Chapter 80:
Although many Qing engraved editions are now included in the ranks of rare books, most of those Qing engraved editions were official engraved editions before Qianlong. If family engraved editions like this during the Guangxu period were to be included in the ranks of rare editions, it would take another hundred years to wait. almost.
That's right, this book has been authenticated by Yang Jing with a ring, and it is indeed a family-printed copy from the Guangxu period. Of course, the ring also gave a definite answer, that is, Liu Zheng and Liu Shiqi were indeed from the Kangxi period.
For this kind of store owner who played tricks, Yang Jing would of course lower the price severely, and directly offered a price of 1,000.
The store owner's tricks were exposed by Yang Jing on the spot, what else could he do to refute it?
Apparently not anymore.
Moreover, the price given by Yang Jing was neither high nor low, and it happened to be stuck in the throat of the price of this kind of family-printed book in the late Qing Dynasty. It was basically the most suitable price for this kind of book at present.
The owner of the store obviously also saw that Yang Jing was an expert, otherwise he wouldn't have seen the tricks in this book at a glance, and would have said the current price of this book in one bite.
However, the boss still held the mentality of fighting for it and said: Little brother, the price you gave is really low, why don't you increase it?
Yang Jing shook his head slightly and said: There's no way to increase it, this book is at this price now. And the Qing engraved edition is definitely not the official engraved edition before Qianlong, otherwise it won't have greatly increased in the past few years, I will buy it back It can only be collected.
If it weren't for the fact that this book still contained some treasure, Yang Jing wouldn't be bothered to talk nonsense with the shop owner.
Seeing Yang Jing's firm attitude, the shop owner was also hesitant.
Boss, how about this? I'll read a few more books. If there are any suitable ones, I'll take them with me.
Hearing what Yang Jing said, the boss nodded reluctantly. Then he took out a few books for Yang Jing.
Yang Jing flipped through it, only to find that these books are Qing version books. Speaking of which, they are not as good as the Miscellaneous Tan of the Ancients just now. The books are all printed with movable type, and even though one is hand-copied, it is not as good as the Miscellaneous Talks of the Ancients that was stolen just now.
This situation made Yang Jing sigh secretly: There are really fewer and fewer good things now.
In fact, there is no way to do this. If decades ago, the antique market in Tianqu City was still very prosperous, although there were no professional antique cities such as the Grand Canal Antique City and Dongzi Cultural Street Antique City at that time, but Yandiankou Antique City attracts a large number of antique lovers every time it opens.
Even people from Hebei and Shanxi provinces will come. As the popularity of antique markets in Xiong. County and Lang. Fang Da. City of Hebei Province gradually subsided, Yandiankou Antique City in Tianqu gradually became the most prosperous antique city at the junction of Hebei and Shandong, because at that time those treasure hunters often You can find some good things in Yandiankou Antique City.
However, with the relocation of the Yandiankou Antique City and the rise of the Grand Canal Antique City, there are fewer and fewer old objects worth selling on the market. Up to now, the owner of the shop even regards Qing edition books as precious collection.
Yang Jing really didn't have the desire to sell those books, so he pointed to the last book and said, Boss, please bring that book over for me to read.
The shop owner nodded, and said while taking the book out: Little brother, this book is different from the previous ones. One of the treasures of the shop.
This book is the famous Hua Jian Ji.
Yang Jing looked at the book and said with a smile: Boss, if your book is really a Ming version, it's really good.
Of course it's a Ming edition book, I can assure you of that.
Yang Jing nodded noncommittally, and then focused on the book.
This is the seventh volume of Hua Jian Ji. It seems to be very old, and the preservation is not very good, barely reaching the seventh-rank appearance.
Hua Jian Ji has a high status in the history of Chinese literature. It is a collection of words compiled during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. It is also the first collection of literati words in the history of Chinese literature. There are ten volumes.
Hua Jian Ji includes Wen Tingyun, Huang Fusong, Wei Zhuang, Xue Zhaoyun, Niu Qiao, Zhang Mi, Mao Wenxi, Niu Xiji, Ouyang Jiong, He Ning, Gu Yi, Sun Guangxian, The 500 poems written by 18 poets including Wei Chengban, Lu Qian, Yan Xuan, Yin E, Mao Xizhen, and Li Xun collectively and typically reflect the subject orientation, aesthetic taste, and The physical appearance, style and artistic achievements truly reflect the overall picture of the transformation and development of early Ci from folk status to literati creation.
Moreover, Huajian Ci standardized the literary genre and aesthetic characteristics of ci, finally established the literary status of ci, and had a profound impact on the creation of poets in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.
In the Song, Yuan, and Ming dynasties, there were a large number of literati's own manuscripts of Huajian Ji, and there were also many official printed editions in the past dynasties. It is a set of books that has been widely circulated.
In the Ming Dynasty, Hua Jian Ji had many inner government editions, that is, royal engraved editions, and of course family engraved editions and workshop engraved editions. For example, a set of ten volumes of Song edition Hua Jian Ji engraved by Suzhou native Lu Yuanda once fetched a high price of 640,000 yuan in the Jiade Spring Auction in 2014, and the average auction price of a volume reached 64,000 yuan.
Of course, although the Ming edition book is not as valuable as the Song edition book, even the most common Ming edition book now costs several thousand dollars more. It's easy to have more than 50,000 copies.
This book is obviously not the Song version of Hua Jian Ji reprinted by Lu Yuanda, but when Yang Jing opened it, he couldn't help but feel refreshed.
This book is also a Ming edition, but it is obviously not an official edition, but should belong to a family or workshop edition, and it is obviously a Ming edition reprinted from the Northern Song edition, which can be clearly distinguished from the book's structural layout.
The seventh volume of Hua Jian Ji mainly contains the poems of two masters, namely Gu Yi and Sun Guangxian. There are fifty poems in the whole book, among which there are thirty-seven poems by Gu Yi and thirteen poems by Sun Guangxian.
The first poem at the beginning is one of Gu Yi's Huanxisha.
The spring is charming and hates to be credited, but the prodigal son does not return home, and the pear blossoms are exposed in the breeze.
Outside the curtain, there are two swallows in love, in front of the sill there is powerless green poplar slanting, and the small screen is wildly dreaming to the end of the world.
Although it is not an official edition, the printing of this book is quite good, and this edition is still in a relatively rare thin gold edition, which makes Yang Jing even more interested.
Generally speaking, in the early Northern Song Dynasty, most of the stereotyped scripts used European fonts, which were thin and slender, and later gradually changed to Yan fonts, which were majestic and simple; while in the Southern Song Dynasty, most of the engraved editions used willow fonts. This reflects the different aesthetics of different eras.
It is rare to use thin gold body as engravings, even in the entire Song Dynasty. Most of the thin gold body block books that have been handed down to the present are in museums or large collectors. Here you can actually see a thin gold body engraving of the Song version. The engraved copy is also extremely rare.
After turning over a few pages, Yang Jing could already confirm that the book was indeed a Ming edition, but when he turned over a few more pages, his expression changed slightly involuntarily.
