It's time for a new book to be put on the shelves. Although I have been in Feilu for more than two years and have written several books, three of them are on the shelves for Yu-Gi-Oh!

But now I still feel a little uneasy.

I still remember the first book I wrote in Feilu, which was about Pokémon. I was still a novice at the time.

The price on the shelves is a little over 6000V, but because I just came to Feilu and don’t know anything, I just relied on my passion, regardless of whether my grades were good or bad, and coded day and night.

At that time, there were ten consecutive publications on the first day, and the first order was 63 yuan in royalties. Hahaha, any veteran writer in Feilu would immediately cut the deal. But as a newbie, it was the first time I saw that I was making money by writing a book, and I was so excited that I couldn’t help myself.

For the next month, I was in an excited state of creation, dedicating all of my greatest enthusiasm to that book (so much so that the book included everything I could write about Pokémon, but later I stopped writing at all. I know how to write Pokémon anymore).

The second book is about Yu-Gi-Oh!, because it is so unpopular, and the number of Vs on the shelves is less, maybe more than 5,000? It looks like less than 6,000. This one didn’t make as much money as writing Pokémon, but I don’t really care.

Writing these two books brought me a lot of extra income. Then what?

I spent almost all of the royalties I earned on buying cards!

Pretty crazy, right? Using money to buy cards is like pouring money into the sea.

But for me, Yu-Gi-Oh! is the love of my life.

Collecting those genuine cards that I have wanted for a long time is, for me, compensation for my childhood.

According to incomplete statistics, in that six months, I spent tens of thousands on cards. But I'm not a bad guy, and most of those cards are still lying quietly in my notebook.

Based on this alone, I dare to say that no Yu-Gi-Oh writer loves Yu-Gi-Oh more than me.

And what’s the return for me from buying so many cards?

some--

Because, after I finally spent all the money on hand and decided to stop, K Club officially announced: Starting from the 11th issue, the technology of the old rare cards will be changed, and UTR (three-dimensional) and HR (holographic) cards will all be replaced with new technology.

The new technology is very crotch-stretching, and I still find it ugly.

As a result, the old version of the craftsmanship has become out of print!

Almost overnight, it took off in full force! ! Moreover, in the coming time, the rising tide will lift all boats, and it will only become more and more expensive and difficult to afford!

That said, if I had collected the cards I had received after the official announcement of the process change, I would have spent more than twice the price.

The leeks must be cut properly.

But I was lucky, I had collected most of the cards I wanted before that.

I never imagined that my seemingly irrational spending would turn out to be my most successful investment? !

Now, if I have spare money on hand, I still can’t help but buy a card I like.

(Of course, I don’t recommend book friends to collect those valuable cards now. Now that retail investors enter the market, they can only be cut off. Don’t blame me for not reminding you when the time comes.

If you really want to buy it, just get some cards you like. Many cards have cheaper versions. Not all of the cards for "Blue Eyes White Dragon" are 87 million. You can buy genuine ones for just a few RMB. )

Then, at the beginning of this year, Duel Link finally came to the overseas server.

I also took advantage of the popularity and wrote another Yu-Gi-Oh!

But, how can I put it, that book did poorly for various reasons.

Although I thought it was the pinnacle of my hard work and creativity in the field of Yu-Gi-Oh, there was no good feedback.

I searched for the reason myself, and I felt that I still had the same old habit: I like to show off my skills too much, and there are many different operations, which seem a bit complicated and cumbersome.

OCG players may enjoy watching it, but long-time Yu-Gi-Oh fans who have only seen DM and GX may find it hard to get into it.

(After absorbing this lesson, I decided to try to write this book as simply as others.

(Because I found that those writers who can even get the basic rules of the game wrong will still read what they write. So my writing was too complicated, but it was too highbrow. The difficulty can be lowered, as long as I don’t make other people’s stupid mistakes. That’s fine, you can still write wonderful operations.)

I wrote that book intermittently for less than half a year, with a word count of 350,000, and the total royalties were less than 5,000. It was a complete hit and hit rock bottom.

During that time, I also encountered a lot of things, which made me feel very depressed and depressed, and I couldn't write a book.

Until the "Blue Eyes White Dragon" was auctioned, Yu-Gi-Oh suddenly became popular again.

I realized that this was unprecedentedly hot!

So, I finally picked up some energy and started creating again.

Originally, I thought the transaction price of the golden blue-eyed white dragon would be around 300,000.

But I didn’t expect that my layout was really small...

87.32 million, it immediately became popular all over the country. Everyone knew that there was such a thing...

I was also completely stunned.

That day, I realized that I had to take advantage of this heat!

I would be sorry for myself if I didn’t! !

So, I didn’t care about anything. Even if I only saved a small amount of manuscripts, I still had to hurry up and get it on the shelves. The book would be released directly on June 21st! !

In fact, it was a very eventful day.

Because I also have my own job, working in the unit, and I happened to be investigated by my boss in those few days, and I was scolded so much that I almost lost my job. For those trivial things, I worked overtime for more than an hour, for free. It made me very irritable.

But I still finished all the other work. When I came back, I opened PS by myself, spent twenty minutes on this funny cover, and then contacted the editor to publish the book!

However, the results on the first day were not ideal. It can even be said that they did not get any enthusiasm at all.

The collection on the first day was just over 1,000, and not many readers noticed this book.

At that time, my heart was very cold. I originally thought that this book would be as popular as the previous one.

Subsequent results were not ideal either.

I know the reason, because what I wrote is an original background and I have not traveled into the original animation world of Yu-Gi-Oh, so old fans of the animation cannot substitute.

But there is no way, the book still has to be written, and the money still has to be earned, so I can only bite the bullet and keep writing.

Until today, I finally saw a glimmer of light——

Before it was put on the shelves, V sales exceeded 10,000!

I have written six or seven books, and this is the first time that I have received over 10,000 Vs before being put on the shelves!

I just want to look up to the sky and scream——

I still got the heat! ! !

I don’t dare to ask for too much from a subscription to this book.

But I still hope that readers who like reading this book and think what I write are refreshing and enjoy reading it can subscribe and support me, an old fan.

Writing a book is a mental job. From the beginning of writing this book, I was insomnia all night just thinking about the plot and the structure of the duel.

I don't want to say anything as righteous as "I want Yu-Gi-Oh to have a place in Feilu". Even thinking about it, I know it's impossible.

Readers enjoy reading it and are willing to spend money to subscribe and support me, which is my biggest motivation.

Thank you to all the book friends who have supported me along the way! ! !

Finally, let’s talk about Pure Gold [Blue Eyes White Dragon].

The auction for that card was finally interrupted, and it was stuck at 87.32 million as everyone knows. (I definitely didn’t participate in it. I’m so poor now that I can’t even pay the 100 yuan deposit.)

Everyone knows that this number is a joke, and it is definitely impossible to actually make a deal.

It will be auctioned again in a while, and I expect the transaction price at that time to be more than 500,000, or even 1 million, which is also possible.

Because this card is so unique (laughs), there are 500 [Blue-Eyes White Dragon] in the world, and it is the only one with a court certificate, making Yu-Gi-Oh popular all over the country again.

This is of great significance. Aren’t all the collectors flocking to it?

Too many people are paying attention to that card.

By then, it will probably be a hot search again.

Maybe, this book can borrow some heat again and let me drink some soup, and I will be very happy! Hahaha......
