"You call this evolution?" Johnny, surrounded by flames, couldn't help but retort as he looked at Doom, who clearly resembled some kind of mutated aberration.

This mutation is even more extreme than Ben Grimm's.

At least Ben still looks somewhat human, but Doom's current form is all about horror and dread! It's more outrageous than the bizarre aliens in the comics.

Thump!

Just as he finished speaking, Johnny was sent flying by a sudden force that erupted from the air, scattering flames along the way, like a flickering candle in the wind.

"You should feel awe, Johnny!" The mutated Doom, retracting his hand covered in furry tendrils, spoke in a sharp voice that pierced directly into the mind, only then slowly echoing.

"Reed!" Ben Grimm's clumsy body suddenly and uncontrollably swung around, landing a punch on Reed, but Susan, with her heightened vigilance, blocked it with a psionic shield.

An invisible barrier stood between her and Ben. Ben's football-sized fist was imprinted on the intangible shield.

"Are you alright, Ben?" Susan asked quickly, watching Ben's panicked expression as she reinforced the psionic shield.

"I'm not alright! The fire of anger within me is boiling and rising!" Ben's face contorted in struggle, as he told the others to get back, then leaped high into the air, clenching both hands into fists and slamming them down heavily on the two of them.

The hemispherical barrier, under Ben's power, actually rippled with circles of transparent waves, shaking violently. Susan, supporting the shield, felt a throbbing pain in her head and a weakness in her body. Although she quickly recovered, she was still somewhat dizzy. That punch felt like it had hit her forehead, making her brain buzz.

"Reed!" Susan shouted.

"I'm trying to figure it out!" Reed's body instantly became flexible, his arms shooting forward like ropes, like two horizontal bars, sandwiching Ben, who had just landed, then his arms recoiled, like two ropes with stones tied to the ends hitting an upright pole, wrapping around and around the pole with inertia.

Ben was now wrapped in layers upon layers of Reed's rubbery arms.

"He's struggling fiercely. What did you do to Ben, Victor?" Reed's rubbery skin still had some tactile sensation, able to feel Ben's vigorous struggles.

"What did I do? I merely stirred up the dissatisfaction he holds deep within his heart towards you. The boiling rage controls him; he is now just a beast named Anger." Hearing Reed's words, the iron mask still embedded in Doom's face revealed a smug smile, as if it had come to life.

"Can you knock Ben out, or make him wake up?" Reed's heart sank upon hearing this, and his eyes unconsciously glanced at his girlfriend.

"I can try, but I can't guarantee it will work," Susan said through clenched teeth. She condensed her psionic power into a cone and stabbed it towards Ben Grimm. Ben faltered under the impact, and his struggling force instantly weakened.

"It's working!" Reed said in surprise.

Susan once again carefully controlled her psionic power to strike Ben, wanting to knock him unconscious while also trying to be mindful of Doom's possible obstruction and attacks.

However, to her surprise, Doom remained completely silent throughout the entire process, seemingly like a passerby, watching their actions with appreciation. If it weren't for that unsettling smile on his iron mask, perhaps Susan's heart could have been a little more at ease.

"Damn it!"

However, Susan quickly understood why Doom didn't stop them, because Ben, under her stimulation, suddenly became even more violent after a moment of weakness and quiet.

If the previous Ben still possessed his own will and was aware of what he was doing, then the current Ben felt like a beast completely consumed by bestiality, having lost his reason and thought.

Susan felt a melting fire of anger that nearly invaded and infected her brain along with her mental power. Even with just a moment's contact, the fire that directly burned the deepest dissatisfaction in her heart almost made her turn around and use all her psionic power to heavily strike her boyfriend Reed, venting her inner dissatisfaction and anger towards him.

"Oh, oh, oh!"

Reed cried out repeatedly, his extended arms snapped back, and he desperately patted a part of his arm as if he had been burned. There was a patch of red [burn] that was expanding from nothing.

The [burn] came from Ben's body. His rocky body turned red, and between the stones under his skin, there was a faint glow and flow of magma-like high temperature. Clusters of red flames, like a prairie fire, emerged from under Ben's rocky skin, coating his body with a layer of red flames, making him look like a super-sized version of the Human Torch with a different color.

"Don't touch those flames," Reed said urgently to his girlfriend Susan.

"I have to thank you, Susan. It was your attack that caused Ben's will to completely lose control. Originally, he could have held on longer. Maybe he could have held on until the clever Reed came up with a way to calm him down.

But I didn't expect that not only did you fail to save Ben, but you also directly gave him a ticket to hell. This saved me a lot of trouble." Doom's leisurely voice sounded from the side, with a strong infectiousness, easily stirring up the emotions deep within people's hearts.

At least Doom's words immediately made Susan and Reed's faces turn pale, and they couldn't help but fall into deep self-blame and remorse. Especially when they saw that the alienating erosion was indeed becoming more serious for Ben, this self-blame and remorse became even deeper, to the point where it almost made them unable to extricate themselves.

Susan even became discouraged, blaming herself to the point of no longer resisting Ben's attacks.

"Hey, what are you doing!" Just as Ben's attack was about to land on Susan, a streak of fire roared in from afar, directly colliding with Ben, who was emitting red flames.

The high temperature made Susan subconsciously use a barrier to block in front of her, and also sheltered her boyfriend Reed behind her. The raging flames exploded in the collision, spreading in all directions, splitting to both sides when they hit the semi-circular barrier, like a pair of unfolded flaming wings.

Johnny, who had rushed back, stabilized his swaying body in mid-air and frowned as he discarded some of the red flames that had contaminated his flaming body. That blood-like color made him feel unsafe.

What made his whole body tingle next was that those red lights that he had cut off from his flaming body actually turned around and devoured the flames that fell from him, growing a little larger and spontaneously gathering together on the ground, like slime, seemingly slowly, but moving quickly, merging into Ben's body.

At the same time, Johnny felt that he had lost a little of his body's power. Although the lost power was insignificant and extremely weak, this loss was a permanent loss.

"What the heck is going on! Ben can actually devour my power!" Johnny landed on the ground from mid-air, standing next to his sister, complaining angrily.

This behavior is simply unethical! If you lose part of your power every time someone attacks you, then if the battle lasts a little longer, wouldn't you end up with nothing but the inability to lift a finger, and you can only lie on the ground waiting to die?

If you think about it more terrifyingly, if Ben mutates again, wouldn't he be able to not only swallow power, but also plunder their spirits and lives in reverse?

This kind of enemy is simply a combination of a hedgehog and a turtle!

"It's obviously Victor's doing. We must restore Ben to his senses." Reed also finally got rid of the guilt and unease deep in his heart towards Ben, and he reminded Johnny: "Don't listen to what Victor says. His voice has a strong bewitching quality, which can easily stir up the emotions deep in people's hearts, and let this suppress reason and thinking in reverse, achieving an effect like hypnosis. Ben was bewitched and influenced by him, becoming a puppet in his hands."

"Is he a magician or a devil? Isn't he playing with technology like you?" Johnny glanced in astonishment at Reed, who was reminding him, and then quickly glanced at Victor von Doom, who seemed to be able to pollute his eyes just by looking at him, with an urge to curse.

"Maybe it's because he thinks he can never outplay me in technology, so he changed his profession," Reed managed to crack a cold joke in the current crisis-filled environment.

"That's not funny at all." Johnny looked at Ben, whose fists were drawing red afterimages, hitting Susan's barrier crazily one punch after another, and tilted his head.

"If you two have the leisure to talk, you might as well help me think of a way to calm Ben down. I can't hold on anymore!" Susan desperately patched up the wall, her mental power rapidly depleting. She now felt dizzy, but she didn't dare to relax. Hearing that the two men behind her, who both had close relationships with her, still had the leisure to tell cold jokes, her temper couldn't help but become a little irritable. Of course, it may also be because her barrier was stained with a part of the blood-red flames from Ben. Although she handled it quickly and well, inevitably, she was still affected to some extent.

"Right away!" Reed and Johnny said in unison.

However, the addition of the two could not very well contain Ben, because the layer of red flames burning on the surface of his body had become a thorny thing that made the three of them feel a headache.

Either don't touch it, or go crazy with the other person. But without touching it, facing Ben, who was only targeting them in his madness, it was impossible to do. After realizing that attacking with remote means had no good effect, Reed had already realized that if he wanted to help Ben recover, he had to first cross Victor Doom, who caused all of this.

However, Doom's power far exceeded the imagination of the two of them. After Susan tried her best to entangle and restrain the violent Ben, Johnny and Reed launched an attack on Doom, who was watching the show from the side.

The result was a crushing, one-sided defeat.

Doom was far more dangerous than Ben! The power he controlled, and its danger, were even higher! He even stood still in place, and only with those shadows that came to life, he gave Reed and the other a harsh lesson.

Even if Johnny had tried his best to magnify his light during this period, Doom's shadow was still not affected in any way. If the two of them were not normal people, this raid alone would have turned them into a pile of minced meat under the ravages of the shadows.

"It's a pity, Reed. I originally thought you knew about the existence of psionic energy and would give me a little surprise in technology, but it seems I overestimated you." Doom's chaotic and evil voice pierced into Reed's and the others' minds like a needle, causing their spirits to suffer. Only Susan, whose mental power was exceptionally strong, was the least affected, but she also relaxed for a moment because of this, and was caught by the violent Ben who seized the opportunity to break free.

"It seems that you have run out of tricks, but there is good news, your reinforcements are here. There is also bad news, your reinforcements may not be your reinforcements." Doom looked up at the distant night sky, and a faint sound of propellers stirring the air came.

"What exactly do you want to do, Victor! You weren't like this before!" Reed sighed and asked, looking at Doom, who was no longer human.

"That's probably because you never understood me! My ambitions are bigger than you can imagine! I want to become the master of this world, even a god! To arbitrarily change this world according to my own will." Doom's voice had a strong arrogance and conceit: "The current me has already mastered this power that can change the world, and even wield a knife against the gods.

No one can resist the evolution of psionic energy!"

"This is a fall!" Johnny said angrily: "Look at what you look like now, you're more like a failed mutant! If this is your evolution, then I'd rather die. Not handsome at all, and not cool!"

"You're still so shallow, Johnny. Who stipulates the success or failure of evolution? Who can define the failure and success in it? Like you, mastering power stronger than ordinary people, mutated bodies, and then is it successful evolution?

Look at me, look at this body of mine that makes you feel ugly and scared. It is powerful, perfect, has incredible strength, and easily manipulates you perfect evolutionists. It's not good-looking, but it's very practical.

Only the victor can dominate and define, and the loser will only become dust in the tomb of time." Doom was not affected by Johnny's words in any way. He really felt that his form was very good now, every part had its use, and every extra organ also had some kind of ability.

Even subtly, he believed that his form was correct, possessed true beauty, and was closer to the evolutionary form of truth.

Spotlights descended from the sky, covering this area.

The military personnel stationed nearby finally noticed the movement.
