Chapter 327: Homeland of the Orcs: The Great Transfer [Part 1]
Titans.
Guardian Dragons.
Elves.
Humans.
Dwarves.
Trolls.
Elemental beings.
Burning Legion.
Well of Eternity.
Words flashed through Helder's mind once more. She was analyzing and pondering the vast historical records bit by bit.
"Is there a star-like central hub?" Helder murmured softly to herself.
Unfortunately, after being burned once, Agatha had found a way to protect her memories from being leaked. She had even taken precautions on a soul level.
Perhaps with the help of that mage, Aegwynn.
The Burning Legion wanted to obtain that planet, to obtain that incredible energy, and to purify it.
The defeated Bakal was exiled and sealed in a spatial coordinate known only to the Guardian Dragons.
Agatha had already established contact with the mage faction of that star. If she was willing, she could use it as a stepping stone to establish relationships with Aegwynn and other forces.
What's worse, that star, like Midgard, was protected by a powerful barrier. Even though this barrier had been opened and damaged in the past, after ten thousand years, even if it hadn't fully recovered, it was still operating normally and stably. Without a portal, those with an energy index reaching a certain standard would be refused entry into that world.
This was a restriction imposed by the Titans.
Helder found it hard to believe that Agatha would remain indifferent after learning about the powerful energy existing on that star.
A contract cannot be violated, but it can be delayed. At least until she felt she could face Helder, Agatha's most likely course of action would be to sever contact with her and try to seize that energy before she could.
And it was certain that Agatha would also use the power of the natives to specifically counter her, thereby gaining an advantage in the soul battle.
Under the soul connection, all memories and thoughts would be perceived by both parties.
In the darkness, Helder opened her eyes, seemingly seeing the humanoid beings who called themselves Orcs wandering outside through the thick tent.
"Do I need an invincible and powerful army?"
...
Time flowed by quickly. With a goal in mind, the Frostwolf Clan quickly joined up with the Warsong and other clans that had come.
The moment he saw the members of the Frostwolf Clan, Grommash, the chieftain of the Warsong Clan, changed his expression: "Garadar, it seems you have been contaminated by the power of the Evil Dragon."
Garadar nodded with a bitter smile, looking at his faintly green skin: "Yes, the shamans in the clan have lost the ability to communicate with the elements, and our souls have been reserved by it."
Once infected with the power of the Evil Dragon, it was equivalent to being marked by the Evil Dragon, and even the soul would be imprisoned and bound after death.
This was the Orcs' impression and fear of the Evil Dragon.
Especially the shamans who could communicate with the elemental spirits, they regarded contamination as a deadly poison. And one of the characteristics of being contaminated was that the skin all over the body would turn faintly green, and even red, from brown.
The mental state of the infected Orcs would be extremely unstable, like a bomb that could explode at any time, injuring the surrounding clansmen.
"Don't worry, I will ask the High Priestess to help you remove the power of infection," Grommash patted Garadar on the shoulder, signaling him to follow.
"High Priestess?" Garadar looked surprised. Shamans held a pivotal position in every clan. They generally did not serve as the chieftain of a clan, but as advisors to the chieftain, they could be said to be the actual power holders of the clan. They possessed the ability to communicate with the elements and could use the power of the elements, and some powerful shamans also had the ability to predict the future. They would plan for the future of the clan and were regarded as the soul of a clan.
And those who could be called High Shamans were, without exception, the exceptionally powerful top shamans in the Orc clans.
"She came to the Warsong Clan a year ago. In this year, she has shown great power and unparalleled wisdom. Her eyes can see through the future and have a strong binding force and control over those elements. She conquered all the shamans who dared to challenge her," Grommash said with a face full of pride.
For the Warsong Clan, having such a powerful High Priestess was something they could never have imagined. Not only the shamans, but the entire Warsong Clan was willing to listen to her.
Including Grommash himself, the chieftain.
"She?" Garadar asked doubtfully.
"Yes, High Priestess Helder. The powerful one who controls all the elements!" Grommash said slowly. They had now arrived at the edge of the camp.
Powerful clans surrounded each other in a circle, guarding a circle of tents in the center.
That was the residence of the shamans, and the tallest and most luxurious tent in the center was the residence of the High Priestess Helder.
...
"High Priestess, please show your power and eliminate the Evil Dragon's contamination for the warriors of the Frostwolf Clan. Like the Warsong Clan, they will become the most powerful warriors under your command," Standing in front of Helder's tent, Grommash requested Helder inside the tent.
A ray of brilliant golden light descended from the sky, enveloping Garadar and the three sons and wife who were with him. The power was so warm that it made their bodies feel warm and also seeped out wisps of green aura from under their skin.
The skin of Garadar and the others was returning to normal at a speed visible to the naked eye.
When the light dissipated, Garadar was surprised to find that his condition had never been better. Even the wounds on his body were forcibly restored under that power.
He even felt that his life had been strengthened a bit.
This method made Garadar feel a bit of awe for the mysterious High Priestess in the tent.
The status of shamans in the Orc group was to receive due respect.
...
"According to the High Priestess, the Evil Dragon was originally the Life Dragon, representing life, but it was infected with a power of evil energy, causing its life aura to mutate.
Evil energy was taking its life, but as a Life Dragon, it was immortal. So it mutated into an undead Death Dragon. In the past, it could bring life, health, and healing to people, but now, it can only bring pollution, plague, and toxins to all life."
Grommash and Garadar walked in the camp, explaining everything he had learned from Helder to him: "If you want to truly kill it, you must first defeat and dismember it, and use the power of the elements to disperse its limbs in all parts of the world. Only in this way can it be prevented from doing evil once and for all."
