#716 - Raven: Reporter? I think you're here to cause trouble!
Harry and Mark were stunned by Snape's words.
Was this something a teacher should say?
Harry glared at Snape, "Professor Snape, you should apologize to Hermione."
Mark also stood up and said, "You've gone too far, Professor."
"Let me think."
Snape stared at the two of them, his voice sounding somewhat soft and greasy.
"Gryffindor loses fifty points, and Potter and Patrick each get a detention. Now, gentlemen, get to your classes. No lateness in my classroom, or you'll have detention for a whole week."
Harry's ears were ringing after hearing Snape's words.
This was simply unfair and bastardly!
At this moment, Harry really wanted to cast a spell on Snape and turn him into countless slimy, dirty slug fragments.
Mark also wanted to make a move, but seeing Peter not far away, he had to suppress his thoughts.
Together, the two walked past Snape, indignant, and arrived at the back of the dungeon classroom.
Harry threw his bag heavily on the desk.
"I swear, one day I'll make him apologize to Hermione!"
Harry said resolutely.
Mark opened his mouth, but said nothing.
The words "Potter Stinks" on his badge flashed brightly.
Harry could see it even from the other side of the classroom.
After the lesson started, Harry sat in his seat glaring at Snape, his mind filled with fantasies of all sorts of disasters befalling Snape.
He really wished he knew how to cast the Cruciatus Curse.
If he could do that, he would make Snape lie on his back, twitching, struggling, and wailing like that spider.
"Antidote!"
Snape said, while looking around at the whole class.
His cold black eyes gleamed with an unpleasant light.
"You should all have your potion recipes ready now. I want you to brew them carefully, and then we'll choose someone to try it out."
Snape's gaze met Harry's.
Harry knew clearly what was going to happen—Snape wanted to poison him.
"Clang!"
Harry picked up his cauldron, rushed to the front of the classroom, and slammed the cauldron onto Snape's greasy head.
"Potter, perhaps you can come up and demonstrate."
Snape's words interrupted Harry's fantasy.
In reality, he was sitting in his seat, not moving at all.
Harry stood up, somewhat bewildered.
He actually didn't know how to demonstrate.
He was completely unprepared for today's lesson.
Just then, the door of the dungeon classroom was knocked, interrupting the confrontation between Harry and Snape.
It was Colin Creevey.
He walked into the classroom sideways, flashed a smile at Harry and Mark, and then walked towards Snape's podium.
"What is it, Creevey?"
Snape asked him impatiently.
"Sorry, sir, I need to take Harry Potter and Mark upstairs."
Snape's gaze dropped from his hooked nose to stare at Colin.
Seeing Snape's unkind gaze, the smile disappeared from Colin's face.
"Potter, and Patrick, they both still have an hour of potions class."
Snape said coldly to Colin, "They can go over after class."
Colin's face instantly turned red.
"Mr. Snape, Mr. Bagman wants Mark and Harry to come."
He said somewhat nervously, "All the champions need to have their photos taken."
"Very well!"
Snape said sharply to Harry, "Potter, leave your things here. I want you to come back later and test your antidote. And Mark, you go take your photos!"
"Sorry, Mr. Snape, Harry has to take his things with him."
Colin said anxiously, "All the champions—"
Snape glared at Colin, "Potter, take your bag and get out of my sight!"
Harry slung his bag over his shoulder, stood up, and walked towards the door with Mark, his expression unchanged.
As he walked past the Slytherins' tables, the words "Potter Stinks" flashed at him from all directions.
This made him even angrier and more depressed.
After Harry and Mark entered the room, they saw Raven and the others.
Several desks were joined together and covered with a long piece of velvet.
Behind the velvet-covered desks were several chairs, one of which was occupied by Ludo Bagman.
He was talking to a woman Harry had never seen before.
The uniquely styled woman was wearing a magenta robe.
Viktor Krum stood sullenly in the corner, as always, not talking to anyone.
Raven was talking to Fleur.
Fleur was smiling happily, shaking her head constantly, her silver hair flashing with dazzling light.
Loki was talking to a pot-bellied man.
The pot-bellied man was holding a large black camera that was emitting wisps of smoke.
Tom was standing with his arms crossed in front of his chest, looking at the scenery outside the window.
Bagman saw Harry and Mark coming over and quickly walked over.
"Harry, Mark, come over quickly. There's nothing to worry about, just a wand weighing ceremony."
Mark asked in surprise, "Wand weighing?"
"Yes, and then take some photos. This is Rita Skeeter."
Bagman introduced the woman in the red robe next to him, "A reporter from the Daily Prophet, planning to write a few short articles about the Triwizard Tournament."
Rita Skeeter's eyes were fixed on Mark and Harry, "Perhaps not short articles."
Then he turned his gaze to Bagman, "Mr. Bagman, would you mind if I talked to the four Patrick children? Their father is Peter Patrick, rumored to be a major financial backer of the Ministry of Magic and a close friend of Minister Fudge."
Bagman coughed awkwardly, "Mr. Patrick is a good man. If Raven and the others agree, I think you can interview them."
Raven and the four of them did not refuse and were pulled into a separate room by Rita Skeeter.
She took out a green quill and a roll of parchment.
She moistened the quill with saliva, and the pen automatically began to write on the parchment.
Rita Skeeter turned her gaze to Raven, "Very well, let's start with Miss Patrick first. Why did you decide to sign up for the competition?"
"I didn't."
Raven immediately stated that she didn't do it herself.
But she was stunned to find that the green quill wrote a line on the parchment.
"Raven Patrick is the eldest daughter of the Patrick family. Having grown up in a family of magicians since childhood, she has a rather complicated relationship with her father. She both loves him madly, which may be a kind of Oedipus complex, and hates that her father looks down on her identity as a woman. So, in order to avenge her father, Raven decided—"
Raven glanced at the content written by the quill, and then looked at her in shock, "What are you doing?"
"It's nothing, don't mind the pen."
Soon Rita Skeeter turned her gaze to Loki and asked, "Loki, would your father tell you about the challenges of the Triwizard Tournament?"
Loki thought for a while and said, "Probably not, Dad is very strict with us."
The quill wrote on the paper: "In Loki Patrick's eyes, his father is a very strict person. He has hunted countless dark creatures, but also has a set of beast-like training methods for his children."
Loki: "?!"
After questioning Loki, Rita Skeeter asked Mark: "Mark, do you think your father is cheating behind the scenes? Why do you think he would do this, is it to let you win the championship?"
Mark said to her dissatisfiedly, "No, it's not Dad, my father has nothing to do with this."
He really wanted to ask if this reporter was deliberately looking for trouble.
At the same time.
Standing outside the school, Peter did not know that Rita Skeeter had written him as the big villain. At this time, he was comforting Hermione.
"It's okay, Miss Granger."
While comforting her, Peter used Runic magic to eliminate the buck teeth in Hermione's mouth.
Hermione touched her buck teeth, adjusted her emotions, and thanked Peter with red eyes, "Thank you, Mr. Patrick."
"You're welcome."
Peter gently patted Hermione on the shoulder and said to her, "If you still feel uncomfortable, maybe I can ask Headmaster Dumbledore to help you ask for leave."
Hearing that Peter could help her ask for leave, Hermione immediately became excited and completely forgot about the previous "beaver teeth."
"Mr. Patrick, can you help me ask for leave to visit the farm?"
Hermione had the idea of going to Peter's farm again.
Peter was stunned, then pondered for a moment, and said, "It should be possible."
A few minutes later, watching Hermione get into the car happily, Peter fell into silence.
He suspected that Hermione was playing tricks on him.
"You look like this girl's idol, she's a little obsessed with you."
Gwen, standing next to Peter, said to him.
"Um hum, I am the idol of many people. My best-selling book is very popular here."
Peter looked at Gwen's mouth moving and asked her, "What are you eating? Gwen."
"Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans from the magical world, it is said to have various flavors, rotten eggs, banana, candied fruit, cotton candy, vomit, lemon candy, earthworm flavor—"
While talking, Gwen suddenly stopped, with a strange expression on her face.
"Oh no! I seem to have eaten a booger-flavored bean!"
Peter: "."
Night, Patrick Farm.
Peter was in the study, looking at the Triwizard Tournament challenge design he had already written, with an unkind smile on his face.
For the first challenge, let these naughty children of his experience the hell difficulty.
The first challenge he set up was the same as the original Triwizard Tournament challenge, setting up several different scenarios for Raven and Harry to draw lots.
Whichever scene they draw, they will go in as a champion.
