Cyberpunk: 2075

Chapter 15 15. Impenetrable

The Copperhead assault rifle, which can fire at a rate of up to 640 rounds per minute, was controlled very accurately and fatally in Carl's hands, and every bullet spit out from its muzzle found the guest it was supposed to entertain.

One bullet to the head and one bullet to the heart, each of the seven members of the Vortex Gang was rewarded with two bullets. After two seconds, no member of the Vortex Gang could stand up again in front of Carl and the other two.

"Awesome mano (brother), your shooting skills are really amazing!"

Jack didn't care about his bleeding gunshot wound at all, and even planned to stand up to see if there were any members of the Vortex Gang who were still alive and wanted to finish him off.

"Jack, you should take a break first."

Oliver grabbed Jack and checked his injuries. He was relieved when he found that the two bullets did not hit any fatal parts: "With your condition, you will lose several lives, Jack."

"It's okay."

Jack smiled: "And it's okay if the result is good. You have been helping Carl brag about his shooting skills on the way. I believe in your ability."

"Bullshit ability."

Carl could only say that it was the first time he saw someone who could laugh after being hit by two bullets: "If the opponent's shooting skills were more accurate just now, you would have lost your life, Jack."

"Don't worry, KK, I am sure. When I rushed, I protected my head at the first time, and I was wearing a bulletproof vest. If I was not sure, I would not have to risk my life."

"I think after this order is done, even if we help to raise money, we have to replace your subcutaneous armor first."

Oliver said helplessly, but he was a little ashamed that he could not help before: "I have to install some prostheses for myself later, I have to help, otherwise I will just watch you do everything, and I will be embarrassed to share the money."

"Your shooting skills are good Oliver, you can try to add some auxiliary prostheses to the whole sniper rifle and support us from a distance."

"But my shooting skills are not as good as yours, KK."

"That's why I let you use a sniper rifle."

Carl shook the copperhead in his hand: "I am more suitable to use this thing to quickly deal with others."

"I think Oliver can try to be our medic."

Jack looked at his body, Oliver talked to Carl and treated the wound properly, this kind of proficiency is rare.

"My sister is a prosthetic doctor, so she has learned a little bit."

Not thinking it was a big deal, Oliver looked around and found the surveillance camera: "We have to change places quickly, this place is full of cameras, and other members of the Vortex Gang in the factory will come around when they react."

"Change places and deal with a few more batches. When the people are almost there, leave one alive to ask where the things are."

Carl walked to the side of the Vortex Gang members and picked up a few grenades: "I have to learn about hacking or find a way to hire a hacker for us. If there is a hacker in this mission, we don't even need to leave one alive. We can just block the camera and go all the way to the place where the employer's box is, throw a grenade and take a picture of proof. It's easy and simple."

"So you came up with this idea just for the sake of ease."

Oliver felt that he was probably the only half-normal person in this team. He supported Jack, who was not very mobile, and raised his pistol with his other hand to smash the camera facing them.

But no matter what, these two people are now his companions, so just go with it.

When the leader of the Whirlpool Gang arrived at the place he saw in the surveillance, there was nothing left except the bodies of seven Whirlpool Gang members.

"Waste, can't you even delay for a few minutes?"

The leader really wanted to shoot each person lying on the ground in the head again.

"Boss, there is blood here."

A Whirlpool Gang member who followed her saw a pool of blood on the ground not far from the body.

"It's this direction!"

Looking at the blood traces that appeared every few steps, the members of the Whirlpool Gang picked up their guns and looked at the leader, waiting for her instructions.

"It looks like they did something."

Full of hatred in his heart, the leader led his men to chase the blood traces without much thought.

A few seconds later, when he turned a corner in the passage of a factory.

"Boom!"

Amid the explosion of the grenade, the Vortex Gang member who was in the front was wrapped in the fireball, while those who were a little further away were blown away by the shock wave, falling in front of the demon walking in the middle with missing arms and legs.

"Damn, it's a trap!"

"They fell into the trap."

Hearing the explosion from behind, Carl immediately turned around, holding the Lexington pistol that was more useful in this narrow passage, and slowly walked to the back.

Jack's injury had just been bandaged by Oliver, so it was impossible for him to bleed all the way. The blood was soaked from the blood when Carl tore off a piece of cloth when he took the grenade from the group of Vortex Gang. When he walked a few steps and pinched the cloth, blood would drip down, and it dripped all the way.

The trap was made by Oliver. After all, he was from the Sixth Street Gang, and he had some knowledge of battlefield traps made by the army using grenades to make simple booby traps.

"Oliver, protect Jack, I'll go check on the Vortex Gang behind."

Carl, who didn't know how many people were left in the factory, originally planned to delay for a while, but when he turned the corner, he found that there were only a few people left in front of him.

The demon was originally a small cadre in the Whirlpool Gang, with only more than 20 people under his command. Some of these people went out to fool around and rob. Seven people were killed by Carl in the previous exchange of fire, and the rest were killed by grenades when they were walking in the passage. Now, there are only four people with the demon, including herself.

The gun in Carl's hand was very fast. When he realized that he should leave a survivor, the gun had killed three people. The reason why the last one was able to stay was not because Carl's gun didn't hit her head, but because the bullet hit her head, making a "clang" sound of metal collision, but it didn't penetrate.

'Damn, just like the guy with a metal eye in front and an iron head in the back who I met yesterday. ’

Carl thought it was difficult to capture this guy alive, so he fired another shot with great speed, but the shot that was aimed at the connection between the front and back pieces of metal was still deflected with a "clang".

The sound that rang again made the Vortex Gang member come back to his senses. While looking at Carl with red eyes, Carl's mind flashed with Jack's words.

Lexington, this gun can't even penetrate the most rubbish subcutaneous armor.
