Hogwarts: I Am Such a Model Wizard

Chapter 376: Attract cats and dogs

Chapter 376: Teasing cats and dogs

The morning before Halloween, almost all students from third grade and above came to the field outside the gate, preparing to go to Hogsmeade.

Harry was alone in the hall, watched by Filch as if he were on the lookout for a thief.

Among the third-year students, he is the only one who has not submitted an application form, so he will naturally become the focus of Filch's attention.

Soon, Professor McGonagall arrived and the team started to set off.

Harry tried to look the same as usual and said goodbye to Ron and Hermione in a nonchalant tone.

“Don’t worry about me, see you at the banquet later, have fun.”

 “Staying here, Potter?”

Malford deliberately turned a corner and ran to him and shouted: "Don't you dare to pass those dementors?"

Harry ignored him and turned towards the marble stairs.

“He can’t go to Hogsmeade, he will miss a lot of good things...”

Fred, who was walking at the end of the team, looked back at him and whispered: "He can't always stay in the castle these seven years. It's too boring."

"That's right." George nodded in agreement, "We have to help him..."

"How can I help..." Kyle next to him asked: "Give him the Marauder's Map?"

"This is also a good idea." Fred said, "We have recorded the locations of all the secret passages, and it might not be a bad idea to give them to Harry.

“But this will not be very convenient when traveling at night...” George thought for a while, “Actually, the map made last year is also good, as long as the location of the secret passage is added.”

“But we have to do it in a concealed manner so as not to be discovered by Filch or the professor.”

“How about like the Marauder’s Map…there must be a password to reveal the location.”

 “That’s what I mean…”

A few people discussed along the way and soon arrived at Hogsmeade Village.

After seeing those pointed roofs, Fred and George immediately forgot about Harry and went straight to Zuko's Joke Shop.

In front of the Stinky Egg, the Burping Powder and the Flying Bug... Harry? Really unfamiliar.

Cedric was going to Dervis-Bans to buy tools for pruning broom branches, and Kyle decided to go with him.

The shopkeepers there are a pair of brothers with a wide range of connections, and they can always get some novel gadgets.

As for Kangna and Qiu, they were more interested in Mrs. Puddieffe's Teahouse.

The people agreed to meet up at the Three Broomsticks an hour later and then parted ways.

Devis-Bans is located at the innermost part of Hogsmeade, next to the Pig's Head Bar. Compared with other shops, this place looks much smaller.

Kyle and Cedric opened the door and walked in.

Inside the shop, various magic items were stacked high and precariously, looking like they might collapse at any time.

Kyle had only seen this look in the room where things were hidden in the Room of Requirement.

"welcome…"

A blond wizard poked his head out from behind the counter, "I want to buy something..."

“Have you got any tools for trimming broom branches?” asked Cedric.

"Of course." The shopkeeper leaned forward and pulled out a square box from among the piled magic items.

Because of his movement, the entire wall suddenly shook, and Cedric was so frightened that he quickly took two steps back.

But the shopkeeper was not surprised and put the box on the counter and opened it without any concern.

  “Nine sickles of pruning pliers.

“A complete set of broom care tools costs two galleons, plus a bottle of wood wax oil and a portable carrying case.

"which one you want?"

“A full set of tools, it’s more cost-effective…” Cedric counted out two galleons and put them on the counter.

"Thank you for your business." The shopkeeper looked at Kyle again, "So, what do you need?"

"Before I do that, I want to ask." Kyle pointed in the direction of the store door and asked, "Is the dog outside the door domesticated?"

“What?” The shop owner looked up and found that there was indeed a **** dog lying outside, right next to the door, which could be seen through the glass.

“Of course not, to be honest, not many wizards would choose a **** dog as a pet.”

The shop owner shook his head and said, "I think it might have escaped from the Pig Head Bar next door. The customers there are always strange, so I won't be surprised by anything they bring."

When he said this, the shopkeeper suddenly laughed.

“I remember that a rune snake ran out last time. I could clearly hear Ms. Rosmerta’s scream that day from here.”

“Well...it seems that Ms. Rosmerta doesn’t like snakes with three heads.”

Kyle looked back and asked with a normal expression: "Do you have any novelty here?"

 “It’s a coincidence that you’re here.”

The shopkeeper took out a gray bead and said, "The good thing I just got yesterday, the mist gem... After it is crushed, it will form a thick fog that cannot be blown away. It will last for about two hours."

“The whirlwind spell can’t be blown away?” Kyle asked.

"Unless it is a cyclone spell cast by Mr. Dumbledore himself." The shop owner said half-jokingly, "otherwise you will find that the thick fog will only swirl in a specific area instead of being blown to other places. ."

Kyle's eyes lit up, "How much."

"Twenty Galleons." The shopkeeper said, "It may be a bit expensive, but this is something only available in Wagadu. We managed to get three of them with great difficulty."

 …

After some bargaining, Kyle bought all the mist gems for fifty-five galleons.

The shop owner only agreed to a discount of five galleons, but gave him a pair of anti-monster glasses and a few irregular opals.

Although Kyle suspected that he just wanted to take the opportunity to clear out the unsold inventory, don't give away free things.

Half an hour later, the two left the Deviss-Bans store with a lot of harvest.

The black dog I saw before was still lying at the door. A pair of gray eyes kept scanning the little wizard coming and going on the main road, seeming to be looking for something.

When Kyle walked past it, he suddenly stopped and then pressed his tongue against his upper teeth...

   “嘬嘬嘬!”

With almost no hesitation, Black Dog turned his head subconsciously.

Sure enough, this trick works for all dogs.

Kyle knelt down and raised a finger, "Sit!"

The black dog showed a trace of human ridicule on his face, ignored him, flicked his tail and continued to lie there.

“Pfft…” Cedric covered his mouth with his hand.

He was quite opposed to this dog just now. After all, in the magical world, the ominous image that all wizards avoid is the image of a **** dog.

But now that he saw Kyle being mocked by a dog, he couldn't help but laugh... Well, it's a good dog.

Kyle didn't care. He took out a pack of dried meat, shook it in his hand, and said again: "Sit down!"

This time, the black dog stood up straight in an instant, with its front paws on the ground, sticking out its tongue, and staring at Kyle's hand with burning eyes.

 “Wall around…”

Black Dog hesitated...until Kyle opened the bag.

After smelling the strong smell of meat, it rolled on the ground without hesitation.

Kyle then tried several other passwords.

 Running…turning in circles…standing jumps…drilling rings of fire…Thomas pirouettes…

The black dogs are all completed one by one.

“Not bad, this is a reward.” Kyle put the dried meat in front of it, “Eat it.”

“It’s so smart.” Cedric squatted next to him and said in surprise, “It’s like it can understand you completely.”

The black dog paused for a moment, but then he started to chew the dried meat like a dog that was fine.
