When night fell, Tang Jinyu finished up his work and was going to get some rest. Knocking sounds then came from the wall.

Tang Jinyu took a deep breath.

‘Instructor Tang, your little cutie is having trouble sleeping. Can you talk to her?’

‘Instructor Tang, if you’re not gonna respond, I’ll kill Instructor Lu tonight.’

Tang Jinyu wanted to ignore the sounds but then the knocking was quite noisy. He then stood up and went out of his room. He opened up Jian Qi’s room and said, “Come out now.”

“Didn’t you realize that your little cutie has been emotional today?” Jian Qi asked.

Tang Jinyu took a deep breath. He was speechless yet angry.

“You either go back to sleep or go and stand sentry!” Tang Jinyu warned her.

Jian Qi asked grumpily, “Can I still make you straight?”

“I’ll kill Instructor Lu if I can’t make it happen.”

Tang Jinyu took another deep breath and shouted at her, “Jian Qi, get your ass to the lookout point right now!”

Jian Qi clicked her tongue. Seemed like she really had to kill Lu Yao.

There was a soldier standing at the gate looking at her, and he started laughing. “Your Instructor Tang is really strict huh, you guys are out for duty again?”

“You did something wrong?” The soldier asked.

Jian Qi shook her head. “I’m too great. My Instructor Tang really takes good care of me and he thinks that great people like me should handle more work.”

They both then started talking, which went on for the whole night. Jian Qi was not a boring person and the soldier was a talkative person too.

The two of them felt like they should have met each other earlier.

The night went on peacefully other than the thick layer of snow on the ground.

The sky was turning brighter as Jian Qi was still talking with the soldier and then she noticed that someone was walking toward them.

“Is he one of your guys?” Jian Qi asked the soldier.

The soldier looked at the person and shook his head.

“We have strict rules here and everyone must wear their uniform. He doesn’t look like one of us.”

The man walking toward them was wearing all black and a black cap. His boots were making a lot of noise from stepping on the snow.

He looked like an assassin wearing all black under the snow. At the same time, he had a very positive vibe, making him even more mysterious.

As the man got closer, the soldier stopped him. “Who are you?”

The man raised his head and looked at the soldier, and then he turned his head and looked at Jian Qi.

When Jian Qi could finally take a good look at his face, she was stunned.

She immediately raised her right hand and put it on his chest.
