From Hogwarts to Strixhaven
Chapter 168 A good start
Gilderoy Lockhart caused a big trouble in his first class.
Since Ivy reformed the Defense Against the Dark Arts timetable, the Defense Against the Dark Arts class of this semester was mixed with the two houses.
Ivy heard that Lockhart brought a cage of Cornish pixies as a teaching aid to the second-year Slytherin and Gryffindor classes.
According to what Ivy heard, the students of the two houses somehow started fighting, and Lockhart could only hide under the podium trembling. It was not until Professor McGonagall deducted 50 points from both Gryffindor and Slytherin that the riot was ended.
It seems that even sharing the house cup did not make the relationship between the two houses closer, and fighting side by side was the same. At least Malfoy and Harry are still mortal enemies. One will do everything possible to let the other "show off", and the other will pinch his nose in response, supplemented by vicious words such as "undead troll excrement".
It was a waste of talent for Harry not to come to Slytherin, at least his vicious tongue was almost catching up with Professor Snape.
Red-haired Ron was not helpful because he really wore the new robes given to him by Malfoy this year - as a thank you gift for saving his life.
Ivy heard this information when he was chatting with Hagrid.
The investigation team of the Ministry of Magic had left. Ivy was relieved that Hagrid recognized him at a glance instead of asking him questions about his height, but he was not sure whether Hagrid's description was good or bad - growing as fast as a bird snake.
Bird snakes are a very magical animal that can be so big that they can fill the entire room and can easily get into a teapot. Ivy got a few bird snake eggs a hundred years ago, but they were locked in crystal before they could hatch.
I don't know what happened to them now. Maybe they were sold by a student who accidentally entered the Room of Requirement? The eggshells of the bird snake are made of pure silver and are expensive. The dark wizards who brought them to the vicinity of Hogwarts might have wanted to sell them for a good price, but Ivy cheated them.
The Scottish Highlands where Hogwarts is located is a mountainous area. The famous wizard village Hogsmeade is located next to the school wall, but apart from these two wizard gathering places, it is almost all mountainous, that is, the school was built surrounded by mountains.
"Few Muggles will come here!" Ivy agreed with Hagrid's judgment, because he thought so too.
"Is Norbeta doing well? Can she fly?" Hagrid blinked his big eyes like a black beetle and asked with interest.
Ivy came here to seek benefits for Norbeta. As a Norwegian ridgeback dragon, it should not continue to be trapped in the dark underground facilities.
"She eats a lot and is in good spirits." Ivy checked her growth when she was carving the teleportation array for the Chamber of Secrets. The naughty fire dragon has begun to challenge the authority of her adoptive mother.
But Xiaoyan, as an elemental creature, was not afraid of Norbeta's flames at all. She pressed her adopted daughter to the ground in a few seconds. Seeing this scene of a loving mother and a filial daughter, Ivy was really happy.
"I have managed to contact the Ministry of Magic, and I hope they can issue a dragon breeding license for Hogwarts as soon as possible. But I guess they may prefer the idea that the dragon protects the habitat." Ivy briefly described his efforts, and the part that was not said was mainly attributed to Lucius and Mr. Nott, Director of the Department for the Management and Control of Magical Creatures.
"Great! I knew you would be reliable!" Since the Chamber of Secrets Investigation Team left Hogwarts, Hagrid has been energetic in doing everything, but Ivy sincerely hopes that he will not use this energy to make rock cakes.
Last time he brought a few to Norbeta, but she ignored them. It seems that even if fire dragons are classified as reptiles, they don't have the habit of swallowing stones to help digestion.
Perhaps seeing Ivy's embarrassment, Hagrid kindly reached out to help him break up the rock skin cake and soak it in the hunter's soup he made. Onions, potatoes and carrots floated next to the big cakes, as well as some meat that Ivy couldn't name. Ivy prayed that it was a rabbit.
His appetite grew along with his body size, and Ivy was already very hungry after dealing with two exams. He stirred the soup with a big wooden spoon, and then used magic to make the wooden spoon a little smaller. The size of the thing was almost catching up with the gardening shovel in Professor Sprout's greenhouse.
"It tastes great." Hagrid's hunter's soup made full use of the special aroma of the ingredients, making them work well together. Ivy felt a sense of satisfaction. It seems that our half-giant friend just has too good teeth, not a pica. But Ivy must admit that the stoat sandwich does not look good.
Ivy was finally able to confirm that Hagrid's rock cakes did use flour well. At least after being soaked in the thick soup, they could be easily ground by Ivy's teeth.
This was undoubtedly a satisfying meal, especially the portion.
"What else do you have to do this afternoon?" Hagrid asked with great interest, "I heard that you are going to participate in O.W.L.s this year, and the headmaster has specially allowed you to study on your own. I don't think that's much different from 'I'm free' - so do you want to come and see my pumpkins? They will all be used to decorate the Halloween party, and they will be harvested in a few weeks... I plan to use the expansion spell to give them some strength!"
Hagrid deliberately lowered his voice when talking about the "expansion spell", and his eyes kept glancing at the pink umbrella by the door.
There is no mistake, one, one, one, one, one, one, one, one 619, one book, one, one, one, one, one, one, a book!
His wands were hidden in it. At first, when Hogwarts fired him because of the instructions of the Ministry of Magic, he deliberately cut off his wand. However, Dumbledore used his old wand to repair it for Hagrid. Generally speaking, the damaged wand could not be repaired, but the old wand was an exception. Avi thinks that this may also be some kind of magic of "death and recovery", but the acting object can only be a magic wand.
Perhaps because Ivey has raised dragons with Hagrid, even if something is not legal now, Hagrid is willing to share it with Avi. This may be a "partnership" or "co -crime" to some extent?
"Actually, I'm not really so idle." Ivey saw Hagrid's eyes dark, and he then said, "Especially after taking the course of protecting magical animals."
Hayge's smile came out of his thick beard again: "Have you haven't seen that 'base' yet? Since it was built, Professor Celtic Bon has been soaked there. We plan to be after Halloween. It was opened to students from all grades, and only the night of the night and some unicorn ran in the pasture.
