Hogwarts: I Am Such a Model Wizard

Chapter 255: Kyle is behind

Chapter 255 Kyle is behind

After leaving Literary Residence, less than an hour had passed, and the few of them started walking towards Flourish and Blotts Bookstore.

But today was a special day. There were far more people going to the bookstore than just them. A large group of people crowded outside the already small store door, and everyone was trying their best to get into the store.

“Why are there so many people today!” Harry opened his mouth in surprise. He had tried several times and failed to squeeze in.

“Maybe Flourish and Blotts is delivering eggs,” Kyle said casually.

"Really?" Ron's eyes lit up.

 “Of course it’s fake!”

Hermione patted his arm with some excitement, raised her hand and pointed to the window upstairs, "Look at that..."

There is a big banner hanging in front of the window:

 Gilderoy Lockhart

 Autobiography signed for sale

 "Magic Me"

 …

"We can meet him in person!" Hermione exclaimed with excitement: "I mean, he wrote almost all the books on the list!"

"But how are we going to get in?" Harry rubbed his sore arm, "Those people are too strong."

 “This is simple…”

Kyle cleared his throat and shouted loudly: "Mr. Lockhart, why are you here!"

For a moment, the crowded crowd stopped moving, and people turned their heads to look for something.

Keir and the others took the opportunity to come to the door and got in through the cracks in the crowd.

“It’s really yours, Kyle.” Harry said with a smile.

"It's nothing." I originally wanted to call Voldemort, that would have a better effect.

"Please, don't say that name." Ron suddenly shuddered, "It will definitely cause confusion."

"I know, so I didn't shout." Kyle smiled, "But Ron, you have to try to accept this name."

"A lot of adult wizards can't do it..." Ron muttered quietly: "Except for you and Harry."

The queue stretched from the door to the back of the bookstore, where Gilderoy Lockhart was signing books.

They each grabbed a copy of "Breaking with the Ghost" and sneaked over to where the Weasleys and Grangers were queuing up.

“Oh, you’re here, great!” Mrs. Weasley breathed quickly and kept patting her hair, “We’ll see him soon…”

Gradually, they saw Gilderoy Lockhart. He sat behind the desk, surrounded by large photos of himself, all of which showed Lockhart winking at the crowd, flashing his dazzling white teeth.

Lockhart himself wore a light blue robe, with a pointed wizard hat tilted playfully on his wavy blond hair.

"He's so charming..." Mrs. Weasley stood on tiptoe, looking like a fan who was about to meet her idol.

"Yeah..." Mr. Granger next to him echoed: "His teeth are indeed charming, oh, and his hair is not bad... What brand of toiletries does he use? Can I buy them here?"

“You can go to the magic supplies shop opposite Ollivander’s, there should be what you need.”

Kyle on the side said: "I recommend you try Porter Express Shampoo. One of our professors has several boxes at home, and he usually doesn't want to use it."

"Even the professor is reluctant to use it, so it must be very expensive..." Mr. Granger frowned.

They didn't exchange many gold coins, most of which were reserved for Hermione to use for school.

“It’s not expensive, a few Sicos can buy a big bottle.”

Mr. Granger touched his thinning hair and felt a little moved.

 “Thank you, kid.”

He said, "I think you must be the Kyle that Arthur and Molly talked about. Hermione also often mentions you, saying that you are the smartest little wizard in Hogwarts."

"This is too high a compliment." Kyle shook his head, "I just used the time when others were playing around to read a book." Harry and Ron subconsciously turned their heads away after listening to Kyle's words.

They feel like they are what Kyle calls “others.”

However, Harry was more concerned about another thing. He walked up to Kyle and asked hesitantly: "Is the shampoo you just mentioned..."

"Yes, it's your Potter..." Kyle said: "But this brand was sold to someone else a long time ago, and it has nothing to do with your family."

The excitement on Harry's face quickly disappeared, and he returned to Ron disappointed.

“What’s wrong with you?” Ron asked.

"Nothing." Harry shook his head.

For a moment just now, he thought he still had an uncle...or actually a relative, but it turned out that his joy was in vain.

 “Get out of the way!”

At this time, a grumpy short man held a large black camera and squeezed past Ron, "Don't block the road, this is for the Daily Prophet."

“Oh, that’s amazing!” Ron said, rubbing the sore instep of the man’s step.

Gilderoy Lockhart heard this. He looked up and saw Ron, and then Harry.

He stared at Harry for a while, then jumped up from his seat and shouted: "Merlin, isn't this Harry Potter?"

The crowd moved out of the way, murmuring excitedly.

Harry watched helplessly as Lockhart rushed towards him. Judging from his movements, it seemed that he was trying to drag him to the front for a photo.

 Between lightning and flint…

Under the threat of social death, Harry's brain suddenly awakened to far greater wisdom than usual.

 “Kyle’s behind you!” he shouted.

“Is it the Kyle who received the Second Class Order of Merlin?” Lockhart became even more excited and immediately looked in the direction of Harry’s finger.

But there were only two middle-aged men and an excited witch...

Harry was stunned.

As for Kyle...he was clearly there just now, but why did he disappear in the blink of an eye!

“I think the child probably hid when he saw that I was too nervous.”

Lockhart showed his bright teeth, "You must know that I have won the "Wizard Weekly" Most Charming Smile Award five times."

This reason is obviously not enough to convince Harry. Although he doesn't know what the "Wizard Weekly" Smile Award is, it is certainly not comparable to the Order of Merlin.

Moreover, Kyle had met a legendary wizard like Nicoléme, so how could he be nervous.

“Kyle must have run away because he didn’t want to take pictures!” Harry thought to himself.

He wanted to do the same, but Lockhart didn't give him the chance.

Even though they didn’t see Kyle, a Harry Potter was enough for them to get on the front page.

Harry was dragged forward like a puppet, and Lockhart held his hand affectionately, allowing the photographer to take pictures.

The short man pressed the shutter button frantically, and plumes of purple smoke drifted over the Weasley family.

The applause of the people around him and the sound of the camera's shutter made Harry feel a little at a loss, and his face turned redder than Ron's hair.

He still can't figure out why Kyle suddenly disappeared.
