Chapter 765: Lanqi and Sigre's journey again

Chapter 765 Another journey of Lan Qi and Sigre

“The Shadow World is surprisingly easy this time. What difficulties are there?”

Thalia asked him in Lanci's mind.

She has never seen a Shadow World that starts like this and looks like it has been cleared.

Previously in Hyperion, Thalia had already heard that Lanqi and Hyperion experienced a series of blood moon bad times in the shadow world tens of thousands of years ago.

Each phased result of the shadow world will affect the next shadow world.

The first three Shadow World Ranches all had extraordinary endings.

Although the advantages of each low-level shadow world will be much weaker than the overall situation of the next high-level shadow world, they will still have some impact.

 “I’m confused too.”

Lan Qi just looked at the mission objectives of the Shadow World and didn't feel anything.

No matter which shadow world it was in the past, even if you didn't look at the mission goal, you could still notice from the situation that the challenger was driven to action by the situation.

But now he is in the throne room at the top of the Theocracy of St. Paulante.

Look at the time limit and shadow world information.

It’s like truly enjoying the fruits of victory after completing the legend.

Even in the Nanwantina Territory or the royal capital of Icerita, one may not necessarily have such a real sense of stability.

 Twenty-one days?

Give him a few more months and he will have no problem bringing down the whole world.

“Maybe it’s a welfare level? After all, I’ve always been very lucky, so you did the right thing by bringing me along.”

Thalia told Ranchi proudly.

She may not only have not increased the difficulty of Shadow World, but also helped Lan Qi reduce it.

“Indeed, you have a blessed life.”

Ranchi admitted.

“…Do you have any other meaning in what you said?”

Thalia sometimes couldn't tell whether Lanci was troubling her or not.

"No no."

Lan Qi continued to deny.

"Oh, then I can enjoy my life with peace of mind. Anyway, your father also agrees that I often go to Wilford's house. Then I will eat up your family. Don't regret it. It was the goddess of fate who guided me to go to your house for dinner."

Thalia snorted and simply followed Lan Qi's words.

She is already thinking about what will happen after the Shadow World ends.

 “The goddess of destiny…”

Lan Qi shifted his gaze and gradually looked at the statue in the throne room.

The goddess has a compassionate face, holding a bright lamp and looking at all living beings.

The long red carpet extends to the foot of the throne. On the candlesticks on both sides, the holy fire burns quietly, reflecting the murals on the marble walls.

No matter what era, the gods have not changed. They coexist with the world itself, making it difficult to doubt their divine power.

Just as Lan Qi was immersed in tranquility, there was a gentle knock on the door.

 “Please come in.”

Lan Qi turned around and said towards the main entrance of the throne room.

The depths of the Papal Hall are a space that only the Pope can enter on his own.

Others who want to enter must obtain permission from the Pope.

 After Lan Qi’s words fell.

The heavy oak door opened and then closed gently, isolating the noise from the outside.

Lanci clasped his hands casually behind his back, his posture unchanged, looking at the approaching clergy.

Judging from his attire, he should be the chief judge of the Holy Court.

is a clergyman who is nearly forty years old. His face has been vicissitudes due to the years, but his eyes are bright.

He wears a black cassock and wears on his chest the silver scales badge of the Holy Court.

A few strands of long hair hang down from the crown, adding a touch of elegance.

Lanqi had met him before in the Paulante Empire.

When Ranchi was still Prime Minister, this young man was his secretary and his most trusted confidant at that time. Even contacting Sigre to work as a coachman and disguise his identity were handled by his secretary. Now, twelve years later, Lan Qi was not surprised that the other party was able to enter the throne room, the deepest part of the Pope's Hall, to continue helping him.

“Elm, how are you doing lately?”

Lan Qi did not rush to ask him why he came to see her, but was concerned about him.

   …”

Elm was slightly dazed.

He didn't know what happened to His Majesty the Pope today, so he suddenly asked him so proactively.

It was just like it was when the two of them were still in the Capitol of the Paulant Empire many years ago.

Suddenly a trace of sadness flashed in Elm's eyes.

There is only one possibility for the Pope to undergo such a transformation.

“Sir, is your time coming soon?”

He asked in a dry voice.

"…may be."

Lanqi hesitated for a moment and admitted.

Elm apparently also knew Lanclos's secret.

In today’s Theocracy of Saint Paulante, people should have no idea that the Pope is already dying.

According to the tips from the Shadow World, if Lanclos had no special obsession, he would probably be able to live for more than twenty days.

Next, Lanclos will fall into heaven in this peaceful dream.

“Okay, birth and death are the natural laws of life, and the same is true for day and night. There is nothing to be sad about.”

Lanqi looked at his confidant Priest Elm with a smile.

This is his view of life and death.

Although this is a quote from the last time I saw the words of Miss Witch to Lanclos in Shadow Weaver, he surprisingly agreed with Miss Witch's thoughts.

 “Your Majesty.”

Elm bowed and saluted, his tone was low and solemn,

"I just received a secret letter in the Holy Court. Its origin is unknown, but the texture of the letter and the magic fluctuations are very special. I think it is coming to you."

As he spoke, Elm took out a dark blue envelope from the inside of his robe and presented it with both hands.

"letter?"

Lan Qi took the envelope and immediately felt a strange fluctuation.

He was indeed waiting for a letter.

According to the description in Shadow World, Kaliela gave him a letter.

The surface of the envelope had a sea-blue sheen, and the ripples of the deep sea reminded him of the boundless blue sea of Nekalis Island.

Faintly, there is a whisper lingering in my ears, like the song of the waves in the devil world.

This magic.

There is no doubt that it is Kaliela.

But now the Theocracy of St. Paulante has been clearly separated from the Demon Realm after the war.

On the one hand, it is to make other countries feel at ease. On the other hand, there is a cultural gap between humans and demons that is difficult to integrate. Most ordinary humans are afraid of demons.

The establishment of a clear boundary between the St. Paulant Theocracy and the Demon Realm is a choice made by both parties, and it is also a destined trend.

“Can you find out the identity of the sender?”

Lanchi frowned, raised his head and asked Justice Elm.

“Your Majesty, after many investigations by the Holy Court, the sender of the letter still cannot be identified.”

Elm shook his head, his tone solemn.

 “Okay, that’s no problem.”

Lan Qi nodded and replied.

He remembered that Caliera once said that she had placed spies in the Pollant Empire to monitor Prime Minister Wilford.

So it’s not surprising that now she has a way to send letters to Wilford’s confidants through the eyes and then to the Pope.

“Your Majesty, on the fourth anniversary of the peaceful restoration of the land of Seville in Oberon, the headquarters of the Rear Steel Fortress, a month later, I send you a request, hoping that you can attend and witness the post-war reconstruction of the border of the Horning Empire today. "

Elm spoke to the Pope about the second matter and handed a dossier to the Pope.

   …”

Lan Qi glanced at the stone map that turned into a stone map on the entire wall, took the file, and opened it.

Three years ago, when the Paulant Empire and the Horning Empire signed the "Treaty of Oberon", it was at the southern border of the St. Paulant Theocracy.

Hundreds of kilometers away, all the city defense barriers on the northern border of the Horning Empire are also taken over by the Theocracy of St. Paulant. This is the terms of the Horning Empire as the defeated party.

The files are mostly reports, including the arrangements for celebration activities, the current situation on the border between the two countries, and plans for the next two years.

Everything is thriving and developing in a good direction.

"I see."

 He gave Elm his answer.

There are only 21 days in the Shadow World this time, so what happens after a month has nothing to do with him.

In fact, no matter how you answer, it will not affect the outcome.

He can come wherever he wants.

“Can such a good ending be achieved in history?”

Thalia asked in Lanci's mind.

She was almost certain that this perfect shadow world would have nothing to do with her.

The dossier also mentions the current status of the reconstruction of the Horning Empire after the war.

The sinful vampires were judged and will be punished with a long sentence.

The remaining Vampires chose to coexist with humans. They divided a territory belonging to the Vampires on the border of Trik, the capital of Horning, and made a contract not to interfere with human political power. The Vampires also began to use their own magic skills to help human development.

The peace that is as beautiful as a dream is the same as the gentle land that fell.

If Lanclos in the real historical timeline could see this miraculous victory at the end of his life, he would probably close his eyes without regret.

“After all, no one knows what the outcome of this era tens of thousands of years ago will be. Even if it is called the Blood Moon Bad Era, there must be enough possibilities.”

 Lanchi responded with thoughts.

The traceable history in the present world is only a few thousand years at most.

Further forward there are only the uncertain inferences of historians and archaeologists.

The Blood Moon Bad Age is a lost history that goes back at least tens of thousands of years.

The only ones who know the answer are probably the top-level Vampires who have been sealed for ten thousand years before escaping.

“Good job, Elm.”

Lanchi waved his hand, signaling Elm to step back.

“Sir, if you need anything, please call me at any time.”

Justice Elm bowed with emphasis, and then quietly left the throne room.

The door closed again, and only Lanci and this mysterious letter from Kaliera were left in the hall.

Lan Qi slowly walked towards the throne. The setting sun shone in from the colored window, slowly fading from his white body and blending into the shadows.

 After sitting down.

Lanci stared at the envelope in his hand. The blue ripples looked particularly coquettish under the pure light of the throne room.

As Thalia said, he breathed a sigh of relief.

He is quite worried that the shadow world will have a kind of return power - in the worst case, facing enemies that are too much larger than him, the changes he has achieved previously will be nothing, or in the final fourth shadow world, before the The advantages accumulated by the three shadow worlds are just the glimmer of fireflies. In the past twelve years, everything has begun to get on track with history.

Now it seems that the worst case scenario has indeed not happened!

Although this timeline is as beautiful as a dream.

But everything he saw before his eyes was extremely real, and it was by no means an illusion created by the fallen gentle land. Lan Qi knew this very well.

Having gone through one hundred and thirty steps in the Great Demon Trial, he can accurately distinguish between reality and illusion better than any other creature in the world.

Those who are bound by the cage of dreams will not realize that they may be dreaming, nor will they maintain sober doubts like him.

At least the fallen minister Kaliela was still alive and well.

With the protection and control of his strongest ally, Kaliela, the iron-fisted ruler, the Demon World must still be the same as when he left it in the last Shadow World.

Based on this, it can be inferred that the timeline he is currently on is greatly different from the timeline Lanclos was in history.

“Alas, Black Sun Lord Lanclos must have never seen the wonderful world line where vampires and humans coexist peacefully.”

Thalia said with emotion.

She has always sympathized with their ancient compatriot after reading the sealed images of "Kaliela's Shadow Weaving Record".

"Lan Qi, you shouldn't be thinking about going south to catch the Vampires, right?"

Thalia inquired.

Theoretically, if they go directly south, it is possible for them to reach the hinterland of the Southern Horning Empire in twenty-one days. If they release his [Fusion Wolf], they will definitely cause quite a stir.

However, if we do this, the hard-won peace will be destroyed, and this dream-like shadow world will be shattered into a nightmare-like scorched earth battlefield.

“I’m not a terrorist, so why would I want to kill others at every turn?”

Lanchi was laughed at by Thalia.

At present, there does not seem to be any danger in this eighth-level shadow world. As long as it is passed smoothly, it can ensure that the current world will not be punished by natural disasters if the shadow world fails.

If he makes unnecessary moves and destroys the situation where the Shadow World can carry out normal tasks, he will become a war criminal in the real world.

“You humans actually like to drive all your enemies away...”

Thalia muttered.

As a princess who lost her country, she always carries regrets.

She had nothing to complain about when the demons destroyed the country, but she often thought about whether everything would have been different if either side had made different choices at that time.

"Not including me. If I were in charge of the overall situation of mankind during the Holy War, I would definitely not let the demons perish. In other words, if I were to handle the problem, I could end the Holy War within two weeks."

Lanchi answered Thalia, assuring her with extra assurance.

   …”

“I’m sorry, I admit, you really shouldn’t be counted among ordinary humans.”

Although Talia didn't know where Lanqi got his confidence and how he could end the Holy War in two weeks, she believed that this guy could definitely come up with a plan that would make both humans and demons uncomfortable but have to accept it.

And he can indeed do what he says, treating demons and humans equally.

“Are you praising me or scolding me?”

Lanci judged emotionally that Thalia might be praising him.

But it sounded like he was scolding him.

“I’m praising you, I’m really praising you this time.”

Thalia admitted reluctantly and helplessly.

What she likes most about Lan Qi is that he doesn’t have double standards.

Maybe it was when she saw Lan Qi saying to Hyperion in the Shadow World video, "Don't discriminate against the demons" that she began to change her view of Lan Qi and try to understand Lan Qi.

But this person is annoying in other ways.

Thalia made a mental patch to prevent Lan Qi from misunderstanding.

“I have always believed that there are good guys in the vampire clan.”

Ranchi added, telling Thalia what he really thought.

He would not label all individuals because of their race, but the vampires he met so far all had bad habits that they could not change.

The war ends at an appropriate time, and it is up to the Blood Tribe and the Horning Empire to repay the cost of the war and minimize casualties.

A defeated country is worth countless times more than a piece of scorched earth.

This can already be regarded as the ideal ending of the Blood Moon Bad Times.

 A relatively perfect ending.

While chatting with Thalia, Lanci carefully uncovered the crystal seal of Kaliera's letter.

The main business in the Shadow World is to read Kaliela’s letter first.

Lanci himself is also looking forward to contacting this old friend after a long time.

The blue magic power immediately evaporated from the letter paper, hovering in the air, forming the demon's words.    ――Sincerely your respects, Mr. Wuming”

"My friend, see the words like a meeting."

“The season of snow and ice has arrived, how are things going these days?”

“You may feel more lonely and cold, please be careful not to catch a cold.”

“As for me, my life has been very peaceful since I parted from you.”

“Being able to defeat the Strigoi and the Horning Empire and obtain the peace we have today is all thanks to you and your partners. I would like to express my sincere gratitude.”

“I originally thought that I should write you a letter as soon as possible.”

“But sending a message when there is nothing important always makes me a little embarrassed.”

“I don’t want to disturb you.”

 “Please forgive me.”

Calliera's handwriting is more delicate and graceful than imagined.

The magic power it contains is still full of ninth-level domineering power.

“‘Unknown Sir’, only Kaliela would call me that.”

Lanchi flipped through the pages and spoke to Thalia nostalgically.

Other demons at this stage should probably call him Hei Riqing.

Only old friends who are quite familiar with each other will always be called by the name they used when they first met.

“There is a barrier spell on this letter. If you hadn’t activated it, I’m afraid it wouldn’t have appeared at all.”

Thalia told him as she analyzed the page.

Just like the first time she touched the [Kaliela's Shadow Weave] gem, she felt unexpectedly close to this magic power, as if it could be integrated into her body.

"I'm sorry to live up to your expectations. Six years ago, I failed to defend the Demon King's City."

The words that appeared in the first line of the next page made Lan Qi's hand pause slightly.

"Fortunately, you arrived and saved the child once again. She is our last hope to conquer Blood Moon City."

“But I lost to Duke Rashal, the third ancestor of the blood race, and my soul has long been shattered.”

"The power entrusted to you at that time was the source of my remaining life soul."

“Because I know I’m of no use anymore and you need to keep moving forward.”

“Drawing this body, I have spent these years stabilizing the overall situation in the devil world, leaving you with a gift that you can choose whether to open or not.”

Lanqi’s breathing was no longer so steady.

He quickly turned over the letter and looked at the last page.

"It's just that when you come to the demon world, I may have turned into the gentle land where the big demon fell after the trial."

"I gave the last life soul source to Maye Qing Esmode, so that her child can be born smoothly. If one day in the future you can see the children of Miwu Qing and Maye Qing, maybe they can sense each other. Each other, because you all have my magic power."

"If you ever feel confused, come to the devil world."

“I believe if it were you, you would be able to find the answer.”

“This new journey will start from the land you protect. I hope you can continue to like the devil world.”

"Goodbye."

  —The Fallen Kaliela"

She ended the letter in a more cheerful way.

Lan Qi held the letter and couldn't put it down for a long time.

As a person from another era, he knew that Kaliela's final outcome would be to become the gentle land where the great demons were tested and fell.

But I never thought that I would have to experience these farewells personally in this era.

“Lan Qi, this is the shadow world after all. Kaliela’s death is final, so don’t be sad.”

Thalia thought, comforting Lanqi.

She knew that Ranchi and Kaliera had a friendship and had fought together.

He must have felt uncomfortable after learning of the death of Kaliela.

 “It’s a fate after all…Kaliera…”

Lanchi silently recited what Thalia just said,

"die…?"

His voice was tinged with hesitation.

 If Caliera is gone.

Then the current demon world might be completely different from what he imagined?

A weird and wonderful feeling filled Lan Qi's heart.

As if the irresistible force of fate made him feel that something was wrong with this timeline.

He breathed in the cold air of winter in Helsalem, the capital of Pollant.

Even if it’s just for a moment.

 At this moment.

At a moment when his spirit and will were weak, the sea of blood rushed towards him with a roar, trying to fill the throne room where Lan Qi was and overflow.

Illusions and blood-red bubbles invaded every space in the throne room where he looked.

 Open your eyes again.

The bitter blizzard roared through the streets of the city, submerging the broken walls, broken limbs and pools of blood under the vast wind and snow.

The sound of heavy wind and snow seeds slapped against his skin.

This is the Demon King’s Palace on Naika Island?

It was dark outside the palace, or rather white, dotted with dazzling scarlet like a blood mandala, and nothing could be seen clearly.

The former central square of Nekalis is now deserted. The ruthless snow has buried all evidence of crime. The screams of these dead souls will also disappear with the wind, and no one will mourn them anymore.

"six years ago?"

Even though Lan Qi's consciousness was almost frozen, he could roughly guess what time period this battle took place.

The war between the Horning Empire and the coalition forces should have entered a white-hot stage at this time.

Even if we really lose, the Demon Realm will be the last place where the vampires will fight.

According to the records of the Saint Paulant Theocracy, the human kingdoms in the north may fall at any time, several orc city-states have also been slaughtered by the vampires, the land of eternal night has become dangerous, and the demon world's communications cannot contact humans at all. On the other side of the country.

 He couldn't see his fingers.

Sirens and wails, as well as the sound of demons being disemboweled, on this windy and snowy night, the demon city of Nekalis was shrouded in a haze of panic.

In the darkness, Lan Qi felt like there was movement in front of him.

You can only move forward step by step.

Until the dim moonlight illuminated the long stone corridor of Nekalis Palace again.

He felt goosebumps all over his body and looked at all this in astonishment.

Calliera’s eyes were dull and she was lying on the ground covered in blood.

A figure that looked like a young man was looking at him with an expression of ecstasy, his mouth and cheeks were covered in blood.

【Hei Riqing, do you, a defeated general like yours, still dare to come to me? 】

The voice of the third ancestor, Duke Rashal, sounded in his ears from all directions, with a smile like a night charm.

The sound gradually became louder, and the buzzing and noise were about to tear his eardrums apart. The consciousness around him quickly accelerated, and was about to drag him into another twisted void tunnel that exceeded the speed of sound and light—

   …”

A white light suddenly appeared in front of Lan Qi's eyes, and everything became quiet.

His sight was focused again, and only the pure white throne room was left, as well as Thalia's angelic and concerned face.

 “Lan Qi, are you okay?”

In the throne room, Thalia saw that something was wrong, appeared and shook Lan Qi's shoulders.

Lan Qi suddenly stopped moving just now.

It’s useless to call him no matter what.

 So she directly summoned herself.

 “Thalia…”

Lan Qi came back to his senses and his breathing became smooth and steady.

 “No…nothing happened.”

Lan Qi replied as if he was waking up from a dream.

He may now understand part of the meaning of the mission goal "understanding Lanclos's state of mind".

Whether in the original historical line or the shadow world line that he derived, the third ancestor Rashal once left an indelible negative state for Lanclos during the battle.

In the process, I will intermittently see the pain that Lanclos cannot let go.

 “Are you really okay?”

Thalia lifted the ends of her hair, got closer and took off Lan Qi's mask, and placed it on Lan Qi's forehead.

The mental overload caused by mental magic that generally favors illusions can easily cause high fever and cause patients to temporarily lose consciousness.

“It’s really nothing. The ninth-level negative mental state is like sparkling water to me.”

Lanchi quickly leaned back and leaned on the throne as if avoiding Thalia.

"Really?"

Thalia drawled out her voice and looked at him with her hands on her hips.

Seeing that Lan Qi was so energetic, it seemed that everything was fine.

But Lan Qi seems to look down on spiritual magic.

She didn't believe that her mental magic couldn't control Lan Qi.

 “Pfft.”

Lanqi, who was initially caught off guard by Thalia's sudden approach, was amused by her inner voice.

Thalia sometimes has an inexplicable sense of confidence and sense of humor.

   …”

Thalia frowned slightly.

“If I follow my sister’s example and use charm magic on you, will you not be affected?”

She said, putting her palms in front of her chin, and blew a kiss to Lan Qi.

Efatia told her that this would definitely work.

   …”

Lan Qi suddenly felt chills all over and was controlled for a second.

  I felt uncomfortable all over.

"you win."

 He admitted.

Thalia's spiritual magic is still effective.

A brief moment of banter lifted his spirits.

Lan Qi’s hand holding the letter clenched again, as if there was something behind it.

He turned over the third page.

As the last calligraphy of Kaliera was completely deciphered, this mysterious letter suddenly floated up from Lan Qi's hand and turned into little stars.

The blue magic power slowly wrapped around his wrist like a trickle, bringing a strange warmth and briefly dispelling the cold air around him.

After a while, the magic gradually dissipated and merged into the solemn air of the throne room.

The letter paper weathered into silvery white dust in mid-air, falling on the red carpet like the first snow.

Sure enough, at the end of the letter, there was an invitation letter.

It is clearly written on it -

【Letter of Appointment from the Principal of Pascual Corridor in Purgatory】

“Purgatory Corridor Academy?”

Lanci picked it up and looked at it through the light of the throne room, which seemed like an old friend reunited after a long absence.

“At the end of the story, do we have to go back to the beginning again?”

 He murmured.

“Cloister, do you feel that from the moment you first entered Purgatory Corridor Academy, you were destined to return there one day?”

Thalia crossed her hands, leaned next to the Pope's throne, and said to him.

At the end of the letter just now, Kaliela mentioned that she prepared a gift for the unknown minister.

Then the approximate meaning of this invitation letter is that Caliera left a certain treasure that cannot be mentioned in the school of Pascual in the Purgatory City.

“Can you guess what Calliera left behind?”

Lanchi turned his head and looked at Thalia beside him.

Thalia, as an authentic old demon, will know the secrets and inheritance of the demons better.

“I have been interested in this school for a long time.”

Thalia saw that Lanqi was sincerely asking for advice, so she didn’t care about his wording and started talking to him.

“In the Demonic World, all designs related to corridors, inversions, and infinity are related to the Lord of Hanging, Tiberius.”

She understood from the first time she saw the ancient demon world academy that Lanqi went to on the screen of Icerita Academy. This school adopts one of the most classic and oldest artistic styles of their demon clan.

   …”

Lanchi understood Thalia's words and nodded.

The mysterious building of the Corridor of Purgatory cannot be traced even in the Demon World during the Blood Moon Age. It cannot be ruled out that it is the work of Tiberius, a craftsman in the Demon World hundreds of thousands or even millions of years ago.

That’s why the Great Demon Trial [The Upside Down Road to Death] on the sixth floor of Helrom Prison has a corridor style similar to that of the Purgatory Corridor Academy.

While Lanci was thinking, Thalia was staring at him again.

“You seem to have another condition.”

 She reminded.

The status this time is surprisingly easy to identify.

Thalia figured out the result at a glance.

  【The Last Gentle Country】

  【Category: Gain Status】

  【Level: Epic】

  【Attribute: Fantasy】

  【Rank: 9】

【The protection given to you by Kaliela. 】

She shared all this with Lanqi through her consciousness.

   …”

Ranchi sat there for a while, then pulled himself together and stood up, making a victory gesture that was not very suitable for a pope.

“Okay, now it’s time to work hard!”

He walked towards the communication magic device and pressed the summoning crystal.

It seems that we must go to the Demon Realm this time. Only by returning to the Demon Realm can we understand many things. According to these instructions, Hyperion is likely to be in the Demon Realm at this moment.

This moment is exactly like that time!

Since we are going to the Demon Realm again, and this time it is December and winter compared to the last summer, the Land of Eternal Night will only be more dangerous.

Then you have to look for that person again.

 It didn’t take long.

Chancellor Elm knocked again on the door of the throne room of the Papal Hall and entered with the Pope's permission.

 “Your Majesty, you summoned me?”

The justice bowed and his tone was humble.

 “I’m looking for Sigre.”

Ranchi said succinctly.

Sigre was adopted and raised by the orphanage of St. Paulante Church since she was a child. In essence, she is considered a member of the church.

Elm should know her whereabouts. It was Secretary Elm who helped Prime Minister Wilford find this excellent coachman who accurately knew the route to the Land of Evernight twelve years ago.

   …”

Elm was a little stunned. He didn’t seem to expect that the Pope would suddenly want to find Sigre at this moment. He gradually became relieved and showed a slightly nostalgic look.

"Sister Sigre, after you brought her back, she has been in the orphanage on the outskirts of Helsalem. You haven't seen her for a long time."
