Sudo Kyoichi had stopped before even reaching the finish line, while Takahashi and Fujiwara drove down the mountain in pursuit.

The sudden appearance of that LA today, both its entrance and its performance on the track, piqued their curiosity.

Fujiwara was slightly better off; he simply possessed a talent for racing. His participation in the race was merely accidental, and he didn't have much yearning for racing itself.

Takahashi, however, was the opposite. As a medical student, his academic workload was already heavy, yet he still managed to pursue racing. No one would believe it wasn't true love.

He developed an unprecedented curiosity about Qi Shan.

Neither of them held high hopes, considering the strength displayed by the LA, which suggested the driver could completely disregard them.

But to their surprise, they spotted the familiar car in the parking lot of a convenience store at the foot of the mountain.

The car was parked quietly, and a young man leaned against it, looking in their direction.

They quickly parked their car beside it and got out.

Qi Shan's face didn't show much emotion, but Takahashi first examined the car, then looked at Qi Shan, and smiled, "Brother, your entrance was a bit too dramatic. This is just a friendly race, basically a small mud pit. Suddenly, a dragon jumps out and scares everyone!"

Qi Shan said, "Takahashi Ryosuke, a famous name, I know you! You've also been quite the talk lately, Fujiwara Takumi. The gutter cornering technique has been widely discussed. It's truly impressive to see it in person today!"

Fujiwara was a little shy and didn't say anything.

Takahashi smiled and said, "That's not fair. You know our names, but we don't know yours!"

Qi Shan nodded and took out two business cards. "My name is Qi Shan. I'm an investor. Recently, a car manufacturing company under my name produced a new supercar model. I tested it out, and it wasn't bad, so I had the idea of forming a racing team. Your skills are excellent. Would you like to give it a try? Fujiwara?"

"I'm sorry, I'm not too interested in racing. My dad asked me to come today, and I'm usually very busy. The shop needs me, so I don't think I'll have time," Fujiwara Takumi refused directly, as expected.

Letting other racers drive their own car so casually is only seen in public training grounds because the cars belong to the club and have nothing to do with them personally.

"Are you serious?"

Takahashi Ryosuke confirmed again. Qi Shan made a gesture of invitation. "The downhill on Mount Akina probably only takes you about three minutes, but in my car, it probably only takes two minutes. The round trip should be enough time for us to wait five minutes!"

Seeing Qi Shan's straightforwardness, Takahashi Ryosuke nodded to Fujiwara Takumi and went to the driver's side to open the door.

Takahashi Ryosuke originally thought the key was already in the slot, but after closing the door, he was surprised to find that the interior of this car was completely different from what he had seen before.

The driver's seat was incredibly clean. Besides the steering wheel and the clutch, accelerator, and brake pedals, there were no other buttons, not even a keyhole.
