Chapter 422 Four Noble Truths

No one could have predicted that Jianquan would violently kill the deputy commander of Zhenfu Division and the master of Luoyang Haotian Taoist Temple.

This is the same as no one would think that at the New Year's Day Grand Court Meeting, Xue Gongshan Chang Lian Xuanxiao suddenly killed the emperor and queen and declared himself to be the emperor of the Yu Kingdom.

It's too bizarre to be true.

Jian, Master Jianquan,

Xing Pengyue looked away from Gongsun Changyi's corpse with great difficulty, and said in a trembling voice, You are...

Haven't you reacted yet?

Jianquan smiled gently,

The Lightning Prison dissipated slowly with Xiong Tuohai's death, and the shadow demon trapped inside immediately swam to the foot of Jianquan and turned into a shadow again, sticking to the ground.

The four walls of the prison courtyard are full of torches, but there is only one shadow of Jianquan.

There has never been any Shi Xingseng, it has always been you.

Sui Yi said in a bitter voice: First you used Shadow Demons to attack and kill Huang Yusan, Gao Fuyun and others one after another, to create the fact that there was a serial murder case in Xingzhou City.

You know that the Fusi of Xingzhou Town will definitely notify the superiors, so you went to Luoyang in advance, found the Deputy Commander Gongsun Changyi, and fabricated news about Shi Xingseng.

Since you are the last person who met Shi Xingseng, and you are also the leader of the Zen sect in Yu Kingdom, and you know the Zen exercises best,

Gongsun Changyi will definitely bring you to Xingzhou, and you will take this opportunity to attack and kill him.

In order to make the operation go smoothly, you deliberately fabricated the so-called 'Shi Xingseng is killing people according to the six reincarnations', and tricked Li Leling from Xingzhou City to leave.

Because you know that Li Leling must be secretly followed by the powerful imperial palace enshrinement.

will hinder your plans.

Jianquan smiled and listened, exuding a gentle demeanor, not like a murderer with blood on his hands, but more like a kind old man returning from a day's farm work.

If the facts are as the benefactor says,

After Sui Yi finished speaking, Jianquan said leisurely, Why did the poor monk attack and kill the master of Taoism in Xingzhou? Once he did so, it would inevitably lead to the arrival of Xiong Tuohai, the master of Haotian Taoism in Luoyang. Isn’t the poor monk adding to his burden?”

.

Sui Yi couldn't help being silent, she really couldn't figure out Jianquan's motive for doing this.

You must know that he is now the leader of the Zen sect in Yu State, with countless disciples and grandchildren, and the necks and necks compiled by him will surely become prominent in the future.

Status, strength, fame, and power, Jianquan has already stood at the top of the monks, and he has no reason to openly rebel against the State of Yu.

Even if it is the slightest possibility, for example, he is a spy sent by Zhou State to Yu State a long time ago, he would not choose to take actions that lack strategic significance in Xingzhou, a city that has no strategic value——

It's better to go to the palace to assassinate.

The poor monk is not a secret agent like Zhou Guo or Jing Guo, nor is he a member of the Demon Cult who has been lurking very deeply, and he has not been influenced and manipulated by alienated objects.

Jianquan said peacefully: Most of the stories that the poor monk told during the day are true, there are only a few differences in details.

Half a year ago, when the poor monk was wandering around, he met Shi Xingseng who called himself Harvard.

At that time, he was with a woman who claimed to be a spinach, and the two claimed to be from the Zhaoming organization that had previously destroyed the city of Chang'an, and they came here to recruit poor monks.

Jianquan's eyes narrowed slightly, and he recalled: The poor monk has heard a little about the change in Chang'an on the Qixi Festival last year, and he knew the word Zhaoming when he wrote letters with his friends, so he naturally raised his vigilance, pretended to be a snake, and was always ready to suppress the two.

Shi Xingseng guessed the plan of the poor monk, and took out a scroll of scriptures in advance.

One volume, Notes of Sarnath, was brought from Tianzhu by Mahal Qiduo in the pre-Qin period.

The author is a member of the earliest Sangha whose name has been lost. He listened to the Buddha's teachings in Sarnath and wrote down his experience and confusion.

At the age of thirty-five, the Buddha sat under a pippala tree in Bodh Gaya, sat in lotus position, and became a Buddha. Sarnath is the location of the first lecture.

The poor monk was fortunate to have read many Sanskrit classics, including the ancient Zen classics brought back by Master Yu Chu and Chen Yi from Nalanda Temple. Therefore, it can be identified that the volume of notes is not forged.

As for the above content, it is the Four Noble Truths explained by the Buddha himself.

Jianquan said: The Buddha became a Buddha because he realized all the rules of birth and death in the world, but because the birth and death of all things is too esoteric and difficult to understand, the Buddha deliberately simplified it, using the Four Noble Truths to explain the [dependent origination] principle of the circulation of life and death and the path of liberation.

The first is suffering, the second is accumulation, the third is extinction, and the fourth is Tao.

The truth of suffering is the suffering of life, such as birth, old age, sickness and death. Because there is suffering, there is no escape.

The Truth of Settling refers to the cause of all suffering, and it can gather the fruit of all suffering, pointing out that all suffering is caused by the three instincts of greed, hatred, and ignorance.

The truth of extinction is to extinguish the three poisons of greed, anger, and ignorance like extinguishing a candle, eliminate the bitter fruit, and attain purity and extinction.

The Truth of the Tao is the thorough enlightenment of the Tao. Not seeking sensual pleasures, or seeking pleasure through self-inflicted asceticism.

Instead, dig inside and find peace.

Once you realize the Four Noble Truths, you will be able to be liberated from Nirvana and become the happiest and most unrestrained person in the world.

He does not suffer from the suffering of the past, nor entangles with the suffering of the future, but only lives in the present, with compassion, kindness, and fraternity in his heart. The Four Noble Truths are the foundation of Zen teachings, and all philosophical thinking is related to the Four Noble Truths. Throughout the ages, I don't know how many sages and predecessors have contributed to it.

Many monks even claim that someone has already attained the Four Noble Truths and attained ultimate liberation.

That is to say, this is suffering, I know it; this is the accumulation, I have broken it;

Jianquan spoke eloquently, with a gentle and calm voice, containing firm strength.

If you ignore the blood on his hands and the two sentences of dead bodies under his feet, it will be no different from Zen teaching.

But they were all wrong.

Jianquan sighed leisurely, Suffering, origin, cessation, Tao. Suffering is the origin of the Four Noble Truths. Only by knowing the suffering of all beings can there be subsequent thorough enlightenment.

The original Buddha, with great benevolence, observed people's birth, old age, sickness and death, so that he could empathize with them.

But nowadays monks don't do childbirth, but just watch the world's labor, trying to understand benevolence and self-awareness by observing others.

This move is like going in the opposite direction, seeking fish from a tree. The more you believe in it, the farther you will be from the right way and the closer you will be to the illusion. There is absolutely no possibility of realizing the Four Noble Truths, Nirvana and becoming a Buddha.

It's like a bridge on the boundless sea of suffering, with a section missing in the middle, even if it's only a few feet away from the end of the sea of suffering, it's still so far away, and it can't be crossed no matter what.

The contents of the Sarnath Notes fill in the missing path.

Right now,

Substitute yourself into the lives of others, feel the pain and happiness of others thoroughly and clearly,

It can also be understood as He Hua Zi Zi Tian.
