Everyday Players at Hogwarts

Chapter 43: Sirius's Regret

It's really that simple.

A little fire, wood, and a few magic spells that may only need to be learned in the second or third grade solved Voldemort's magic trap.

Although this is actually not easy, the reason why it is so easy is only because of Kreacher, a bug that can go directly to the hinterland of the magic trap.

But one thing that gave Harry a headache was that Ron was acting more inflated.

I’ll just say it!

We have broken through the defenses set up by Dumbledore and all the professors at Hogwarts, so what does Voldemort's mean! Ron said excitedly.

All petrified! Draco noticed that Regulus' marble-white fingers trembled and drew out his wand.

What about Regulus?

Just stay petrified like this? Draco frowned.

Sirius should have some idea.

What magical rituals are used to transform zombies or ghouls into obedient orders? Harry touched his chin.

Zombies? It stinks, and the dead body will ooze pus.

Not to mention ghouls, although they don't stink, they will become uglier.

If that's the case, it might as well be buried. Draco complained.

We cannot bury Master Regulus!

Master Regulus is still alive! He can move! Kreacher's white-haired bat ears trembled slightly, and he immediately screamed.

Regulus?

Kreacher, what else of my brother are you hiding here?

I won't throw these things away. I order you to put them back in his room. Sirius's lazy voice came from outside the boiler room.

Harry, you are here too.

It's almost dinner time now. Lupine said.

Then there was the sound of two people's footsteps approaching slowly.

Crunch!

The door was opened.

Why is Regulus so clean?

You are still alive! Where have you been all these years? Sirius rushed in and hugged Regulus' body.

Kreacher, who was next to him, wanted to push Sirius away, but was unable to do so because he was his master. He was so anxious that he almost cried.

Regulus' body without temperature made Sirius understand something.

Sirius trembled slightly and was silent for a long time, Kreacher!

What's going on!

Lupine on the side immediately understood what happened, and he held Sirius's trembling right hand in a comforting state.

Kreacher promised Master Regulus not to tell his family. Kreacher frowned and refused.

For some reason, Sirius didn't get angry. He stroked Regulus' body with trembling hands from time to time, as if he was thinking about something.

More like regret.

Maybe the Daily Prophet is right.

I thought I could sacrifice everything for justice.

But now I realize that I am just like Peter, I just didn’t realize it yet. Sirius croaked.

As a descendant of the Black family, an ancient clan proficient in black magic, he recognized Regulus at a glance as an Inferi in his current state.

A being that doesn't need to eat and hates all living people.

Because his body is intact and has no odor, he is used as a servant by the dark wizard and is more popular than zombies and ghouls.

In Sirius's view, this may be Voldemort's punishment for the Black family because he joined the Order of the Phoenix.

At this moment, even Ron knew that he should not show a happy expression anymore.

He looked at Harry and Draco, indicating with his eyes who would tell them the story of their adventures.

Sirius, that's it.

When we came to Kreacher's room today, we found Slytherin's locket. I opened it through Parseltongue. Harry pointed at the pile of plastic-like debris in the corner.

Harry didn't know why, but suddenly felt that something was wrong with this pile of fragments.

But concern about Sirius's mood at the moment made him ignore this.

Is Regulus hidden inside?

It fits the way Blake died. Sirius laughed to himself.

Slytherin's locket is one of Voldemort's treasures. As Sirius of the Black family, he was lucky enough to see it once when he was young.

And Voldemort was willing to use such a precious treasure to store the executed Regulus, probably for the sake of that crazy woman Bella.

After all, I heard that Voldemort was having an affair with her.

Is this the real reason why his mother went crazy?

His son was executed because of another son, and his body was put into Slytherin's treasure and given away.

This is really ridiculous.

Although Harry on the side didn't know that Sirius was thinking wildly about what he hadn't finished speaking.

But he could see that Sirius's sense of world-weariness was even stronger than the feeling of being disliked by Harry when he discovered that Scabbers was not Peter at Hogwarts.

So Harry coughed and continued, after I destroyed the locket with the spell used to defeat Voldemort, I learned from Kreacher's few words that Regulus was related to it.

Sirius' ears trembled slightly, but he was obviously no longer immersed in his own world.

Lupine, who didn't know what to do, motioned Harry to continue with his eyes.

Harry's lips curled up slightly when he realized that his method was effective. We learned from Kreacher's mouth that Voldemort once took Kreacher from Regulus and conducted an experiment that almost led to Kreacher's death.

However, because he did not pay attention to the magic of house elves, and Regulus asked Kreacher to go home after completing what Voldemort believed.

Kreacher was able to return to the Black family.

Regulus learned about Voldemort's horrific experiments and the whereabouts of the locket.

After he made a replica, he followed Kreacher to that place again. Harry said.

Then why didn't Regulus come back!

It was this elf! Sirius suddenly interrupted.

And why did Regulus go to that place.

Just for this box! Sirius was furious that his brother died because of a box.

This is Slytherin's box.

Maybe it has something to do with the safety of Hogwarts. Draco said.

He always felt that this box was related to the defensive magic of Hogwarts.

No, Harry said.

He felt like he was facing Voldemort when facing this.

And the box can speak for itself.

Have you read "The Tales of Beedle the Bard"? This is very similar to the story "The Hairy Heart of a Wizard" in it.

Could this be the reason why Voldemort is immortal! Ron suddenly said.

He may not be as knowledgeable as everyone present, but he knows the slang fairy tales in the wizarding world.

This is just a fairy tale. Draco frowned.

No, many of the stories in "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" are true, I have read them.

This locket may contain Voldemort's heart. Harry suddenly said.

He knows that the Deathly Hallows are real, so this story is also very likely.

Children, I don't care about this or that bullshit Voldemort.

I only care about my brother, why Regulus? Sirius said gloomily.
