American Comics: BOSS Invasion
#47 - Fake Super Girl
On the bridge, Hisoka stood on the roof of a car, a hint of disappointment in his eyes.
"Is this the extent of the so-called Supergirl? Or is it that…"
Hisoka appeared behind Supergirl, grabbing her hair with his right hand and slamming the newly risen Supergirl back to the ground.
"…I'm not worth your full strength?"
Thump!
Supergirl's face smashed directly into the concrete, sending gravel flying.
Supergirl was enraged, abruptly swinging her fist backward.
Hisoka lightly moved back a foot, just enough to dodge the fist.
Taking advantage of the momentum, Supergirl flew up, her eyes burning with heat vision that pierced directly through Hisoka's chest.
Hisoka's illusion gradually disappeared, and an unscathed figure appeared on the roof of another car not far away.
"Is it this again? How boring!"
The heat vision continuously chased after him, Hisoka continuously flashing, leaving behind trails of illusions.
The vision struck the ground, plowing out ravines, while also slicing through a large number of cars, splitting them in two.
Hisoka stood on top of a bus, touching his chin with his right hand, a strange arc appearing at the corner of his mouth.
"As expected, astonishing physical qualities, strength and speed are commendable, and even has the cheating attack method of heat vision. The defense is equally amazing, seemingly born so powerful, truly a beautiful yet unripe fruit."
Hisoka narrowed his eyes, unable to resist licking his lips.
Supergirl was taciturn, her eyes fixed on Hisoka, seemingly searching for his weakness.
Hisoka casually stood there, seemingly looking forward to being attacked.
"Not coming to attack? What are you hesitating about?"
Hisoka flipped his hand, a deck of playing cards appearing in his palm, slightly bending as the cards were ejected one by one.
Drawn by a certain force, the playing cards drew a moon-shaped arc above, obediently landing in his other palm.
Seemingly provoked by Hisoka's attitude, Supergirl suddenly charged over.
Hisoka easily turned around, instantly disappearing.
Supergirl couldn't stop her momentum, smashing the bus into a complete wreck with a single punch.
Hisoka appeared in mid-air, eerily hovering.
A hint of doubt in his eyes, he said, "Why is there always a sense of disharmony? You seem to only have speed and strength, but don't know how to use it, like… a brute who hasn't received training."
"But that shouldn't be, according to the data, you should have rich combat experience. Strange, what exactly is wrong?"
Supergirl remained silent, emitting a heat vision.
Hisoka only slightly tilted his head, letting the vision pass by, his body not moving in the slightest.
The vision bombarded the bridge pier, instantly melting through a horizontal beam.
Bang!
Suddenly losing its support, the other side of the steel pillar couldn't withstand the enormous pressure and instantly twisted.
The upper part deformed, the right side of the beam collapsed, and several pillars broke one after another, falling down with a crackling sound.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Heavy objects crashed to the ground, directly flattening the vehicles on the ground.
The onlookers were panicked, screaming and running away in all directions.
Hisoka slightly raised his head, glancing at the deformed bridge pillar above, then looked at Supergirl again.
"So that's how it is."
The smile on Hisoka's face gradually cooled down, and the playing cards in his hand transitioned even faster.
"The data shows that you are a superhero with the responsibility of saving the public. But just now, clearly several people died tragically, yet you were indifferent."
"Then the question arises, either the data or you, one of them must be wrong."
"Judging from the reactions of the surrounding people, it is obvious that you are the one who is wrong, then can I assume that you are actually not Supergirl…"
Hisoka suddenly flicked out a playing card, the edge of the card radiating a faint white light, disappearing from sight like lightning.
"…but just a bad imposter."
Supergirl groaned, slamming onto the ground with a thud.
On her towering chest, a playing card was embedded halfway, a blood-stained spade A fluttering in the wind, like a sharp blade.
Supergirl clutched her chest and got up, her expression resolute, she endured the pain and pulled out the playing card, drops of blood splattering on the ground.
Hisoka floated over gently, slowly landing.
"Is it a fake body, or a bad imitator?"
Hisoka tilted his head. "Interesting, you don't seem to have any extra emotions showing. Your aura is both calm and numb, as if someone has tampered with you."
"Have you lost your own thinking? No, it should be that your thinking is restricted."
"Who exactly are you?" Supergirl spoke for the first time, her voice unusually cold.
"Oh my! How rude, I actually forgot to introduce myself."
Hisoka put his left hand in front and his right hand behind, bowing slightly with a strange smile, "My name is Hisoka, I am a magician. I originally came tonight to find Supergirl, but I didn't expect to have found the wrong target."
"If it doesn't matter, a mere imposter actually has such strong physical qualities, which makes me even more look forward to the real Supergirl."
Hisoka narrowed his eyes slightly, his expression full of longing, muttering, "I really hope she will be a worthy and deadly enemy."
Supergirl stared at him coldly, without saying a word.
Hisoka smiled and said, "Although there are some mistakes, it doesn't matter. Although you are very strong, I predict that tonight you will end in my hands."
Supergirl leaned forward and threw a punch, Hisoka, contrary to his usual behavior, did not dodge, but raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
Supergirl suddenly felt a strong pulling force behind her, instantly dragging her back to the original place.
"This lady, you don't seem to believe in my predictive abilities, so let me prove it to you."
Hisoka reached behind him and took out a handkerchief, pinching the two corners to show Supergirl the front and back.
Then he suddenly threw the handkerchief out, instantly turning into 13 playing cards, fluttering and scattering on the ground.
As if specially placed, each one was face up.
"There are 13 cards here, from A to 13, all are hearts, you can choose any number you like, and then secretly remember it in your heart."
Supergirl was a little dazed, why did the fight suddenly turn into a magic trick?
Hisoka's expression was cheerful, he stretched out one hand, making gestures while speaking.
"Have you chosen? Then add four to that number, then multiply by two, subtract six, then divide by two, and then subtract your number, what will the result be equal to?"
Now not only Supergirl, but even the surrounding people who boldly stayed to watch, as well as the news reporters hovering in the air, were a little dazed.
"But I knew the answer you calculated from the beginning. That is…"
