American comics: Starting with Luke the Maker

#79 - Remarks on the launch [crying]

The editor has notified me that the book will be available for purchase on Friday at noon.

This is a good thing.

But the thought of the two chapters I owe and the lack of any backlog is making my scalp tingle!

Let me talk about the author's state this week, not to complain, but to tell the truth.

On the night of the 16th, I felt cold all over and my head was uncomfortable, so I owed a chapter. A day later, I felt a little better. Many readers comforted the author. But that feeling of being a little better was really an illusion.

Later, the author didn't say anything more at the end of the chapter, not because I didn't want to, but because I really didn't know what to say. My head was foggy, my eyes were sore, my nose was running, I was coughing like crazy, and the worst part was that my throat felt like I was swallowing a knife. I still don't dare to swallow hard. My appetite is also bad.

I'm also very sleepy, but when I really want to sleep, it's hard to fall asleep. My whole body feels like I'm dreaming. I just remember that my brain is very active, that I'm dreaming, and that my brain is still active, and then the sleep is over.

This is really more uncomfortable than the flu. After taking medicine to reduce the fever, the medicine didn't help with the subsequent symptoms. Everyone says it will be better in seven days, but it's already been seven days for me.

This is the first time I've tested positive in the last few years, and so has my family.

Thinking about the future, my body's resistance is a bit terrible.

These past few days have been so uncomfortable that the plot in my head is in pieces. Some of the things I write are not satisfactory, but there's nothing I can do. In the past, I could write a chapter of two thousand or almost three thousand words in two hours, but these past few days it's taken me more than two hours to write a chapter of 2K words, and I can't even guarantee the quality. After editing and revising, it takes about three hours to publish. On the worst two days, I often stared at the computer screen for ten or twenty minutes without typing a few words. The author is also someone who doesn't have a backlog and likes to read the chapter comments and readers' opinions to make changes.

But these past few days, I haven't dared to look at the book review section or chapter comments much. I don't know if anyone has helped the author catch bugs, or if any old brothers are violently complaining about the chapter plot.

This crucial week has been hit by this disease, and the author is going crazy. My dad still calls every night to ask if I'm feeling better and to tell me to rest more. Actually, I'm getting enough rest.

I'm saying all this to explain the author's situation. Today is the day of release, but to everyone's disappointment, I'm afraid there won't be a big update. The author only has one chapter in reserve, which is to pay off the debt. Today, I will try my best to write three chapters at home, to make up a free two chapters and two release chapters, and then publish them together. I won't be able to catch up with the 12 o'clock release rush.

As for the subsequent update conditions, I don't dare to guarantee too much, I can only do it slowly. I asked the editor, and the follow-up reading on Monday should be 4K5. With the fanfiction and this week's garbage updates and condition, let's subtract 1,500. That leaves 3,000. For every 200 subscriptions above 2,500 subscriptions, the author will add one more chapter. For every 100 yuan in rewards, I'll add a chapter, and for the leader, ten chapters, but I won't think about that, because I've never had that honor, and I don't expect it.

The extra update time will be calculated until the end of the month. If there really are extra updates. Please allow the author to pay them off slowly. He is clumsy, and now he is still half disabled.

That's it. Thank you for your support!

Everyone must pay attention to your health! Don't test positive! It's really uncomfortable!
