Green Monster Epic

#86 - What you want

Chapter 86: Wishes Fulfilled

Alan signed his name on the contract with a grim face. As the light on the contract flashed and disappeared, it felt as if a shackle had been added to the minds of both Alan and the Bonecrusher.

"I'm sorry, Chieftain Alan. It was my lack of discipline that caused these guys in my tribe to go out and cause trouble."

The Bonecrusher's apology seemed full of sincerity, his eyes filled with concern and regret.

Alan had just walked back from the brink of death, and his heart was still racing nervously. It was impossible for him not to be angry. However, the situation was really unfavorable for him. Even if he wanted to avenge the assassin, signing the peace treaty was more important. Alan couldn't afford to lose big over small things, so he could only suppress his anger and respond with a cold face.

"I hope Elder Bonecrusher can discipline your tribesmen well. Next time, they might not be so lucky."

"Of course, of course. When I get back, I'll punish this bastard by depriving him of food for three days!"

Regarding a fresh life, the final punishment was just being banned from eating for three days. This made Alan feel extremely indignant, but what could he do? He couldn't possibly tear up the agreement with the other party again right now. If he did, not only would the contract he had just signed be a joke, but Alan's soul might even be taken back by the Contract Demon and become one of its collectibles.

"Goodbye!"

Out of sight, out of mind. Now that the goal had been achieved, Alan didn't want to look at the dog-headed man in front of him and make himself feel uncomfortable. After leaving those two words on the spot, he turned around and left.

Flower Snake was very unhappy. He waved the nail-headed hammer in his hand at Night, making a threatening 'Goo goo' sound, but only received a contemptuous smile from the other party. This made him burst into thunderous rage. After glaring at the other party, he chased after Alan and Da Shan's backs.

"Your behavior this time was too risky. If it weren't for you, maybe we could have obtained better conditions."

Looking at Alan and the others' departing figures, Bonecrusher frowned slightly as he held the duplicate of the contract in his hand, and reprimanded Night in a low voice.

"I'm sorry, Elder, I just can't accept it. Why should these green skins be able to negotiate terms with us!"

Night still had a stubborn look on his face, his eyes looking at the horizon where Alan and the others disappeared, filled with war-like factors jumping.

"They have the capital. If you guys were more competitive and could face the green-skinned chieftain Alan head-on without falling behind, how could I be threatened by him and sign this contract with them!"

"It seems that you have been living too comfortably. This is also good, let you know that there is such a powerful opponent by your side. Are you still embarrassed to be lazy and play tricks every day?"

"After returning, the training volume of all the warriors in the tribe will be doubled until the next advanced professional appears!"

With the contract signed, Bonecrusher could no longer wage war against the Green Field Tribe. At this time, feeling frustrated, he vented his dark emotions on his tribesmen.

Hearing Bonecrusher's punishment, Zul, Mier, and Night's faces rose with an ominous feeling. But seeing Bonecrusher's gloomy old face, no one dared to refute on the spot, and could only pinch their noses and accept it.

"Whoever is the first to advance, I will let him sit on the position of chieftain!"

Then Bonecrusher's words made the faces of the three people present show surprise, and their whole bodies seemed to burst out with endless vitality, and their eyes were also full of fighting spirit.

"Yes!"

With a firm response, the three dog-headed men turned their heads to look at the competitors around them, and all issued provocative gazes without accepting each other.

"Let's go, let's go back too."

Bonecrusher waved his hand, rested his half-man-high staff on the ground, and walked slowly towards the direction of the tribe. In a battle, although his physical strength consumption was not as great as the young green skin, the fatigue from the heart after casting more than a dozen spells was also unmasked. The sequelae brought about by excessive brain use made Bonecrusher's already dead spirit even more depressed.

The picture returned to Alan's line of advance, Da Shan and Flower Snake surrounded Alan excitedly, chatting with him about the wonderful moments in the previous battle. Faced with the magical and unpredictable magic, although Chieftain Alan did not retreat completely, his strength was undoubtedly displayed in this battle, making Flower Snake and Da Shan admire him.

"...Hiss, if you guys want to talk, just talk. Don't use your hands and feet!"

Don't look at him walking vigorously, unable to see any morbid state at all. In fact, Alan's entire body's skin was burned, and then soaked in salty sweat. That kind of pain was not something that ordinary people could endure. However, Alan was afraid of revealing his weakness in front of the dog-headed men, letting them see the essence of his exhausted state. Therefore, he had been gritting his teeth and persevering. Even now that he had left the sight range of the dog-headed men, Alan was still afraid that the thief who suddenly attacked him would follow him, and he didn't dare to show his decadence in front of the two tribesmen.

Until Flower Snake slapped his injured chest with his careless hand, Alan, who could no longer bear it, kicked him on the spot, gritted his teeth, and sucked in a cold breath. At the same time, he did not forget to kick over this reckless bastard.

Thanks to the bear goblin's thick skin and flesh, and his innate ability to have extremely strong magic resistance, as well as his best efforts to use all his anger to wrap his body, Alan was able to withstand those few breaths under Bonecrusher's Dragon Breath Technique. Otherwise, in the face of the opponent's instant Dragon Breath Technique, which was comparable to the power of a Tier 5 spell, Alan would have been burned into a piece of charcoal on the spot.

Even so, Alan's entire body, including the skin covered by the leather armor, was severely burned. A healing spell for minor injuries only reduced some of Alan's pain and restored some of the less severe burns on his body, but it could not fundamentally heal the injury.

"Ah, I didn't know..."

Flower Snake, who got up from the ground, scratched his head and ears and hurriedly defended himself, wanting to come forward to help, but looking at Alan, who was dark and full of devastation, he didn't know where to start.

"A bunch of things with no eyesight, stay away from me!"

What else could Alan do? He could only endure it himself, persevering in the direction of the tribe, slowly moving forward. By the time he walked back to Green Lake Village, his entire gum had almost been crushed by him. When he entered the village wall and concealed his figure, Alan relaxed, and the whole person fell straight down, and was quickly caught by Flower Snake and Da Shan, who had been paying attention to him. They hurriedly carried him back to the cool tent.

"Go, call that human over for me!"

"Send two more people to collect some herbs in the wilderness and bring them back."

Chahua was the first to discover Alan's return, and also the first to discover Chieftain Alan's collapse. She, who did not know the situation of the meeting, was also very flustered at this time. While opening her sharp voice and shouting loudly, she also helped to tidy up the messy tent, giving Alan a place to recuperate.
