There was a loud crash.

The sharp sound caused Pei Zhen to snap out of his train of thought. He barely had time to feel ashamed before Fu Sichen released him, snatched up his car keys, and headed for the door. “Stay at home and wait for me to come back.”

Pei Zhen was flabbergasted.

It gave Pei Zhen a bad feeling to see Fu Sichen in such a fluster. The cat turned and ran towards Fu Sichen, “Hey, what are you doing?!”

Fu Sichen couldn’t understand his meowing, but he still muttered to himself, “I’m going to wake up your Daddy Pei!”

“What?! How are you going to wake me up? With a kiss?!?! That’s the stuff of fairytales! Get real!”

Pei Zhen couldn’t believe what this man was thinking!

Pei Zhen wanted to follow him, but Fu Sichen was too fast. He almost had his nose caught in by the shutting door!

Pei Zhen scratched at the door desperately. Thankfully, Fu Sichen heard the noise and quickly returned.

The door opened. Fu Sichen scooped up the frantic cat, “You want to see your Daddy Pei wake up too? Okay.”
