It's finished. Let me say a few words.

Originally, I planned to conclude this book at one million words, which means finishing it after writing about the lower realm.

In my outline, there was no upper realm. After the Ascension in the lower realm, it transitioned to modern society.

But later on, I thought adding an upper realm storyline might make it more fulfilling, so I included it.

Unfortunately, the selling point of this book is the protagonist getting married. As the number of wives increased, the core selling point of the book was basically completed.

So when I reached the upper realm, the plot was not much different from the lower realm.

It's commonly known as "nested dolls."

If the plot repeats, it becomes boring. So in the upper realm, I simply wrote it in a simple way.

Is this an unfinished ending?

It's not considered an unfinished ending.

Why is it not considered an unfinished ending?

Because this book leans towards slice-of-life literature, there wasn't much of a plot to begin with. There were no foreshadowings or unresolved mysteries, so the question of whether it's an unfinished ending or not doesn't exist. It concludes when it should.

As for continuing to write and adding things like the Heavenly Demon invasion or other miscellaneous elements, it would only be repetitive and nested dolls, which is truly uninteresting.

Ending it now is the most appropriate timing.

Short and perfect.

If there is a need, I might write a few extra chapters as supplements.

Before writing this book, I had no idea about the cultivation levels in xianxia novels. I only knew about Qi Refining, Foundation Building, Gold Core, and Nascent Soul.

Because I never read traditional xianxia novels.

Among them, Foundation Building, Gold Core, and Nascent Soul, I only learned about them from reading "The School Beauty's Bodyguard" during my senior year of high school.

Actually, I have a very narrow range of novel genres that I read. From reading books until now, I basically only read two genres.

One is fantasy.

Two is urban.

Among them, I read urban novels more, and now I hardly read fantasy novels.

And I have three types that I don't read.

One is historical novels.

Two is fanfiction.

Three is fantasy novels set in foreign backgrounds.

In order to force myself to read "Lord of the Mysteries," I forcefully changed two reader accounts to full subscriptions, but I couldn't even see the chapters that were released.
