Mrs. Helan had an ugly look on her face. She was trying to use Yan Ruke to divert the attention and at the same time, make Yan Qingsi and Yan Ruke clashed against each other. Unexpectedly, her plan backfired and the attention was once again back on her.

Yan Ruke, this lady. What a surprise that she was talking so nicely.

Yan Qingsi pouted. “Mrs. Helan’s right. I’m indeed a bad person. No doubt that I’m good at seducing other people’s men. However, I’m not as fortunate as Mrs. Helan who was able to edge out the fiancee and marry into the purple. You then had a son and a daughter and secured your title as Mrs. Helan. Tsk, tsk, what a big winner in life you are.”

Mrs. Helan curled her lips. She was indeed better off than anyone else but she was not satisfied being the big winner in life. She wanted both her son and daughter to be big winners in life.

Deep down in Mrs. Helan’s heart, she looked down upon Yan Qingsi as an inferior being who sabotaged her daughter’s path to success and seduced her son.

How could she let this low life go so easily?

Helan Xiuse saw that the slightly calm situation has started to heat up once again and started to panic. Fortunately, the doctor came and called them in for examinations.

The examination was really fast for Yan Qingsi. She almost did not get hurt as she was thrown underneath two people when the explosion happened.

Yan Ruke walked up to her and said, “Let’s have a chat, just you and I.”

Yan Qingsi laughed coldly and agreed, “Alright.”

She could see that Yan Ruke came over, looking for her specifically and not for Yue Tingfeng or Helan Fangnian.

Both of them turned around and walked through the emergency exit and stopped at the corner of the staircase.

Before Yan Ruke could open her mouth, Yan Qingsi threw her fist and punched hard onto Yan Ruke’s tummy.

It caught Yan Ruke off guard. Yan Qingsi laid out her punches strategically. After a few rounds, Yan Ruke was leaning against the wall, and her body curled up like a ball as she was in great pain.

Yan Qingsi stopped, “This vision had been playing in my mind over and over again. Every time I see you, I’ll hit you, until I die or you die.”

Yan Ruke’s face twisted in pain. “You… you…”

Yan Qingsi let out an evil laugh and spat, “Between the two of us, it’s either you die or I die. As long as I’m alive, I’ll not let you live an easy life.”

Yn Ruke clenched her arms around her tummy and stood up slowly. “I want to make peace with you. Would you agree to it?”

Yan Qingsi scoffed, “Do you think it’s possible?”

Yan Ruke’s expression was pale. Sweat was beading on her forehead from the pain that she was suffering from, and she replied, “Actually, there was no direct conflict between the two of us. Though you might not believe me, I really want to resolve this grudge between us. In the future, no matter for better or for worse, if I were alive or dead, we no longer have anything to do with each other. Alright?”

The smile on Yan Qingsi’s face became even more evil. “Oh yeah? I’m curious how could both of us have nothing to do with each other.”

Yan Ruke spoke through her clenched teeth. “Believe it or not. The sole reason I came today was to tell you that I’m no longer a threat to you.”

“If I were to seek revenge, I would not have informed Helan Fangnian yesterday. All I had to do was just to wait for you to die.”

“I don’t have to know your motive, all I need to know is my intention,” Yan Qingsi snapped. She had always wanted the Yan family members to be wiped off, and that was a goal that she had never changed.

“Yan Qingsi, it’s true that I had ill intentions toward you in the past, but I’ve gotten over it. I would not steal Yue Tingfeng from you and I wouldn’t even get close to him. Let there be no resentment between us.”
