Harry doesn't want to be a wizard, he just wants to be a superhero
#7 - Lending Magic
The Dursleys felt offended by Harry's dismissive attitude.
What was wrong with Harry today, daring to ignore them and even disobey Petunia?
Dudley, who loved bullying Harry the most, was the first to approach him, reaching out to shove him:
"Cousin, how dare you disobey Mum? Go cook for me now!"
But as his sticky palm was about to make contact with Harry, Harry lightly waved his hand, and Dudley seemed to be pushed in the chest by a great force, falling to the ground.
Seeing this, the Dursleys suddenly fell silent, and even Dudley, who had been pushed down, was somewhat at a loss. Only Harry continued to drink his juice, also taking a piece of white bread with dip.
From Vernon and Petunia's perspective, they couldn't see Harry's actions just now.
They only thought that Harry had pushed Dudley hard, knocking him to the ground, so both of their expressions turned angry.
Uncle Vernon's face was contorted with anger, his already fat face full of fat looking even uglier. He rushed forward, wanting to grab Harry's collar and teach this disrespectful brat a lesson:
"Looks like you haven't been taught a lesson lately, boy!"
Faced with the furious Uncle Vernon, Harry remained unmoved.
The face that once terrified him now seemed insignificant.
Compared to those bloodthirsty demons, Uncle Vernon was far too kind!
But Harry wouldn't allow Uncle Vernon to touch his collar. He hated being grabbed by the collar and lifted up, feeling like an owl caught by a hunter.
So Harry waved his hand again, and a fleeting golden magic circle seemed to flash in his hand.
The furious Uncle Vernon was immediately lifted up by an invisible force, tugged back and forth on the ceiling and walls.
This scene was so bizarre that the Dursleys couldn't help but scream.
"Ahhh, what's going on? Let me down!"
"Dad, Dad!"
Petunia was extremely anxious. Suddenly seeing Harry still calmly eating white bread, she immediately knew that he was responsible.
That's right, among the four people present, only Harry was most likely to have wizarding talent!
Only he could do such an incredible thing!
Petunia wanted to grab Harry and force him to stop casting spells, but quickly realized that Harry was no longer someone she could threaten. She immediately stopped her action of pouncing on Harry, and instead said sternly:
"Damn it, you clearly didn't go to that freak school, why can you use magic?
Let him down, let Vernon down!"
Harry raised an eyebrow. Aunt Petunia didn't seem surprised by his power, just wondering why he could use it.
Could it be that magic also exists in this world?
Thinking of the magic he awakened when he first arrived in New York, Harry instinctively felt that things were not that simple.
It seemed that the world he originally lived in also possessed extraordinary powers.
Harry just wanted to teach Uncle Vernon a lesson, not wanting to do anything serious. After all, the Dursleys had raised him for eleven years, so he withdrew his telekinesis.
After his feet touched the ground, Vernon only felt his stomach churning, almost throwing up.
He pointed at Harry tremblingly, wanting to curse angrily:
"You… you… you this…"
But seeing Harry about to raise his hand again, Vernon immediately shut his mouth, only sitting on the chair and breathing heavily, glaring fiercely at Harry.
Such 'lovely' eyes were naturally not a threat to Harry, who had slaughtered hundreds of demons.
From then on, the Dursleys once again fell into silent silence. The aunt and uncle looked at Harry eating bread, their faces complex.
As for Dudley, who always liked to bully Harry, he was already scared silly, almost wetting his pants!
Swallowing the last bite of bread, Harry picked up a napkin to wipe his mouth, and turned to look at Aunt Petunia:
"Alright, my dear aunt, it seems you have a lot of things to hide from me. We need to have a good talk.
About my parents, um… and also the magic you mentioned, or the so-called freak school, tell me everything."
Seeing Harry's condescending appearance, Petunia was extremely dissatisfied:
"You nasty little thing, just like Lily, always looking so smug.
Fine, fine, I'll tell you everything. Your parents weren't ordinary people, they were wizards, and that freak school is called Hogwarts, a school that trains wizards."
"Wizards?" Harry muttered to himself, ignoring Aunt Petunia's dissatisfaction.
Now he finally knew the source of the magic in his body. So his parents were wizards, so he was born with magic?
But after knowing this, he had even more questions: "Then where are my parents?"
Petunia's expression was slightly dim, but she still said sharply:
"Your freak parents were killed by a dark wizard. Damn it, do you know how much risk we took to adopt you?
For the first two or three years, we didn't dare to sleep, fearing that the dark wizard who killed your parents would kill us. And you used magic against us today!"
Petunia's long neck stretched out, her fists clenched tightly, feeling very wronged and angry.
Harry was stunned. He really didn't know these things, which made him feel much better about Aunt Petunia.
But his attitude towards Uncle Vernon and Cousin Dudley remained unchanged. After all, he knew that the Dursleys had taken him in most likely because of Aunt Petunia's request.
Harry was silent for a moment, then asked curiously:
"My mother was a witch, but you, as her sister, are not a witch?"
Harry's words were like a sharp dagger, stabbing into Aunt Petunia's chest. Ignoring her fear of magic, she cursed angrily:
"Your mother was a big freak, and you are a little freak. How could I be a freak like you!"
Seeing Aunt Petunia's reaction, Harry nodded. He had roughly guessed Aunt Petunia's thoughts.
Aunt Petunia was probably very envious of his mother, and wanted to become a witch too, but Aunt Petunia didn't have the talent to become a witch, so she was very jealous of his mother.
This could also explain why Aunt Petunia's attitude towards him was so bad.
But understanding was understanding, it didn't mean Harry would forgive them.
After all, eleven years of bullying and humiliation were not something that could be easily forgotten.
Harry tapped his fingers on the table. He curled up a wicked smile, thinking of a win-win solution.
"Aunt Petunia, don't worry, maybe I can make you a mage!" Harry said lightly.
"Who wants to be a mage? I don't want to… Wait, what did you say!" Aunt Petunia stared at Harry with wide eyes, in disbelief.
Even the terrified Uncle Vernon and Cousin Dudley were the same.
If they could really master mysterious magic, who would refuse? Who could refuse?
Noticing their reaction, Harry became more certain of his guess, and then showed a wicked smile:
"However, to gain magic power, you need to pay a price. That's fair.
But you need to sign a contract with me!"
