Harry doesn't want to be a wizard, he just wants to be a superhero
#56 - Hagrid's Cabin
Snape's face instantly fell, and he said fiercely, "Mr. Potter, I hear you have some flying talent?"
Harry replied, "Yes, that's right. On my first try, I could make the flying broom fly into my palm.
If Madam Hooch hadn't forbidden us from flying at the time, I might have already mastered the flying broom.
It seems my talent is quite good. Perhaps I can become a Quidditch player in the future."
"If I were you, I would throw that damned flying broom aside!" Snape said sarcastically, "Compared to the profound art of potions, Quidditch, that crude children's game, is not worth mentioning at all. You should spend more time studying potions."
Harry shook his head, rejecting Snape's suggestion:
"Potions are indeed magical. With different potion combinations, you can achieve almost anything.
But I still won't give up Quidditch. It's not a crude sport. If Professor McGonagall heard your words, she would be very unhappy."
The reason he wanted to become a Quidditch player was to make his identity as the savior more three-dimensional. He needed to be excellent in all aspects, not just a savior, but also a potions master, and of course, a talented Quidditch star.
Snape wanted to continue discrediting Quidditch, but he didn't want to be cornered by that elegant old lady, so he could only snort coldly:
"Get out. Since we're done talking, what are you still doing here? Do you want to eat slugs?"
Harry spread his hands and turned to leave.
Poor Snape, living in the shadow of James and Lily his whole life.
Lily had extremely high talent in potions and became a potions master at a young age. Snape's current profound potions skills may be related to her influence.
And James had a high talent for Quidditch, so Snape was not very interested in Quidditch. This may be the reason he persuaded Harry to give up Quidditch and concentrate on studying potions.
However, Snape is still very nice to Harry. Being a potions master is much more promising than being a Quidditch star.
Leaving Snape's office, he first went to the Great Hall to eat.
Harry found Hermione at the Gryffindor table. Unlike Ron, Ron had other friends and wouldn't be lonely even if Harry wasn't there.
But the studious Hermione was not like that. She was out of place in Gryffindor and not very likable.
This was also the reason why Harry had previously wondered why she was sorted into Gryffindor. Ravenclaw was more suitable for Miss Otter.
Sitting down next to Hermione, Harry greeted, "Good afternoon, Hermione."
"Good afternoon, Harry!" Seeing Harry come over, Hermione's eyes lit up.
She really couldn't get used to being alone, especially in the bustling Great Hall.
Clearly, everyone was not far apart, but it seemed as if a wall separated them.
At this moment, that wall was broken by Harry.
Harry was her best friend at Hogwarts, and possibly her only one.
Hermione didn't know if Ron counted.
After several months, Harry inevitably ate more, enjoying the house-elf-made food again.
After lunch, at three o'clock, Harry, Hermione, and Ron reunited and left the castle, crossing the grounds towards Hagrid's hut.
Hagrid was the gamekeeper, and he lived in a small wooden hut on the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
The small wooden hut was very conspicuous, with a crossbow and a pair of rubber boots in front of the door.
Knock, knock, knock…
Harry knocked lightly on the door, and a tense struggle and a low dog bark came from inside.
"Wait a minute!" Hagrid's voice followed: "Back, Fang."
The door opened, and the familiar bearded face appeared before Harry.
He grabbed the collar of a huge black boarhound to let the three in.
But a boarhound taller than the little wizards blocked the way, and Hermione and Ron didn't dare to go in.
Golden spiritual light appeared in Harry's pupils, and he stared lightly at Fang's eyes. The fierce boarhound immediately tucked its tail between its legs, buried its head in its paws, and dared not move.
Hagrid was a little confused about this. Why was Fang so docile today?
The small wooden hut looked small from the outside. After Harry entered, he found that its internal space was much larger than it looked from the outside. This room should have solidified the Undetectable Extension Charm.
It seemed that Hagrid was not as simple as he looked, and he actually secretly used control spells forbidden by the Ministry of Magic.
The small wooden hut was spacious and warm. Many turkeys, pheasants, and strings of cured ham hung from the ceiling, emitting an attractive aroma under the baking of the fire.
In one corner of the room stood an extra-large bed covered with quilts pieced together from scraps of cloth.
Next to the bed was a chest of drawers with some small objects on it, including strange stones, animal bones, and some magical trinkets.
In the center of the room was a huge fireplace, with equally huge wooden tables and wooden chairs in front of the fire. The surfaces of the wooden tables and chairs were polished very smoothly, showing that they had been used for many years.

"Don't be polite, sit anywhere." Hagrid released Fang, poured boiling water into the cups, and took out some rock cakes.
Putting the cups and rock cakes on the table, Hagrid pushed the rock cakes and said, "Rock cakes are delicious. They are my favorite snack. You guys try them quickly."
The rock cakes looked okay, but Ron almost broke his teeth when he bit into one.
Seeing this, Hermione silently put down the rock cake.
At this moment, she suddenly saw Harry tasting the rock cake with relish, and was a little puzzled. She cautiously took a bite and found that it was indeed very hard.
She asked curiously, "Harry, don't you think it's too hard?"
"It's okay. It's more chewy when it's hard," Harry said calmly, silently using magic to strengthen his body.
Maybe it was scared at first, but when Harry sat down, Fang kept lying next to Harry, licking his legs.
Hagrid sighed, "Fang has never been so close to anyone like this today. Harry, you may have a talent for becoming good friends with magical creatures."
The afternoon was still long, and the four began to chat.
Ron and Hagrid were surprisingly in sync. They both complained about Fred and George, but they cursed Filch more.
Hagrid called Filch Old Bucket and said that he would definitely make that damned Mrs. Norris look good.
Ron applauded loudly. He also hated Filch.
While the two were talking, Harry chatted with Hermione, helping Hermione answer many questions.
Suddenly, he found a newspaper pressed under the teapot. It was the latest Daily Prophet.
Harry picked up the Daily Prophet and read it with Hermione, who had curiously leaned over.
It recorded some recent events, including the recent Quidditch match results, the bankruptcies of some shops, and the wanted orders for dark wizards, etc.
Hermione pointed to one of the sections and exclaimed, "Harry, you're in the newspaper again."
Harry looked over, and the section recorded his recent performance at Hogwarts, and praised his talent, saying that the savior would definitely lead the wizarding world to glory!
Harry nodded, thinking, 'They really know how to judge people.'
