Harry Potter's Bastard
Chapter 668
Solim still missed the first Hogsmeade Day, in addition to completing the heavy homework of various subjects, more time is still spent polishing the spell he invented, although this spell can be used now, but it is still too cumbersome, Solim is still not satisfied with the time consumed in the process of casting the spell, he decides, if he can't do it within a week, he will ask his grandfather for help, for the improvement and simplification of the spell, Elrond is a master.
Solim is obsessed with his own spells, as are Harry and Hermione...... But they were so obsessed with an old book that they missed the first Hogsmeade Day as well.
Snape's old textbooks had apparently had a great impact on the two men. Hermione was shocked by the improvements to potion recipes and the changes in brewing techniques, while Harry was intrigued by the recorded spells.
Immediately, the two developed a strong interest in this so-called "half-blood prince".
Hermione was very curious about the owner of this old book, and she had the impression that she had only seen Solim when she was a student.
Harry, on the other hand, was itching, the old potions book contained a lot of interesting spells, and he admitted that he did want to give it a try, but Solim's words and Hermione's warnings temporarily discouraged him.
Thanks to Snape's Potions textbook, Harry and Hermione stood out in Slughorn's second lesson. The balding old man with a big belly even boasted in the classroom that Harry had inherited his mother's potions talent, and Hermione couldn't stop looking at him with strange eyes after class.
Harry certainly knew what it was to be so impressive. He'd never gotten extra points in Potions class - there were quite a few demerites. Thanks to the help of this old textbook, which had been roughed up, Harry was now what Slughorn called a "Potions Genius".
There were two people who were very unhappy with Harry's title. One was Hermione, and in the eyes of the more serious girl, it wasn't Harry's own doing, he had used external objects, and Slughorn didn't know anything about it. Hermione was indignant about this, and although she had been offered an invitation from Slughorn, Hermione felt that Slughorn paid much less attention to her than Harry, even though she had made potions that were as perfect as Harry's.
The other one who felt uncomfortable was Ron, Harry's best buddy. In his opinion, if Harry could use an old book to shine in Potions class, he could do it himself. Harry didn't share the contents of the book with him, much to Ron's displeasure. 、
Compared to Solim, who was troublesome, Harry who didn't care, and Hermione, who wasn't too interested, Ron was very enthusiastic about Slughorn's slug club, because getting an invitation was in a sense the person Slughorn valued, and the person that the bald old man valued would be able to achieve remarkable achievements and honors in the future - and that was what Ron longed for.
An old Potions textbook had made the atmosphere around Harry weird, but he didn't have time to deal with it for a while, and he was once again looking forward to going to the Headmaster's office with Solim. He wondered what Dumbledore would let him see tonight.
"You don't seem to like Horace very much?" Dumbledore looked at Solim with interest, he certainly knew why this student was here tonight.
"No," Solim denied, "I just don't like that kind of occasion." "
"And what excuse are you going to make next time?" Dumbledore sat indifferently in the high-backed chair behind his desk.
"We'll talk about that then. Solim shrugged, "It would be nice to miss one less trip." "
"Professor, what are we going to see today?" Harry was a little impatient, although the last incident made Harry quite complaining about what Dumbledore had done at the time, but driven by curiosity, he still wanted to know what happened next.
"We're going to Bob tonight. Take a walk down the memory lane of Ogden. Dumbledore said as he pulled out a crystal bottle from his pocket, containing a swirling silvery-white thing.
"Who's that?" Harry's gaze moved with Dumbledore.
"He was working in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Dumbledore said, "He's been dead for a few days." But before he died, I managed to find him and convince him to tell me about these memories. Now, we're going to accompany him to a place he went to on his mission......"
Dumbledore had prepared the meditation basin and poured the silver substance from the bottle into it, and they slowly swirled in the basin, emitting a faint shimmer.
"Come on, we have an adventure tonight. Dumbledore gestured for Harry and Solim to go in first.
Harry leaned forward, took a deep breath, and plunged headlong into the silver substance. He felt his feet leave the floor of the office. He cut through the swirling darkness, falling and falling, and suddenly, the intense sunlight pierced him and he closed his eyes. Before his eyes could adjust, Dumbledore landed next to him.
They stood on a country road, flanked by tall, tangled hedgerows of bushes, with the summer sky overhead. About ten paces in front of them stood a short, stocky man who wore a pair of glasses with particularly thick lenses, and whose eyes had been reduced to two dots, like the eyes of a mole. He was reading a wooden signpost sticking out of the thorn bush on the left side of the path.
Harry knew it had to be Ogden, for he couldn't see anyone around, and like those inexperienced wizards who wanted to dress up as Muggles, he wore a quirky outfit: a striped swimsuit with a tuxedo coat over it, and shoe covers over his feet. As soon as Harry finished taking a look at his strange appearance, Ogden walked briskly down the path.
As he passed the wooden sign, Harry looked up at its two pointing arrows. The one pointing to the way they came read: Great Hangleston, 5 miles. Pointing in the direction Ogden was going and it was written: Little Hangleton, 1 mile.
"I know this place well. Solim also saw the signpost.
For this place, he was naturally familiar. Dumbledore looked at him and didn't say anything.
As they followed Ogden, the path turned to the left and descended steeply down the hillside, when they suddenly and unexpectedly found a valley in full view.
There's a village there, needless to say, that's Little Hangleston, nestled between two steep hillsides with a church and a cemetery in plain sight. On the hillside across the valley, there is a very imposing mansion surrounded by a large green meadow.
It's a different place than it was when Solim and Elrond came, or at least, it's still a little bit popular - the chimney of the house is smoking.
