I believe that many people have fantasized about or liked this feeling when watching TV, movies and novels about the doomsday, so the articles about repairing doomsday shelters have been more popular in recent years. At the beginning, I also thought in this direction, and everyone will think that it is heading in this direction after reading the setting introduction.

But writing is different from imagining victory settlement.

For example: After the permanent shelter is built, it will be fun for a while, and then the community will finish slapping faces and showing off, and then...

Another example: The train is upgraded to an invincible fortress, there is no danger, full of security, and I have been enjoying myself in the steel fortress for a few days with a beautiful woman. How to write the next chapter...

Cultivating immortals?

So I started to rethink and make settings, wanting to write a dangerous apocalypse.

And in the apocalypse, survival and insecurity are the core themes.

Security is built and obtained step by step, but there are countless possibilities in the dark night. There is always a survival crisis, and there is motivation only when there is a crisis.

If a post-apocalyptic novel has no survival crisis for the protagonist, wouldn’t it become a fantasy upgrade face-slapping flow?

Everyone may have seen from many of the previous comments that the development of this book should be somewhat biased from the development direction that many readers "think".

For example, if you think that the apocalypse should be a lone wolf, you start to scold women in the first chapter, but if you don’t write about women, someone will call you a eunuch.

For example, if you think that in the end times, you should just stay alive and develop, then become invincible and go out for a stroll with a full sense of security, then you will keep scolding me for not letting the protagonist stop and develop with such an awesome ability.

(It is to avoid this problem that I designed the end of the world in a battle royale, and set up time-consuming, energy-consuming, unknown dangers, and emphasized the functionality of the protagonist's ability rather than combat. The purpose is to deliberately prevent everyone from thinking about hiding. Many people think that the protagonist's mechanical ability is so amazing that it should be played in this way. If it is played in that way, it is stupid according to the author's writing style. I just added a setting that [prohibits the protagonist from hiding, and will die directly if it exceeds 24 hours]...) Helpless...╮(╯＿╰)╭

PS: Actually, I listened to the opinions in the comment area, and I really stopped to rest and develop for three or four chapters, and was scolded for being too watery...

For example, I think the protagonist of the end of the world should be decisive in killing, and the supporting characters should be killed in one blow if they have some ideas and schemes. All characters are either loyal brothers who are responsible for showing shocked expressions, or vicious villains who come out and receive the way to death directly.

But I have never labeled the protagonist as a decisive killer. The protagonist is just a college student who has gained superpowers and is planning a seemingly crazy escape plan. I think that whether it is a supporting role or a passerby, they all have their own survival concept in the end times.

The superpowers of the protagonist are only the foundation of the underlying structure, and to achieve such a goal, teamwork and warmth are needed.

Friends who can see this article should also see that I want to use a long article to shape a character, such as KIKI, such as Teacher Chen, and there will be some key plot developments in the follow-up Sasha and new teammates.

From the girl on the helicopter in the first chapter, to the 23-26 chapters that were scolded by many people, a scheming and insecure passenger, mutual suspicion, to the reconciliation later, and then gradually understand the reasons for KIKI's personality...

I admit that my writing is too immature and I can't be like the great god "a few strokes to make a vivid character come to life on paper", so I can only use a long article.

However, after the guidance of the editor, I adjusted my mindset.

Some people like the doomsday with a sense of security, while others like the doomsday full of unknowns and survival challenges. There are groups that like each story.

In fact, some old readers have criticized it, saying that it was written ten years ago.

I completely agree with this.

Because I have not read Faloo Tomato's works in recent years, and I have not thought about that brand-new routine, such as pretending to be awesome and showing off in front of others, and the whole cool routine of no more than 3 chapters before and after, and I have not thought about writing according to that routine (uh... although the title of the book is Faloo Wind)

From the introduction, everyone can see that it is not the kind of witty, playful, funny, and the kind of suppressing the supreme before praising.

This is a completely unknown adventure of survival.

Natural disasters, blizzards, darkness, weirdness, supernatural phenomena, sky monsters, puzzles, battles, etc. will all be covered

Food, water, energy, air, warmth, etc., and there has always been a lack of security.

Survival is always the main theme of the apocalypse.

The wheels are rolling and there is always an unknown adventure ahead.
