From Hogwarts to Strixhaven
Chapter 137 Avada Kedavra
"Avada Kedavra!"
A dazzling green light flashed, and Harry returned to the spot, with a shrill scream still lingering in his ears.
Until now, he still couldn't understand what had happened.
The evening breeze blew through his messy black hair, and Harry came back to his senses and looked at the row of brick and stone country houses in front of him.
Harry was not sure whether they belonged to wizards or Muggles, because until now, he had not seen wizard buildings other than Diagon Alley and Hogwarts.
The row of houses in front of him was not as crooked as those in Diagon Alley, and looked very neat. The half-man-high hedge separated the courtyard in front of the house from the road under Harry's feet. Many green ivy was climbing on the walls of the house. Bright and warm light shone through the windows of each household, making it particularly warm.
Harry felt relieved and walked along the cement road under his feet to the end of the row of houses.
This was the only house without lights on. It looked like it had three floors and should be a warm home for a couple.
Harry put his hand on the iron door. It looked very smooth and must have been used frequently.
Maybe the owner just went out to buy supplies? Harry was a little curious about what the owner of the house looked like.
His eyes moved to the side and saw the brass nameplate on the brick wall.
"Potter." Harry smiled. This surname is not uncommon in England. It seems to refer to masons or potters at first. There are a large number of Potters among Muggles.
The lights in the three-story cottage were suddenly lit, as if they were lit specifically for him.
Harry loosened his hand on the iron door, but the iron door opened for him. He hesitated for a moment and went into the small yard where everything was in order. Standing in front of the wooden door, he didn't know what to do.
Just when Harry finally raised his hand to knock on the door, a woman pushed the door open from the inside.
She was obviously startled by Harry standing outside the door, but immediately, a beautiful smile bloomed on her face.
Harry could swear that it was the most beautiful smile he had ever seen.
The woman standing at the door was also beautiful, with dark red hair and green eyes, exactly like Harry's.
"Harry!" The woman called Harry's name affectionately and pulled him into the house, "I was wondering where you went crazy again! Why didn't you come back at dinner time? Well, my dear son, go wash your hands and get ready for dinner, Dad is waiting in the dining room."
She is my mother.
Harry was shocked.
Only then did he realize that his mother was exactly the same as the image reflected in the Mirror of Erised, but it suddenly changed from a flat surface to a real person, so Harry couldn't react for a while.
Tears blurred his eyes at some point, but he didn't want to waste time wiping them, just wanted to take another look.
Lily Potter talked about the trivialities of a housewife, just like Harry had dreamed countless times, she noticed the changes in her son behind her, turned her head to look at him, and saw tears flowing down Harry's cheeks.
"What's wrong?" Lily Potter hugged her son, just like eleven years ago, holding him tightly in her arms, and patting his vest with one hand.
"I just..." Harry didn't know where to put his hand at first, but finally put it on the red hair on his mother's back obediently, "I just miss you so much..."
"Hehe." Lily Potter's laughter was very pleasant. She put her cheek against Harry's and said softly, "I've always been..."
"Boom--"
Harry turned his head. The noise came from the hallway. He was not the only one who was startled.
A male voice approached quickly from the direction of the restaurant: "Lily? Are you okay? Harry!"
It was a tall but thin man. He also wore round glasses, with messy black hair. A tuft of hair on the back of his head stood up disobediently, just like Harry's.
"You go in, I'll go out and take a look." James Potter said at the door of the restaurant, and then he told Harry, "You are already a good boy, Harry. Protect your mother, okay?"
Harry nodded and watched James Potter leave. He suddenly wanted to touch the scar on his forehead, but all he touched was sweat beads due to nervousness.
"Dad!" Harry shouted.
James Potter turned around, gave his son an encouraging smile, and then disappeared behind the door.
The green fluorescence reflected into the living room through the wall. Before Harry could figure out what was going on, he heard the sound of something heavy falling to the ground.
A figure wrapped in a black robe floated in from the hallway, and under the robe raised a thin and pale hand, holding a wand.
Harry felt his mother hugging him tightly, never so tight.
"Avada Kedavra!"
No mistake, one post, one content, one 6, one 9, one book, one bar!
The green light seemed to flicker for a century, and Harry had never felt breathing so difficult.
The gas seemed to condense in his chest, and a chill penetrated his skin, chilling his chest and his heart...
He was drowned in the cold, his ears were surging, like water hitting his body, he sank, and the roar in his ears became louder...
There were screams in the distance, terrible, frightened, begging screams.
...
Harry took a deep breath, like a drowning man finally coming to the surface...
He stood on the street again at dusk.
Under his feet was a mossy cement road, with neat hedges on the side of the road, and a row of neat houses covered with lovely green ivy.
Harry quickened his pace and walked towards the house at the end of the road...

"What a brilliant magic." Dumbledore and Ivy stood in front of the last checkpoint leading to the Mirror of Erised, which was an illusion created by Ivy using ancient magic. Although from the outside, it looked like an endless grassland, Ivy himself had no idea what kind of scene people who entered it would encounter.
A goat looked out from the wall, and seemed to be very curious whether the guy with a white beard in front of him was his own kind.
"This is much more delicate and vivid than the portraits hanging all over Hogwarts." Dumbledore studied it for a while, and finally gave up, "It seems that the two little wizards have already entered."
"I can't think of any other possibilities." Ivy stretched out his finger and tapped the wall, splashing circles of ripples.
"Can we see what they experienced in there?" Dumbledore's blue eyes were full of curiosity. At his age, he rarely saw new things.
"Yes, just like using a pensieve, we will stand beside them." Ivy nodded, took out the ancient magic wand made of goblin magic silver, and put it into the water waves on the wall to stir it. A vortex gradually expanded and finally became a person-high entrance. "Please, Professor Dumbledore."
