Real-life Confrontation Incident

All the other kids had gone home, leaving only Seo Yerin behind.

I was standing in front of her house, facing off with her mother.

“……”

“……”

It’s refreshing to see you outside of the store where we often meet.

Should I at least say hello?

What should I say then?

Has it been a while since we last met?

How have you been?

Did you like the item I recommended last time?

As these thoughts tossed and turned in my mouth, her mother pointed at Seo Yerin slung over my back.

“How much did she drink?”

“She seems to have drunk quite a bit. She was already passed out when I got here.”

I recited the lines as agreed upon. Naturally, Seo Yerin wasn’t asleep; she was wide awake.

She had told me she would pretend to be asleep to avoid getting scolded by her mom.

At my words, her mother’s eyes twitched slightly.

“Weren’t you with Yerin? That’s what I thought when I contacted you.”

“No. I came over urgently from my parents’ house too. There’s no need to worry; she was drinking with some girls.”

“Phew.”

Her mother visibly relieved, stroked her chest as if easing a great concern.

In the darkness, it had been hard to tell but now seeing clearly, there seemed more wrinkles than before—signs of fatigue on her face that weren’t there previously.

“How should we wake up Yerin?”

Despite being pinched by Seo Yerin from behind, it wasn’t like I could just tell her mom to take Seo Yerin away right here and now.

After a moment of contemplation and a soft sigh, her mother politely requested,

“If it’s alright with you, could you lay Yerin down on the bed? Her dad has already gone to sleep.”

“I understand.”

I knew this because last time too—Yerin’s room is on the second floor.

Passing through an interior that hadn’t exactly been cleaned recently,

I entered into what seemed like an untidy room yet strangely smelled nice—was it just my imagination?

Meanwhile downstairs like a fox lured by grapes,

her mom began tidying up the living room.

I lay Seo Yerin down on the bed.

“Puh-huh.”

As she lies down, she suddenly opens her eyes and laughs with a breath tinged with alcohol.

“Kiss.”

“Should I call your mother over?”

“Kiss me.”

“Sigh.”

Glancing quickly at her mother, I swiftly kiss her. It was brief, but even that seems delightful to her as she giggles foolishly.

If her mother weren’t here, I would have pounced on her right away.

Wouldn’t I?

Considering my lower half is still throbbing, maybe not today.

“Should we just lock the door and do it?”

Seo Yerin makes a crazy suggestion.

“Forget it. Prepare yourself for a scolding from your mom tomorrow.”

From noble mtl dot come

“Don’t worry. No matter what mom says, I’ll do what I want.”

“That’s exactly why you shouldn’t.”

“Then one more kiss.”

Anyway.

Smack.

“Heheh, I’ll do what I want.”

She just wanted to kiss again after all.

“Listen to your mom.”

“She does.”

“…”

There’s nothing left to say after that response.

After squeezing her chest once and wishing her goodnight, as soon as I stand up Seo Yerin hugs herself tightly around the chest feeling pleased.

Stepping outside, my mother gives me a suspicious look but doesn’t say much else before turning off the light and heading out too.

“Woojin student.”

As my mother calls me while descending the stairs of the second floor. Stopping in my tracks and looking up at her as she crosses arms hesitantly.

“The other two people you mentioned last time who need to take responsibility… are they by any chance those girls who drank with Yerin today?”

“You’re like a ghost.”

“That’s right.”

Now that there was no need to lie, I answered honestly.

My mother, with a complex expression, hesitated for a moment before gesturing for me to go downstairs quickly.

Back in front of the house.

It seemed she had something she wanted to say, so I waited. Then my mother bowed her head slightly.

“Thank you for today. I was worried Yerin might not come home tonight.”

“I’m glad I could help.”

“I’ll scold Yerin tomorrow. And as I mentioned before, it would be better if you could keep your distance from her.”

“……”

“I know it’s incredibly rude of me to say this after you helped today. But please understand… it’s hard for a mother to accept certain things.”

“Of course, I understand.”

Who would want their daughter marrying a man who likes threesomes?

“She’s still just a sophomore in college. She’s young and impulsive; later on, she might see this as a poor choice made in the heat of the moment.”

“That’s possible. I won’t deny it.”

Today too, things could have gone terribly wrong.

I don’t completely dismiss the possibility either.

“But Mother. They say this is the time when people mature the most.”

“……”

“Please trust Yerin a little more and watch her closely. You might be surprised at how much she has grown.”

Yerin has already broken out of her shell.

The Yerin that I became friends with during my freshman second semester and the current Yerin are completely different people.

Pushing such a girl back into an eggshell would undoubtedly feel suffocating.

“I’m not just talking about our relationship here but about many aspects overall.”

With those words and a bow of my head, I turned around and walked away.

I felt my mother’s gaze on my back continuously but it didn’t feel like she was glaring at me relentlessly.

I smiled broadly as I stood before my recovered bicycle. I wanted to take a photo and boast about it, but that would make it too identifiable, so I barely managed to resist.

– Anonymous124: ?? Couldn’t find your bike?

↳ Admin: Found mine. The police officers helped me out.

↳ Anonymous11: That tone though, damn.

↳ Anonymous124: Oh, please. I need to find my bike too.

↳ Anonymous83: Who was it?

↳ Admin: Some middle schoolers nearby. They left the bike at a PC cafe and only took the wheels.

↳ Anonymous364: ? My bike disappeared this time too.

↳ Anonymous124: Need to find our bikes seriously.

↳ Admin: You guys should look for your own bikes; why bother me about it?

↳ Admin: (Photo)

Eventually, I couldn’t hold back and just uploaded a photo of the wheel alone. Perhaps recognizing that it was an expensive one, several comments quickly appeared below it.

A sense of satisfaction made my shoulders shrug with delight.

It seems this is why people spend money in life.

Every time I go to class riding my bicycle, I realize how convenient it is.

Now, I can say that without my bicycle, life would be unimaginable for me.

– Anonymous111: Let’s do a night tour tomorrow! Since finals are coming up let’s roam around the university before next semester starts! Say hi if you see me!

↳ Anonymous62: Wow, this reminds me of a story I heard when I was in the military.

– Anonymous407: Idiots. It’s because you all just hang around on Bamboo Forest that your lives are like this. Hiding behind anonymity to spew insults at others, yet you never look at yourselves in the mirror and face reality.

– Anonymous7: Hello. Recently, I’ve developed a strange habit. That thing… what you mentioned last time about masturbation…? It’s becoming more frequent; is there a way to stop?

↳ Anonymous188: Young. So young. These days, I can’t even get it up in the morning.

↳ Anonymous92: Once a day is healthy.

↳ Anonymous254: Just get a girlfriend then. Don’t do it alone; do it with a woman.

↳ Anonymous407: Look at this mess. Wasting time in college like that—what would your parents say? Masturbation? Fucking lose your mind instead.

↳ Anonymous7 (author): Apologize please.

↳ Anonymous407: Apologize my ass. Why should I apologize to someone who rants and raves while hiding behind anonymity?

↳ Anonymous7 (author): Then could you apologize if we met in person?

“Ugh.”

I was just browsing Bamboo Forest but this might turn into something bigger than expected.

Anonymous7 seems to be someone who often posts questions, and it looks like they’ve really caught

I quickly post my piece too.

– Admin: Bamboo Forest actively encourages face-to-face confrontations.

↳ Anonymous28: Look, they encourage it, not discourage it.

↳ Anonymous11: This dude’s really rowing the boat lol

↳ Anonymous302: It’s actually fun. Popo is broadcasting tomorrow, how about we have a showdown then?

↳ Anonymous241: Sounds good? Really good.

↳ Anonymous93: But what can the admin actually do? Just arrange a meeting place or something?

Hmm.

– Admin: Caretaker No.1 will be dressed as a round girl.

↳ Anonymous198: Ssssh! Right on the butt! Ssssh!

↳ Anonymous69: s*xy?

↳ Anonymous257: lololol

↳ Anonymou59(Caretaker No.1): ?

Ugh ugh ugh!

Yuarin called me but I ignored it.

Who knows what kind of abuse I’d get if I answered that call.

Anyway,

The first real-life confrontation in Bamboo Forest started to grow bigger than expected.
