the godhood was nothing in the Liuguang Sword Sect. Even many of the disciples who passed by had higher cultivation than her, and were younger than her. Because this was the Liuguang Sword Sect. In the cultivation world, the Liuguang Sword Sect was a silent giant like a whale, which made people admire its strength and at the same time be wary. It had extremely strict requirements for the inheritance of its disciples, and talent, aptitude, character, comprehension and even luck were all indispensable. It was common to spend hundreds or even thousands of years to find a suitable disciple. This also led to the fact that only geniuses could make it in the Sword Sect.

But Chu Yuan was no ordinary genius. Cong Rongqing knew this the first time she saw him. The more they got to know each other, the more frightened she became, because of his ruthless eyes that were exactly the same as those of all the previous sword masters. It seemed as if he was born for the ruthless sword art.

Rong Qing followed the Sword Master Chongyu and spent some time with Chu Yuan. Chu Yuan was less than ten years old, only as tall as her waist, and had a rare beautiful appearance. But she could not feel any pity or love for him, she only felt a faint anger burning in her heart. Even if she tried her best to restrain herself, there was still a trace of anger burning her heart, causing her to suffer repeatedly.

But she was helplessly holding on to the last bit of hope. She humbly waited for the Sword Master Chongyu to change his mind. She was waiting on the way back to the sect, and she was waiting when the Sword Sect called back the scattered disciples. She had been waiting, but she had waited until today!

With the sky filled with auroras and witnessed by countless powerful monks, deep bell sounds rang out, announcing to the world that Chu Yuan would be the new disciple of Liuguang Sword Sect.

Everything is settled.

"What are you anxious about? Are you still worried about the matter of transformation?" The person who spoke not only had a clear voice, but also a flawless appearance. He took a step and stood beside Rong Qing.

Rong Qing was no longer surprised by the sudden appearance of someone around her, and she was even very happy to join the ranks of cultivators. Moreover, the person was very polite, and before arriving, he deliberately created space fluctuations so that Rong Qing could be prepared.

"You still have enough lifespan, and Chu Yuan will be half a step away from becoming a god in three hundred years at most. You can use him to take a step further by then." He said calmly, as if it was all a matter of course.

Rong Qing looked at his figure and appearance which were exactly the same as the Sword Master Zhongyu in the distance, and felt the aura which was so similar that she still could hardly distinguish it. She snorted and laughed, "You ask even though you already know the answer. I don't want to talk to you." She turned her head to the other side.

The eyes of Chongji Sword Master were cold and clear. Rong Qing felt that there was nothing he could not see through, but he never said it, or he did not care much. This was very smart, even ruthless.

Rong Qing had been standing there for a long time, and felt that she had nothing to say to Master Chongji, so she quickly turned around and walked away. The man who was left behind did not have any unhappy emotions, but just looked at his twin brother who was the same as him from a distance.

Twins can mostly communicate with each other, and Chongyu can more or less sense some of his secret thoughts. But there are always some things in the world that can only be thought about in the mind but not put into action, at least not now. Chongji smiled gently.

On the other side, Rong Qing returned to her room and put all the big and small things back into her mustard seed domain. After a while, the originally exquisitely decorated room became empty. She pasted the paper figures that took care of her daily life and were responsible for cleaning and tidying up on the door panel one by one. After doing all this, she walked outside the yard and simply placed a ban.

There is nothing to be reluctant about. Rong Qing summoned the flying sword from her sleeve. As a result of her skillful use of the sword-controlling technique, the flying sword flew out of her sleeve at an extremely fast speed. Rong Qing only took a step and stepped steadily on the enlarged sword. The man and the sword disappeared in an instant.

Because of the grand ceremony, there were not many people outside the Sword Sect, but that did not mean that the Sword Sect's guards were empty.

At least Rong Qing's speeding flying sword was stopped by the visitor with just a wave of his sleeve, and it hovered steadily in front of the mountain gate.

"Senior Sister, why do you suddenly want to leave the Sword Sect? Have you told the Sword Master?" The one guarding the mountain gate was a female cultivator with an air of an immortal.

In the Sword Sect, there were few female cultivators, and even fewer in the sect. Therefore, Rong Qing had a very good relationship with her, and she had been teaching most of Rong Qing's lessons, so Rong Qing never acted like a senior sister in front of her.

"Do I have to tell him everything?" However, Rong Qing was in a very bad mood right now, so her tone was inevitably much worse.

"That's not the case." Hong Fei sighed and then returned to the original topic, "Why did Senior Sister leave the sect?"

"Find someone."

"Who are you looking for?"

"Jingjing." Rong Qing sighed, and she seemed to hear Hong Fei's chuckle in her ears, "Looking for Jingjing again?"

"Then how long will it take Senior Sister to return to the sect?"

"At least half a year, more...it all depends on fate." With sincere eyes.

"Whatever," Hong Fei smiled and shook her head. Only when she smiled did she look like a girl next door, no longer so ethereal. The talisman paper beside her also recorded Rong Qing's "leave request" and flew to the general affairs hall.

Compared with other sects, the Sword Sect has always been quite pure and unpretentious. Fu Xin has never become flashy like a sparrow or a crane, and has only pursued the most essential need: speed.

After Rong Qing finished sighing, she flew away from Liuguang Sword Sect on her sword without looking back.

Hong Fei thought that she had just had a quarrel with the Sword Master again, and couldn't stand the loneliness and boredom in the sect, so she went out to find some fun. However, she didn't know that the rainbow light of her sword flew all the way to the coast of the South China Sea, and when she landed, her cultivation level and realm had dropped to the Jindan stage.

She chartered a spirit boat and headed south of the South China Sea. Few spirit boats took this route because it was indeed an extremely poor place. There were no spirit stone veins, nor any secret places worth exploring. Over time, it seemed to have been forgotten.

After getting off the boat, Rong Qing walked towards the city. The ground beneath her feet changed from sand and gravel to regular stone slabs. She had long since changed her Taoist robes into the clothes of a common girl. She had put her flying swords, talismans, and pills into her ring. As she calmly passed through the city gate, while the soldiers in the gate turned a blind eye, the last bit of spiritual energy in her body was finally exhausted. She had completely become a mortal from her realm to her cultivation.

Rong Qing walked into the crowd like a drop of water merging into a river.
