Hogwarts: I am the White Demon King
#125 - Chapter 125 Harry: I'll Treat You Today
The Hogwarts Express, as always, carried a train full of chattering young wizards towards London.
Inside the carriages, the young wizards were enthusiastically discussing their summer vacation plans.
Some planned to preview the lessons for the new school year during the holiday;
Some wanted to catch up on the third installment of "Wandering with Werewolves";
Others said that several new video games had come out this year, and they would definitely take advantage of the summer vacation to play them well.
The scenery outside the window flashed by, gradually changing from lush natural landscapes to bustling urban scenes.
As the Hogwarts Express pulled into Platform 9 and 3/4, the platform was already crowded with wizarding families who had come to pick up their children.
In order to prevent a large number of young wizards from flooding into King's Cross Station at the same time and attracting the attention of Muggles, the staff carefully guided them away from the platform in batches.
After saying goodbye to Ron and Hermione, Harry stood outside King's Cross Station and took a deep breath.
The crowd in front of him was bustling, but he felt unusually lonely in his heart.
Thinking about the Muggle life he was about to face in the coming month, he felt an unspeakable sense of irritability.
He helplessly scratched his hair, making his already messy black hair even more disheveled.
Sigh...
Why did he have to stay at his aunt and uncle's house for a month?
Why couldn't he go directly to Swan Manor? That was where he really wanted to be.
Headache!
As soon as he left King's Cross Station, he saw his Uncle Vernon.
He was wearing a well-tailored dark blue suit, with a delicate tie pinned to his chest, looking particularly energetic.
His hair seemed to have been carefully styled, not a strand out of place, and he wore a business-like smile on his face, as if he was going to an important business meeting.
"Harry, you're back. How was the year?" Vernon's voice revealed a hint of deliberate enthusiasm.
Harry was slightly shocked, his uncle's change caught him off guard.
Was this still the Vernon Dursley he knew?
In the past, his uncle always wore a stern face when he saw him, looking disgusted.
Now he was actually being so polite to him?!
Could it be that after a year apart, his hatred for him had lessened a bit?
Or was it that his uncle had been promoted and received a raise, and was in a better mood?
"I'm fine," Harry said in surprise. "Uncle, did you get a new car?"
"Yes, I was promoted to department manager last year." Uncle Vernon pointed to the brand new black car next to him and smiled slightly.
"Did you come back alone?" Uncle Vernon's eyes kept scanning behind Harry, as if looking for some important person.
Vernon's question confused Harry even more.
What did he mean?
If he didn't come back alone, would he bring a friend?
He didn't have the guts to do that.
Could it be... did Uncle mean to ask if Sebastian had sent him back?
After all, he was the one who picked him up from the Dursleys' house last year.
Harry's mind was in a mess, and he couldn't figure out what his uncle was thinking. He scratched his head and replied, "Just me."
Seeing that Harry had no one with him, Vernon finally breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Let's go, let's go home then."
Soon, Harry returned to the Dursleys' house.
"Harry, you're finally back," Aunt Petunia squeezed out a smile.
Dudley glanced at Harry and continued playing with his latest handheld game console, with his usual arrogance and impatience on his face.
"Yeah, I'm back," Harry smiled, then shouted at Dudley on the sofa, "Dudley, I have a gift for you."
This sentence stunned the Dursley family, especially Dudley, who widened his eyes in surprise, even forgetting to play his game.
Harry taking the initiative to give gifts was something that had never happened before.
Was he being sincere?
Or was he trying to trick him?
"What gift?" Dudley asked suspiciously, his face full of curiosity and distrust.
Harry smiled and took out all kinds of magical candies from his suitcase.
"These are candies from the magical world," Harry explained. "There are Fizzing Whizbees, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, and Chocolate Frogs. Try them."
"These Fizzing Whizbees can make you fly in the air."
"This Chocolate Frog can hop around like a real frog."
...
Listening to Harry's introduction, the expression on Dudley's face gradually changed from initial surprise to disbelief. His eyes widened and his mouth opened wider.
Dudley cautiously tasted a Fizzing Whizbee, and his eyes immediately revealed a happy and surprised expression.
He had never tasted this kind of flavor before!
Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon stood aside with a hint of worry on their faces. They wanted to stop Dudley from eating these messy things.
Seeing Dudley slowly fly into the air, Aunt Petunia couldn't help but scream.
Uncle Vernon was completely stunned. He frowned, pursed his lips into a straight line, and muttered softly.
"Wizarding things are just unsafe. Dudley can't eat these things anymore!"
Fortunately, Dudley landed safely soon after, which relieved Petunia and Vernon.
"Harry, these candies are so much fun!" Dudley said excitedly, his eyes shining.
"Dudley," Harry said with a smile, "If you like them, I'll send you more magical world candies in the future!"
----------------
It was dinner time.
Harry waved his hand: "Tonight, it's my treat. Let's go to a restaurant to eat."
Aunt Petunia and Dudley looked at Harry in surprise, while Uncle Vernon was completely stunned.
Aunt Petunia's eyes widened, and she asked hesitantly, "Harry, where did you get the money?"
Harry smiled slightly and said casually, "Sebastian gave it to me."
Uncle Vernon's face immediately became unusually complicated when he heard this name, and fine beads of sweat quickly oozed from his forehead.
Sebastian...
The person who controlled his career destiny.
He had notified himself two weeks ago to pick up Harry from home.
If he knew that Harry was being treated badly in his house, then his job would be in jeopardy.
Thinking of this, Uncle Vernon quickly waved his hand and said, "Oh, Harry, no need, no need. I'll treat you, after all, we are the elders."
He forced a smile, his voice trembling slightly, trying to appear generous.
Aunt Petunia glanced at Vernon, seemed to understand something, and then turned to Harry and said, "Yes, Harry, you don't have to spend money, we'll treat you."
Dudley's face was full of dissatisfaction and jealousy. He frowned, wondering why Harry could go to a restaurant for dinner when he was on vacation.
He had been on vacation for so long and hadn't eaten a single meal out!
Who was the real child!
