Chapter 54

Harry reluctantly took a step forward at John's urging, onto the steps.

With a bang, the wall closed again, and John and the others disappeared before his eyes.

The stairs spiraled up, and Harry hurriedly held on to the guardrail in a panic.

When reaching the top, a shiny oak door appeared ahead.

Harry knew it was coming, and although he was frightened, he mustered up the courage to knock on the door.

No one in the room responded, but the door opened quietly.

Harry pushed open a gap and asked in a low voice, "Professor Dumbledore, are you there?"

After waiting for a while, Harry didn't hear Dumbledore reply.

"The professor must have gone out. There is no one in the room now. I should come back next time. John and the others will understand me."

Harry made an excuse in his mind, turned around and was about to go back to the stairs.

But suddenly there were footsteps in the house, and then Dumbledore's voice sounded.

"Harry, is that you?"

The corner of Harry's mouth twitched, this was the first time he didn't want to hear Professor Dumbledore's voice.

He bit the bullet and replied, "It's me, Professor."

"Come in." Dumbledore said, "You should learn to take care of the elderly. Next time, you can speak louder. I almost didn't hear it just now."

It's good that you didn't hear me!
Harry sighed, opened the door and walked into the room and replied, "Understood, Professor."

He saw Dumbledore coming down the stairs on the opposite side of the house.

The portrait on the wall also looked at him curiously and whispered.

Harry's heart immediately reached his throat, and his hands and feet suddenly weighed heavily.

Just walking to Dumbledore's desk seemed to take all his strength.

"Harry, sit down."

Dumbledore sat across the table and gestured for Harry to sit down.

"Oh, good."

Harry sat down hurriedly.

"Would you like some candy?"

Dumbledore smiled and handed a plate to Harry, which contained small black balls.

Harry twisted one in his hand, just about to put it in his mouth.

The candy suddenly swayed and unfolded into a small bug.

Startled, Harry let go of his hand hastily.

The worm fell straight down and was about to slip away.

Dumbledore picked it up with his fingers calmly, and the candy returned to its original shape and turned into a small ball again.

"Oh, sorry, forgot to tell you, it's a little naughty."

Although Dumbledore was apologizing, he had a happy smile on his face.

He controlled the candy to fly into Harry's hand, and said, "Try it, it still tastes very good."

In order to prevent Harry from getting in the way, he took the first one and put it in his mouth.

It's just that the candy he picked up didn't move like Harry's one, and let him put it in his mouth obediently.

Harry nodded, gritted his teeth and put the candy in his mouth.

No weird taste.

But a strong sweet taste went all the way up from the tip of his tongue, and gave him a hard blow to the head.

Harry shivered all over, and the tension in his heart dissipated a lot.

Dumbledore asked with a smile: "How is it? Does it taste good?"

Harry wanted to say it wasn't delicious, but seeing Dumbledore's expectant eyes, he nodded against his will.

"If you like it, then take a few more."

Dumbledore shoved the plate in front of Harry.

"Thank you, Professor!"

Trembling, Harry grabbed a few and put them in his pocket.

"It's a pity that I finished eating the pastry John sold me, and you can't taste it anymore."

Dumbledore said regretfully.

"When you want to eat, you can buy some from him. It should be much cheaper if he sells it to you. If you can't finish eating, you can also send some to me."

"Oh, oh, yes," Harry replied.

"Do you understand?"

"Huh? What?" Harry replied in a daze.

Dumbledore smiled and blinked: "I said you can bring me some."

Harry looked at Dumbledore's mischievous expression, and the tension in his heart disappeared.

He didn't expect Dumbledore to have this side, so he couldn't help but smile and replied: "Understood, professor, I will send you some more in the future."

Dumbledore nodded in satisfaction, and said in a regretful tone: "John is good everywhere, but there is an elder who is not very serious, so he taught him badly, and he stared at my meager salary all day, but I still have to pay for it." Obediently leave it to him, but with your help in the future, it should be able to help me save a little more for my pension."

"You can't tell others these words, it's our little secret."

Harry nodded quickly, and he suddenly felt that Dumbledore in front of him was not as majestic as before, and became much more cordial.

Dumbledore said with a smile, "Okay, I'm done talking about my business, it's time to talk about your business, Harry, what are you looking for me for?"

"That's right, Professor."

Harry took a deep breath, racing through his mind the lines John had taught him.

"During the class, I found that many students from Muggle families are not used to the teaching in the school, and they learn many things very slowly."

"But professors have limited time, and it is difficult to solve their learning problems in a timely manner."

"If this continues, their foundation may have problems."

"And the gap between them and the children of wizarding families may widen, which will dampen their enthusiasm for learning and may cause psychological problems."

Harry finished reciting it in one breath, breathed a sigh of relief, and swallowed his saliva.

"So we want to set up an extracurricular tutoring class, and invite outstanding students from senior grades to tutor them."

"Professor, do you agree?"

Harry looked at Dumbledore expectantly.

"Nonsense, nonsense!"

A piercing roar sounded from the side, and Harry was startled.

He moved his gaze to the left and saw a portrait hanging on the wall.

It was a goateed wizard in a silver and green Slytherin costume, his face contorted with rage.

"Hogwarts has never had such a precedent, and those people shouldn't belong here, they should be expelled!"

"I think they have a good idea!"

An old witch with often silver hair retorted.

"What do you know!" the wizard shouted loudly.

"Quiet!"

There was a hint of anger in Dumbledore's voice.

Harry shrank his neck, and the fear in his heart slowly crept out again.

Dumbledore looked at Harry and said, "I agree with your idea, but are those senior students willing to help you?"

"We will pay them accordingly." Harry replied immediately.

"Well, okay, then I approve."

Harry said happily: "Thank you, Professor!"

"Do you have anything else to do?"

"and also."

Harry mustered up his courage and continued to tell about their plans to build an entertainment street in the school.

And told Dumbledore about the various advantages of Entertainment Street in detail.

"Nonsense, nonsense, you are destroying Hogwarts!"

The wizard roared angrily again.

The silver-haired witch didn't speak for Harry this time either.

But Dumbledore still agreed, and he added: "I will give you the vacant land next to the castle. You need to pay the school a rent every month, but it can only be opened on weekends. Do you agree?"

"okay."

Harry nodded. John had told him in advance that as long as Dumbledore let go of his promise, they could slowly figure out the future.

"Then do you have anything else to do?"

"Nothing."

Harry got up quickly and said that he felt that the wizard on the wall was going to eat him if he didn't leave.

"Then you go, please call John for me." Dumbledore said.

Harry's heart skipped a beat, and he hurriedly replied loudly, "It's none of his business, it's all my idea!"

"I know, I have other things to look for him." Dumbledore smiled and waved his hand, "Go, call him over."
