Growing Fond of You, Mr Nian

Hearing Nian Xi’s firm tone made Jiang Yuning’s heart pound.

Earlier, she almost drove him crazy by kissing and touching him on the couch. Tonight, they would be sleeping in the same room. He couldn’t imagine what Nian Xi had in mind.

Because of the robot, he had already upset Nian Junting. If, in addition to that, he was about to break the promise he made to him, Nian Junting would eat him alive.

On the way back to Jiang Yuning’s apartment, Nian Xi bought herself some clothes to change into.

Uncle Han was already home. Earlier, Jiang Yuning had texted him about what was happening. Seeing Nian Xi and Jiang Yuning come back, Uncle Han gave them a mysterious smile, then said, “Ms. Nian, I have prepared a towel and pajamas for you. They’re all in Mr. Jiang’s room already.”

“Thank you.” Uncle Han’s thoughtfulness made Nian Xi feel satisfied. “Where’s Ms.He?” she asked.

“Still in the lab,” said Uncle Han.

“She’s so professional,” Nian Xi nodded. Then she held Jiang Yuning’s hand and said, “Let’s go back to our room.”

Watching Mr. Jiang let himself be dragged away by Nian Xi without resisting made Uncle Han click his tongue. Ms. He has no chance to win at all, he thought.

Who in the world could be more possessive and more passionate to control of the situation than Ms. Nian?

On the way to the bedroom, Nian Xi and Jiang Yuning bumped into He Xin as she was coming out of the lab. Seeing the two, He Xin had a confused look in her eyes.

“You guys came home. Yuning, can you do me a favor? There are a few chips that I don’t know where you dismantled them from.”

“No way,” Nian Xi smiled. “Ms. He, you created that robot. Don’t you know where those chips belong?”

“Because all the chips look similar. The robot was water damaged, some information in the chips is gone…” He Xin forced a smile. ”

“Go,” Nian Xi nodded at Jiang Yuning. Then she put her mouth near his ear and whispered, “Come back to me as soon as you can. I bought new underwear. You need to wash them for me.”

Jiang Yuning’s cheeks immediately reddened.

He nervously gasped for air. Deep down, he was slightly happy and excited.

“Em,” he said.

He followed He Xin back to the lab and picked up the chips but was distracted the whole time.

“Yuning, Ms. Nian is your girlfriend, but you and I grew up together. You can’t forget about your friend just because you have a girlfriend now,” He Xin said with a bitter smile.
