Chapter 152: What to Inscribe on the Stele (Part 2)
What to carve? Wang Sheng had actually been thinking about it on the road.
If you were to ask what character Wang Sheng is most familiar with and has practiced the most, it would definitely be the character 永 (yǒng, eternity). Wang Sheng treats the Eight Principles of Yong as fundamental and has never stopped practicing them.
However, it would definitely be inappropriate to carve only one 永 character on such a massive, sky-supporting stele. Although Wang Sheng believed that his most profound understanding of the 永 character might be most likely to gain Fuxi's approval.
Use other Taoist couplets? It’s not impossible. However, if there were two giant steles, carving a couplet would be fine. But with only one stele, carving a couplet would seem strange no matter how you look at it.
Wang Sheng had been pondering all the way, wondering what characters he should carve on the giant stele to be appropriate. It wasn't until he was almost at Worry-Free City that Wang Sheng suddenly had a flash of inspiration.
When practicing carving and controlling his strength, Wang Sheng used five hammers of different weights. The first two were heavy hammers, weighing one thousand and two thousand catties. During hammering, each strike would cause vibrations in the body, allowing the residual medicinal power and spiritual energy in his body to fuse more thoroughly.
This kind of vibration, in addition to the vibration caused by force, also includes the influence of sound. However, compared to the force vibration of a heavy hammer hitting a heavy chisel, the sound vibration effect is almost negligible.
But Wang Sheng was inspired by this. In Buddhism and Taoism on Earth, there are mantras. And using mantras during cultivation is said to have a transformative effect.
According to legends and some novel records, internal cultivation experts can cultivate the sounds of tigers and leopards. The sounds of tigers and leopards are an unconventional method of marrow cleansing and blood exchange, vibrating the entire body's bones and muscles, merging into one, like a tiger's roar, a leopard's cry, and thunder.
This method seems simple, but it is very difficult to do. It is not as easy as using stance training to vibrate the spine to move the whole body's bones and muscles. The sounds of tigers and leopards pay the most attention to a resonance, vibrating every bone, every muscle, every organ, to achieve the best balance resonance. There must be a feeling of the whole person collapsing in the resonance!
Resonance is used in internal cultivation, which can be said to integrate science into it. The resonance of the whole body naturally allows the bone marrow, which is difficult to temper, to be cultivated. This is the so-called kung fu of refining into the bone marrow. Bone marrow is for making blood, and refining marrow is exchanging blood. A large part of the toxins accumulated in the human body will be integrated into the blood, running throughout the body and destroying bodily functions. Refining marrow and exchanging blood is like washing the body anew!
Wang Sheng also practices stance training, the Tai Chi Hunyuan stance, but has not yet reached the point where his body emits the sounds of tigers and leopards. But Wang Sheng also knows that, according to legend, some eminent monks and Taoists can recite mantras to drive the circulation of qi and blood throughout the body, causing resonance in the body's bones and improving physical fitness.
This is another excellent cultivation method for Wang Sheng. Although Wang Sheng doesn't know how to induce sound resonance throughout his body so far, he at least has a direction.
Since the next stage is to cultivate mantras, there is no problem in carving mantras on the sky-supporting giant stele.
Wang Sheng used to hear the Six-Syllable Great Bright Mantra of Buddhism frequently on Earth, and he was quite familiar with it: Om Mani Padme Hum. Unfortunately, there is no Buddhism in this world, PASS.
There is Taoism in this world, and now the relationship between Taoism and Wang Sheng is extraordinary. In addition, Wang Sheng's Tai Chi and other things all come from Taoism. It can be said that there is no need to struggle with the dispute between Buddhism and Taoism, and the Taoist mantra must be used.
《Zhonghua Daozang》: "It is advisable to know the Six Jia Secret Prayers when entering the mountain. The prayer says: 'Lin, Bing, Dou, Zhe, Jie, Zhen, Lie, Qian, Xing.' Repeat nine times, always pray secretly, and there is nothing that cannot be avoided. The important way is not troublesome, this is what it means." Lin, Bing, Dou, Zhe, Jie, Zhen, Lie, Qian, Xing, the orthodox Taoist Nine Syllable Mantra, when not to use it at this time?
In his own yard, Wang Sheng found a comfortable position and began to think about how to carve the Nine Syllable Mantra on the sky-supporting giant stele.
The combat consciousness little man had simulated it several times in the Yuanshen space, but it was just his own carving and would not interfere with Wang Sheng, let alone personally do it on Wang Sheng's sky-supporting giant stele.
Wang Sheng also began to simulate it himself, and soon felt familiar. In fact, he had been practicing carving skills solidly for more than a year. He wouldn't dare call himself a grand master, but it was definitely appropriate to call himself a master. All the obstacles were actually hindered by Wang Sheng's mentality of wanting to be perfect.
Why can many things be produced as fine products? There is no other reason, just familiarity. Therefore, if you want to be refined, you only need one method, which is to practice, practice tirelessly.
Outside, Wang Sheng hand-wrote the Nine Syllable Mantra tens of thousands of times, and simulated it in the Yuanshen space no less than a thousand times. When Wang Sheng felt that his body and mood had been adjusted to the best state, he notified the little maid and the cook, and greeted the old eunuch next door and Han Bingli, and his consciousness entered the Yuanshen space.
With a thought in Wang Sheng's mind, countless clouds quickly formed a hammer and a chisel, exactly the same as the ones Wang Sheng used outside. No one was holding them, but the two tools flew directly in front of the sky-supporting giant stele. The hammer was pulled back, as if an invisible giant was wielding it, and then heavily hammered on the chisel.
A clear engraving mark suddenly appeared on the sky-supporting giant stele. Wang Sheng did not stop and directly went to the second hammer and the third hammer.
Ding ding ding ding, rhythmic sounds rang in Wang Sheng's Yuanshen space, completely in accordance with Wang Sheng's rhythm and technique when carving the giant statue of Laozi, but all of these were moved to the Yuanshen space. Everything remained unchanged, and the text that Wang Sheng wanted to carve began to appear on the giant stele.
Except that Wang Sheng's figure did not appear in the Yuanshen space, and the hammer and chisel were just carving out of thin air, everything was as if there was a giant standing there like Wang Sheng, wantonly waving the hammer and chisel, leaving his inner passion on this sky-supporting giant stele.

One character appeared after another, all the processes had been simulated thousands of times, without any flaws. The moment the nine characters appeared neatly and completely, the hammer and chisel also completed their mission, and once again turned into clusters of clouds and disappeared out of thin air.
The white mist hovering on top of the sky-supporting giant stele began to dissipate rapidly at this moment, slowly revealing the scene inside.
A giant dragon, coiling around, was quietly lying on the top of the sky-supporting giant stele, with a face full of enjoyment, as if the words on the stone tablet were its delicious food.
Fuxi, shaped like a dragon, loves literature. At this moment, it finally revealed its true face.
A surge of spiritual energy disturbed Wang Sheng's small courtyard, and then countless spiritual energy gathered frantically towards Wang Sheng's body as if encountering a black hole.
