Ji Mianmian opened her mouth and gasped. “Really? Why didn’t you say so earlier? I’ll get lost then…” she said as she made a dash for the door.

Ye Shaoguang clenched his fist and gritted his teeth. “Come back here.”

Ji Mianmian stopped. “What’s that? You can’t be regretting it already, right?”

“Clothes. Wear them.” Ye Shaoguang was practically squeezing those words out from the cracks between his teeth.

Momentarily stunned, Ji Mianmian finally realized she was stark naked. Feeling slightly embarrassed, she smiled, “Uh oh, sorry about that, sorry. I nearly forgot about it. I’ll wear them now. I’ll wear them now. Mr. Ye, you’re such a good person.”

Ye Shaoguang snickered as he thought, ‘Mr. Ye, a good person?’

That was a dramatic change in the way she addressed him.

It took Ji Mianmian no time at all to wear her clothes. “I’ll be going then. Remember, you have to help my goddess.”

Ji Mianmian kindly stretched out her hand and helped Ye Shaoguang smoothen up ta crease on his shirt that she made.

Ye Shaoguang thwacked away her hand. “Ji Mianmian…don’t ever show up in front of me. When you see me next time, stay the hell away from me, and don’t let me see you.”

Ji Mianmian nodded in rapid succession. “No problem, no problem…I’ll definitely avoid you. If I can’t, I’ll make sure you don’t see my face. I understand. Don’t worry.”

“Next time, don’t just take off all your clothes in front of a man. As a woman, you need to learn how to spell the word ‘restraint’.”

Ji Mianmian pouted. “I only know how to spell the word ‘idiot’.”

Yan Qingsi went back to the hotel and bumped into the film editor as well as the assistant director. They smiled when they saw her, trying to flatter and fawn over her.

The film editor smiled and remarked, “Qingsi, you seem to be in high spirits lately. Come to the set today, everyone’s waiting for you.”

Yan Qingsi cocked her brow and grinned smugly, “Keep ’em waiting. What does it have to do with me? I’m a self-righteous person anyway, and the entire country knows. Why should I be courteous with you when my reputation’s already been tarnished like that?”

Yue Tingfeng’s face sported an indulgent smile. He loved it when Yan Qingsi unleashed her unbridled self.
