78. The World Famous Painting of Noah Enjoying the Afterparty

Coincidentally, at that moment, this street, which was not bustling and could even be described as quaint, was completely deserted.

Only the six of them remained.

Valentina and Agatha, the two princesses of the kingdom, were caught in a chaotic melee with the four demons, a scene of utter disorder.

“What’s wrong?! Is this all you’ve got?! Come on! Face me head-on!”

Amidst the chaos, Valentina also noticed that Agatha, the Dragon-slaying Princess, was even more combative than her portrayal in the novels.

Though she hadn’t reached the level of a battle maniac, she was quite direct, wielding her famed sword and charging straight at the two who appeared to be the strongest, the two largest in size.

Not only was she targeting the strongest, but she was also continuously provoking them.

Valentina thought to herself that surely no one would fall for such provocations, yet, surprisingly, someone did.

“You little brat, you really dare to talk back! Watch me beat you into submission and violate you!”

The male demon, standing about two meters tall, was clearly a brute who never used his brain. With a surge of bloodlust, he charged straight at Agatha, completely disregarding his three teammates.

Seeing their reckless ally act so foolishly, the other three demons could only sigh in resignation.

Originally, the three of them could have kept their reckless teammate in check.

The plan was simple: defeat Valentina, make her feel powerless and confused, and then Alan would conveniently appear to assist her.

This would allow Alan to begin his own minotaur-like antics.

But they hadn’t anticipated that the opposing side also had a brute. Now, with two brutes clashing, they couldn’t afford to stick to their plan; if they didn’t act soon, their reckless teammate would be cut down.

After all, how could he be called a teammate when he couldn’t even see such an obvious disparity?

That flat-chested blonde princess over there was clearly much stronger; even if their leader Alan showed up, it would likely be a fifty-fifty fight.

Yet, even if the demons abandoned their plan and fought with all their might against Agatha and Valentina, the battle was over in less than ten minutes.

“Hmph! A bunch of weaklings, and you think you can attack human towns with this level of strength?”

Valentina stared in astonishment at the bizarre scene unfolding before her.

Her ancestor stood majestically, sword pointed at a severely injured demon with a severed arm, while the other three demons were on the brink of death, unable to even speak.

Why was it bizarre? At first, she had helped to fend off two demons, but somehow it had turned into a four-on-one, and she was merely watching the show.

Even when she considered joining the fight, Agatha told her to just observe.

That’s why she found the scene so strange.

Is this the power of a dragon-slaying hero?

Could I become like this in the future…?

Valentina, who had originally harbored a sense of admiration for Agatha’s effortless defeat of four demons—despite her own struggles against three—now felt that admiration intensify.

Her gaze toward her ancestor grew increasingly dreamy.

The princess even thought that if she possessed such strength, perhaps the evil god would seriously praise her for once instead of making jokes.

“Gah, damn it! Are you really human? You’re nothing but a monster!”

The only one still able to move was the male demon, a brute with thick blood and high defense.

The other three demons were on the verge of death, their bodies riddled with the massive wounds inflicted by Agatha.

Watching his teammates fall one by one, the male demon pressed against his severed arm and let out a roar filled with unwillingness directed at Agatha.

Valentina had initially thought Agatha would merely retort that the male demon was the real monster.

But Agatha’s next words made Valentina’s admiration for her become much clearer.

“Hah? I’m the monster? You lowly races are the real disgrace! Humans are meant to possess this kind of strength! It’s your existence that limits the vast majority of people, you know!”

Agatha’s face, which had already been marked with disdain, now twisted into hatred, as if she were looking at an irredeemable enemy who had killed her father.

“…Are you out of your mind? The lowly race is you humans; you’re just an exception. How could you possibly relate to us demons?”

Agatha’s overly agitated reaction was like stepping on a landmine, leaving the demon male with an expression of disbelief.

“How could it possibly be fine! It’s all your fault, you ugly and inferior beings! Humans will always be so weak! My mission is to exterminate all of you lowly creatures! Whether it’s dragons or your demon kind!”

Agatha spoke with the fervor of a zealot, her expression twisted in rage.

Not only the demon male, but even Valentina began to wonder if Agatha was a bit too strange.

However, Valentina wisely chose to remain silent, continuing to observe everything from the sidelines.

It proved to be the right choice, as she was merely a bystander; even if she said nothing, the demon male would continue to speak.

“Ha, ha, ha! I get it! You’re a human supremacist, aren’t you! You think all non-human races are inferior, that the strong should be exterminated and the weak enslaved, right? Like exterminating dragons and us demons, while using the relatively weaker beastmen and elves as playthings to please humans, am I right?”

Sure enough, after being momentarily stunned by Agatha’s words, the demon male suddenly pressed down on his severed arm and burst into laughter.

But by the end of his laughter, flames of hatred ignited in his eyes, glaring furiously at the true monster princess before him.

“That’s right, that’s exactly what I think. Do you have a problem with that?”

Agatha faced that furious gaze head-on, neither denying nor retreating, casually acknowledging it all.

Now Valentina dared not cast a longing glance at Agatha; rather, she furrowed her brows in concern.

Huh? Was her ancestor this radical?

After all, it couldn’t be that she would wage war against all non-human races; there were plenty of non-humans occupying key positions within the kingdom. Wouldn’t her actions lead to the kingdom’s destruction?

Could it be that her early demise in history wasn’t due to an accident, but rather because she was too radical and had to be dealt with in secret?

Valentina felt as if she had unexpectedly stumbled upon the truth of the matter.

“A problem? Ha, no, I have no problem. If you want to go ahead and do it, then by all means. But to me, you seem even more like a demon than we demons do.”

Agatha’s demeanor made even the radical demon male feel she was too extreme.

Surely Agatha was the so-called conservative type, the most conservative of conservatives.

But he was certain that this human princess, even more reckless than himself, would eventually self-destruct.

Thus, the demon male abandoned his final struggle, at least planning to spill his blood on her beautiful face.

Because that face was already twisted and terrifying.

“Shut up, you trash. Since you’ve finished speaking, it’s my turn to ask. Now tell me, where is the evil god?”

Agatha did not waver in her beliefs due to the demon male’s words; she simply recalled her true purpose for being here and coldly questioned the defeated.

…Huh? The evil god?

Upon hearing a voice she couldn’t ignore, Valentina’s body trembled slightly.
