Pei Zhen hadn’t been home ever since he and Sichen became an item. Most of his communications with his parents were through the phone.

But having to meet his parents in addition to Fu Sichen’s parents, Pei Zhen was beginning to feel the pressure.

Fu Sichen tried not to roll his eyes.

The green vein at his temple started to bulge. How was it that he’d become the ‘daughter-in-law’ again!

Given that it was a meeting with the parents, Pei Zhen dressed quite formally.

Fu Sichen took to the road.

Pei Zhen wasn’t hurt and swung his arm around Fu Sichen’s shoulder, giving him two brotherly pats. “Relax, you know my mum and dad, they both like you.”

Fu Sichen could no longer be bothered to expose the truth, and replied with little expression, “Okay.”

In any case, now that they were out of the closet, Pei Zhen and Fu Sichen didn’t plan to hide any longer and entered the restaurant holding hands. However, when they reached the private dining room, Pei Zhen withdrew his hand.

Completely skipping over the fact that they consummated their marriage before it took place, they straightened their suits and neatened their cuffs, looking very prim and proper.

Fu Sichen quietly observed as his tormented young boyfriend knocked on the door. As expected, voices came from inside.
