From Hogwarts to Strixhaven
Chapter 25 Confinement in the Potions Classroom
"What are you doing, Mr. Doom..." Professor Snape asked involuntarily when he walked into his potion class.
Ivy, who was standing in front of him, was flipping through the Destruction Grimoire in his hand, and behind Ivy were countless potion materials flying in the air.
They included dead mice and various parts of mice. As frequent visitors to potion studies, mice were obviously very dedicated. Their tails could be used to make hair-standing potions, which could make the hair on the drinker's head stand up to the sky; spleens could be used to make shrinking potions, which were equivalent to an extended version of shrinking...
There were also Flobberworms that were grabbed by one head by an invisible force and then spun out mucus at high speed; and leeches that were severely flattened...
In addition to biological potion materials, there were also plant species. Snape saw daisy roots that were being chopped into pieces, neatly peeled ginger roots, dry nettles cut into segments for standby use, and many plant materials that had long been unrecognizable.
Snape's voice was not loud, and he even forgot to be angry because of surprise.
However, Ivy, who had very sensitive senses, still noticed him, so he closed the page of the book and made an expression that he was listening carefully to the instructions.
"I remember I said it very clearly... Use your "hands" to handle these materials yourself! Do you still want to extend your confinement time?" Snape hissed, and emphasized the word "hand".
"Oh!" Ivy raised a finger, "In fact, it is indeed my hand that controls these potions."
Ivy snapped his fingers, and all the potion materials flying in the air stopped moving.
Then, the blue magic aura began to appear, and many ghost-like arms emerged from the void. It was they who showed their "hands" in this potion classroom before.
That's right, it was the 0-ring trick of the Mage's Hand that helped Ivy a lot.
Previously, Ivy successfully released the Mage's Hand by destroying the magic book, so he obtained a new profession called "Scribe Mage", but on the character panel, the profession level of the Scribe Mage is still level 0.
So in order to improve his professional level, Ivy began to try any action that might gain experience.
The first thing he thought of was, of course, to kill monsters.
But the teachers and students of Hogwarts were all his brothers and sisters, beloved relatives and friends, how could he just do it casually?
So after dinner, he stayed in the Slytherin common room for a long time, hoping that someone would come to find trouble, so that he would have an excuse to send all the people standing in the Slytherin common room to the school hospital like the night of the opening banquet.
However, to his disappointment, although all the students who were still in the common room couldn't help but pay attention to him, no one came up to talk to him, and no one even had the courage to look him in the eye.
This made him begin to doubt whether he had been too heavy-handed.
But thinking that he didn't use "Avada to bite the big melon" at all, Ivy dispelled the idea of self-doubt.
And because Snape's confinement time had arrived, Ivy had to go to Snape's potion classroom with regret and reluctance.
However, when processing the potion materials, he found that his experience value began to increase, although the increase was small, but it was indeed increasing.
Therefore, in order to increase the efficiency of brushing experience, Ivy began to use the Mage's Hand. But the efficiency that can be increased by only one hand is still too little, so Ivy decided to find a solution in the expertise.
You really don't say, he really found it.
First, there is such a specialty - telekinesis.
It can increase Ivy's main attribute of the caster, and then increase the duration and maximum output of the spell of the Mage's Hand, and can make the Mage's Hand invisible. The most important thing is that it can allow Ivy to gain the ability to move objects with thoughts.
Then there is another specialty - Super Magic Mentor.
This is an ability to add additional gains to spells by consuming spell points. Other super magic specialties provided in the Destruction Grimoire either have harsh prerequisites or poor versatility.
In comparison, the super magic mentor whose prerequisite only requires the ability to cast spells undoubtedly takes into account both practicality and versatility.
And the super magic abilities that Ivy chose are twin spells and extended spells.
The wizard's hand, cast by super magic ability, soon helped a lot, which was equivalent to having one more person to deal with the potion materials.
But soon Ivy was not satisfied with the status quo. Since he could use the Destruction Grimoire to release spells, why couldn't he transform this spell into a spell that was more in line with the temperament of local magic?
There is no doubt that the brilliant Ivy once again ushered in his failure.
There is no way to cast DND spells without arcane magic tools, even if ancient magic is used. There is no doubt that the two systems are fundamentally different.
No mistakes, one post, one content, one 6, one 9, one book, one bar!
But Ivy did not gain nothing. At least he found a way to prevent the wizard's hand from disappearing.
Normally, there can only be one wizard's hand, but the spells blessed by the super magic mentor can be taken over by Ivy's own wizard magic.
So, he released the wizard's hand over and over again, and then took over them with his own wizard magic, and so on and so forth, which led to the scene that Snape saw when he entered the door.
"Stop immediately! And put them back!" Snape's footsteps were like the wind, blowing towards Ivy, "If I find out that you wasted even a little bit..."
"I'm afraid that's unavoidable." Ivy interrupted Snape before he finished speaking, "For the advancement of magic, there is always a small price to pay... But now the efficiency is more than ten times higher than before! So I think..."
"Do you think a little waste can be forgiven?" Snape took up Ivy's words with anger, "Those are the materials for tomorrow's class. You've processed them all now. Do you expect me to give you extra points?"
Ivy shrugged and tilted his head to look at the potion materials behind him that had almost been processed: "If you don't mind... Anyway, I just helped my classmates get the powder of dried nettles and venomous snake teeth, which is considered a trivial work... At least those slugs are still alive and well!"
Snape was completely shocked by Ivy's attitude at this time. He didn't expect there were such shameless people in the world!
Facing his criticism, she showed no regret at all. This was simply a huge provocation.
"Very good, very good, Mr. Doom." Snape's tone suddenly returned to its previous calmness. "Since you actively help your classmates complete tomorrow's homework after class, Slytherin will get five points. And as a reward, your detention time will be doubled."
