Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King
#116 - Chapter 116 The Man Hiding in the Turban
“Sebastian, it's you!”
Quirrell's roar echoed in the darkness.
So close, yet so far!
He had Potter in his grasp, but Sebastian, appearing from who knows where, rescued him.
Quirrell felt a sense of unease; this was not how he envisioned things going.
“Give me Potter! He is the key to obtaining the Philosopher's Stone! I am on the verge of success!”
“I regret to inform you,” Sebastian's voice was calm and unhurried, “that Potter is not available for you.”
Hearing Sebastian's words, Quirrell's heart sank.
What was going on?
Did this fellow not desire the Philosopher's Stone anymore?
Why would he refuse his request?
Could it be that he intended to act alone?
Or was this all a trap from the beginning?
“Fool!” Voldemort's hoarse voice echoed from the back of Quirrell's head. “Why bother with him? Kill him and snatch the boy!”
Hearing this, Quirrell felt a surge of resentment.
Easier said than done.
He couldn't see anything in the dark, and Potter was right beside that guy.
What if he accidentally killed Potter by acting rashly?!
Despite his thoughts, Quirrell cautiously directed various spells towards the direction of Sebastian's voice.
“Stupefy!”
“Petrificus Totalus!”
“Crucio!”
For a moment, the sounds of various spells filled the dark room, scaring Harry into shrinking back.
Harry quickly untied the ropes binding him. He didn't want to be a mere spectator; he wanted to join the fight.
Gradually, the darkness in the room dissipated, and with the light from the magical lamps, Harry could once again see everything clearly.
He saw Sebastian standing casually in front of him, not even raising his wand, looking as relaxed as if he were on vacation.
In front of Sebastian, there was a transparent shield. Quirrell's spells struck it, creating ripples but having no effect whatsoever.
Was that a Shield Charm?
It seemed completely different from the Shield Charm cast by the Protective Badge...
Why was its defense so high?
Harry was filled with doubts. Although he hadn't learned the Shield Charm yet, ordinary Shield Charms didn't have so many intricate patterns.
Forget it; now wasn't the time to delve into these things!
Harry yanked off the ropes on his body, abruptly stood up, and walked to Sebastian's side.
He was about to ask what to do when he saw Sebastian smile at him, then look at Quirrell and say calmly.
“Professor Quirrell, are you done playing around?”
“If you don't stop, I'm going to retaliate.”
Quirrell ceased his spells, looking at Sebastian with resentment.
Why was the difference so vast?
The other party hadn't even moved a hand, yet he had blocked all his attacks with just a Shield Charm.
If the other party really attacked, would he even have a chance of survival?
“What are you waiting for? Use the Killing Curse to kill him!” Voldemort's voice echoed again; he had had enough of this servant's foolishness.
The Killing Curse?
Truth be told, Quirrell didn't dare.
It was now clear that the other party's strength was far above his own.
Even if he used the Killing Curse, he might not be able to kill the other party and might easily provoke him instead.
He ignored Voldemort's urging and looked at Sebastian with bloodshot eyes.
“Weren't you supposed to be at Durmstrang? Why are you here?” Quirrell's voice was full of questions.
“Aren't we allies? Why didn't you come to help me?”
“You've been deceiving me all along, haven't you? If you're here, then Dumbledore...”
“Don't worry, Dumbledore isn't here.” To prevent Quirrell from resorting to desperate measures, Sebastian reassured him.
“Moreover, I've been helping you all along. Can't you see that?”
“Without me, you would have long since sucked the blood of a unicorn and become a half-dead monster.”
“If I hadn't stopped you, you would have died at Harry's hands the moment you touched him.”
“Ask yourself, does that thing in your turban truly cherish your life?”
“Enough! Don't try to sow discord between us!” A sharp voice echoed from Quirrell's turban.
“Let me out, Quirinus! Let me talk to him, face to face.”
This time, the voice was clear and loud, and everyone present heard it.
Who?
The thing in the turban?
Quirrell was actually hiding someone in his turban!
How did he do that?
Harry was puzzled. Suddenly, the scar on his forehead felt like it was burning with fire.
Voldemort was here!
In just a moment, Harry understood the cause and effect. He endured the pain and looked at Quirrell's turban with hatred.
As Quirrell's turban gradually receded, Harry's gaze slowly changed from hatred to bewilderment.
He had tried his best to use his imagination, but he had never imagined that Quirrell would have a human face on the back of his head.
A two-faced person!
That face was so eerie and terrifying, pale and gray like a corpse, as if it had no blood at all. The skin was tightly wrapped around the bones, appearing dry and emaciated.
The nose was flat like a snake's nose, leaving only two narrow holes, making a low hiss when breathing.
His eye sockets were sunken, revealing an unspeakable evil. Those eyes were like two pieces of ice, emitting a cold light.
Seeing this terrifying scene, Harry's legs were a little disobedient, and he staggered back two steps.
This was the Voldemort everyone feared?
How could he look like this!
Thinking that this inhuman thing had killed his parents, Harry's courage returned to him.
“Voldemort!” He took a step forward and shouted at that ugly face, “It was you who killed my parents!”
“I will do everything in my power to stop you from obtaining the Philosopher's Stone and stop you from resurrecting!”
“How courageous!” Voldemort's voice carried a hint of mockery. “This is the great Harry Potter, the boy who defeated me in legend.”
“Very well, I admire courageous people the most.”
“Oh, by the way, your parents were very brave, so I, in my mercy, rewarded them with a Killing Curse, allowing them to die without pain.”
“Would you like to know your mother's last words? Come and help me, and I will tell you exactly what they were.”
“Dream on! You monster, I wish I could kill you right now.” Harry raised his wand abruptly.
He didn't want to think about anything now; he just wanted to hit that face with a spell.
“Protego!”
A flash of a Shield Charm appeared in front of Quirrell, and Harry's spell did not achieve the desired result.
He gritted his teeth and was about to strike again when Sebastian stopped him behind him.
“Foolish!” Voldemort said fiercely, “To not cherish your little life.”
“You will eventually die at my hands, and I will prove to the world...”
Before he could finish, Sebastian interrupted, “Lord Voldemort, why bother arguing with a child?”
“You wanted to talk to me, didn't you?”
“I'm right here, let's talk!”
