Hogwarts Gymnastics Professor

Chapter 10 The first day at Hogwarts

Chapter 10 The first day at Hogwarts

August [-]th, ten o'clock in the morning.

Putting on a handsome wizard robe, combing his hair into his favorite look, and carrying a suitcase, Lockhart stood in front of the fireplace, sprinkled a handful of Floo powder, and shouted "Hogwarts Vice Principal office".

A green flame billowed up, and his figure disappeared.

In the Hogwarts vice-principal's office, Professor McGonagall was staring at the fireplace with a serious face,

Today is the day when the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor Lockhart comes to the school to report.McGonagall clearly remembered that since Dumbledore rejected Voldemort as a professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, the position had consumed 37 professors.

Dumbledore had been using the position to deal with wizards who couldn't be dealt with legally, but as far as she knew, Lockhart was a good wizard.

He is brave, smart, kind and full of fighting spirit, and he has all the good qualities of the four major houses of Hogwarts. Although he was a little exaggerated when he was a student, it was just a normal performance of adolescents.

"Oh!"

A cluster of faint green lights flashed in the fireplace, and a young man walked out of the fireplace, quickly bringing Professor McGonagall's thoughts back to reality from the memories.

"A little more handsome than in the newspapers." Professor McGonagall is not a person who judges people by their appearance, but he still feels amazing.

Lockhart looked around and smiled gently at Professor McGonagall: "Professor McGonagall, long time no see."

"Long time no see, Professor Lockhart." Speaking, Professor McGonagall put on her glasses, which meant she had entered working mode.

"This is my clumsy work, my shallow opinion, please correct me." Lockhart handed his new book to Professor McGonagall, which was a basic courtesy for the first visit.

Professor McGonagall took the book and put it aside, then waved his wand, and a few very neat parchments flew out of the large cabinet in the office.

"Thank you, I'll look at it when I have time. Here is your class schedule, student list, and some regulations about the rights and obligations of professors. If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know."

"The timetable is flying in." Lockhart held the timetable in his hand and looked at it carefully, and then he put forward his own opinion.

"Professor McGonagall, your arrangement is very suitable, but I have some special needs, and I plan to adopt some special teaching methods, which may be more physically demanding, so I suggest separating my lessons from flying lessons that are also physically demanding .

In addition, I hope that more students will have the opportunity to learn high-end Defense Against the Dark Arts, so I want to put my elective grade requirements into A (pass). "

"Are there any more practical suggestions?" Professor McGonagall wrote down this point on the parchment with a quill, and asked again.

"I want to see student information, especially academic performance and student evaluation, which will affect my teaching arrangements."

Professor McGonagall glanced at him, waved his wand silently again, and a large pile of parchment flew out of the cabinet door again.

With a flick of his wand, Lockhart transformed his book into a long table.

Professor McGonagall understood, and stacked the parchments on the long table, "Very good transformation spell."

"It came down to me having a good teacher."

Professor McGonagall smiled slightly, and said: "This is the information you want, but there are no student evaluations, but if you need me, I am happy to give some private opinions, of course only limited to Gryffindor College."

"Thank you, this is my first time working in education, and I really need some life experience from an elder like you." After finishing speaking, Lockhart noticed that Professor McGonagall's face had long since lost its original seriousness.

Then Lockhart began to look at the report card, and familiar names kept passing by before his eyes.

Hermione Granger, all the perfect marks are really excellent;

Harry Potter, um...it can only be said that the potential is great;
Ron Weasley, with even more potential than Potter;
Neville Longbottom, apart from being good at herbalism, it can be said that the sky is the limit for him in other subjects...

While looking at the grades, Lockhart listened to Professor McGonagall's evaluation of some students.

He began to feel more and more that it was difficult to know the true level of the students based on grades and Professor McGonagall's personal evaluation. It seemed that a preliminary test was essential.

About half an hour later, Lockhart read the transcripts of all the little wizards and bid farewell to Professor McGonagall.Professor McGonagall asked Filch to take Lockhart to his own office.

Lockhart's office has three rooms inside and outside. The outermost layer is the office area, the middle layer is the rest area, and the innermost layer is the storage room or personal experiment area.

"Dong dong dong!" There was a knock on the door, and Lockhart, who was arranging the sundries, opened the office door while touching his wand.

To his surprise, it was not a guest but a house-elf who knocked on the door.

"Sorry, Professor, I hope I didn't disturb your rest, but I need to clean up your room now."

"clean up the room?"

"Yes, Professor, and we will provide cleaning services every day when no one is around."

"Can I cancel it?"

Lockhart also had a copy of Tom Riddle's diary in his hand. He didn't want to come back from get out of class to see an open diary and a 16-year-old Voldemort.

"As you wish, professor, you can call us to clean up or provide other services at any time. My name is Paige, and you can call me by my name at any time."

"Other services? Can I have some food, anything? I haven't had breakfast yet."

Lockhart asked tentatively.

"Of course, it's my pleasure."

With a "snap", the house-elf named Peppa disappeared in place. One minute later, there was another "snap", and the house-elf returned to the place with a basket.

In the basket were fried eggs, potato bread, lamb chops, and a glass of milk, along with a copy of the Daily Prophet.

"Sorry, Professor, according to the school rules, the headmaster forbids the house-elves to provide alcohol to everyone in the school except for banquets."

Page bent over to apologize, and moved the food to the table with magic.

Lockhart began to read the front page articles of the Daily Prophet while eating the classic English breakfast.

"I asked Sir Lockhart, when did you become number one in the wizarding world, and he said it was today", the illustration of the article is the scene where Lockhart knocked down a wizard in the ring.

During the meal, with Lockhart's consent, the house elf Page helped Lockhart make the bed, arrange the hangers, and put the books in the box in the right place, and put Lockhart's photo hung all over his office.

Of course, Lockhart kept Tom Riddle's diary in the iron box with him.

When Paige finished packing the basket and left, Lockhart decided to catch up on his sleep. These days, dueling duels during the day and exchanging duel experience with Pavlovsky at night, it was indeed a bit tiring, and he fell asleep until the afternoon.

With a snap of his fingers, Page delivered lunch, potato wedges with beef, and ice cream. After lunch, Lockhart felt a little sleepy. He needed to take a nap, and it was late in the evening.

Another snap of his fingers, Paige brought dinner, mashed potatoes with lamb, and mushroom soup. After dinner, Lockhart was a little bit full, so he decided to take a short nap, and the next morning came after he slept.

The next morning, with another snap of his fingers, Paige delivered breakfast, french fries, fried eggs and a glass of milk.

So comfortably, Professor Lockhart spent his first day at Hogwarts.
